On Feb 20, 2023 I bought two tickets for a concert Feb 21, **** at the *************** in *******. I thought the tickets were being bought via Ticketmaster but unbeknownst to me they were via third party, Ticket Fulfillment Services LP (TFS). The tickets were priced at Orpheum for $107 each plus a fee of $14 each for a grand total of $240 charged to my AnEx credit card. Instead I was charged a total of $304.83. I was never informed the tickets were nonrefundable. I could not reach TFS to cancel the order and so we did not go to the concert and did not use the tickets. I want a full refund of $304.83. This is a bait and switch ploy and violates the ****** Consumer Protection Act. If I dont receive the refund in a reasonable period of time, I ************ for treble damages, interest and attorney fees. My dispute was initially directed through AnEx but my dispute was rejected. As such, we are able to provide the following information.
The customer has stated that they believed they were purchasing through the website for the venue or of the event itself. However, it should be noted that the marketplace web address and website branding are intentionally different from those of any other site. The top of every event and ticket listing page states "[This is] is a trusted secondary marketplace. Prices set by sellers may be above or below face value." During the checkout process the customer was presented with the marketplace terms and conditions, including the statement: To complete your order, you must agree to the sales terms and conditions and confirm that you have reviewed the Order Summary above. All prices are listed in US Dollars. All sales are final. The customer was required to select a check box signifying their agreement to these terms and the statement, I agree to the sales terms and refund policy listed above and acknowledge that this site is a resale marketplace. By clicking "Place Order", my credit card will be charged $304.83 which includes ticket, service, and delivery fees. Lastly, the customer was prompted to select "Place Order", at which time their order was processed.
Due to the nature of the secondary marketplace, neither TFS nor the marketplace through which the customer purchased are affiliated with any artist or venue and do not own inventory. Since customers are purchasing tickets owned and listed by individual resellers, policies are designed to be fair to both parties. This means that a refund cannot be offered and an all sales are final policya standard throughout the industry must be adhered to. Please note that in addition to this current claim, the customer filed a dispute with their financial institution regarding this transaction. This has been addressed, and the dispute was ultimately ruled in our favor. If the customer has any further questions regarding this dispute, we encourage them to reach out to the financial institution with which it was filed. On 1/19/23 we purchased tickets from this site for an *** basketball game. Under the assumption that this was TicketMaster as they fraudulently lead you to believe that they are a reputable source. The tickets were for the same evening. We received an email with a confirmation but then could not access the tickets. We tried contacting the company to find out how to access the tickets but they did not answer so we ended up purchasing though the actual Ticketmaster site after realizing it was a fraudulent site for better seats at 1/3 the cost. We tried to contact them again the next day but kept being transferred to a new number and no one ever answered. We sent a claim into our bank to dispute the charges and we just received a response back that this company provided proof of use for tickets that were never used. We just want our $291.50 back. Today I tried to contact the company via a live chat and they now say that they have no record of our order. The numbers that they have listed on the bank statement and website are different and they could not verify the name of the company/location for this dispute. On our bank statement it says the merchant name is TicketsArizona State but they are not affiliated with the university. I was only able to find them here through the phone number on my bank statement. Attached you will find the statement with the charge. As well as the conversation screenshot from today where they admit we did not use the tickets yet cannot find the order.Business Response

During the checkout process, customers are able to view the delivery format for their tickets. The selection the customer made was electronic transfer, where sellers transfer the tickets using the platform that the venue has issued tickets through. Customers receive an email with instructions on how to access their tickets, as well as a separate email which contains a link to claim their tickets, advising them to do so. It has been confirmed that the ticket transfer was received on 1/19/23 8:32 PM central standard time and maintain that the link sent was valid. If the customer had any issues accepting or locating the ticket transfer, we welcome them to call in.
Due to the nature of our business on the secondary marketplace, TFS is not affiliated with any artist or venue and does not own inventory; instead, we act as an intermediary between customers and sellers. All prices listed on our site are done so by the individual seller, not TFS, based on their personal assessments regarding a range of factors including customer demand. Since our customers are purchasing tickets owned and listed by individual resellers, we must ensure that our policies are fair to both parties. This means that we are unable to offer refunds and must adhere to an all sales are final policya standard throughout the industry.
We maintain that all order details were sufficiently displayed prior to placing their order and tickets were sent to their email prior to their event; as such, we consider this matter closed. On February 6th a charge for ****** was made to my PayPal account which was taken from my bank account. I didn't authorize this charge and reported it the first day. A customer service rep with PayPal filed a complaint with the company. PayPal has since closed the account because they are not at fault and encouraged me to contact the company directly to receive a refund. I first emailed ticket support @secure-tix.com on February 6th and have provided them with the information that they requested from the very beginning. I have been given the run around with them telling me that I needed to contact PayPal first, then that they could do nothing because I filed a claim with my bank (financial institution). I have not. I just want my money back. I don't want whatever tickets these are that I didn't authorize.Business Response

Once an order is placed on the marketplace website it is reviewed for potential fraudulent activity and orders are only confirmed if no evidence of fraud is found. In this case the customer's claim could not be substantiated and, as noted in the claim, the customer filed a dispute with their financial institution regarding this transaction. The dispute has been addressed and was ultimately ruled in favor of the merchant. As it stands a refund is not available for this order, and the "all sales are final" policy disclosed on the marketplace site will continue to be adhered to. If the customer has any further questions regarding their financial dispute, we encourage them to reach out to the financial institution with which it was filed. I am rejecting this response because: I have not filed a claim with a financial institution meaning my bank. I did report the charge as fraudulent to PayPal immediately. PayPal said it wasnt their responsibility to refund the money since it was sent immediately to ticket fulfillment even though I filed a complaint with both PayPal and ticket fulfillment within minutes of the charge. it was ticket fulfillments responsibility. Im not sure how theyve decided that this charge isnt fraudulent because their representatives literally agreed that it was in the emails from them that were attached. I want a complete refund. I dont care anything at all about any tickets as I didnt choose to buy them in the first place. Again, there has been nothing filed with my bank only PayPal who did not side with the vendor but simply said that the vendor is responsible for the refund because they have the money. I have done quite a bit of research about this company since the fraudulent charge, and they seem to give people like me who have been defrauded the run around Im not sure how theyre still in business. Please refund my money and resell whatever tickets these are.

We understand the customer reported that they did not place the order in question. However, all identifying information provided on the order corresponds with customer's information. As such no evidence of fraudulent activity was detected in this case. We would direct the customer to review the documentation they provided in which at no point did TFS confirm fraudulent activity. In our previous response we directed the customer to their financial institution in relation to the dispute opened against their order. As noted by the customer, their order was purchased using PayPal and as such all concerns related to the dispute should be directed to PayPal. As it stands no refund may be offered for this order and as such we consider this matter closed.

On 2/17/22 used secure-tix.com to buy baseball tickets. When I checked out the site said my seats were already purchased and no longer available. Logically thinking the transaction didn't go through I immediately started over again, selected seats and completed my transaction. The seats (also high seats as previously selected) we're an additional $100 for the 4 seats. Then when I check my statement I see I'm charged for the original seats (that were not available according to their own site) as well as the 2nd seats that I knew I purchased. When I called them I was told I had to sell them myself.This is NOT the right way to do business. They are in the business to sell tickets not me and it's easier for them to just refund for their own error and have a happy customer with only 4 ***********************/seats instead of 8. On 2/16/2023 the customer placed an order for the ************ at San Francisco Giants game on 6/11/2023. The order was confirmed at 11:43 PM CST at which time both an order summary as well as a ticket delivery email were sent to the email address entered by the customer at the time of purchase. Half an hour later the customer completed a second order for the same event. The customer's second order was confirmed at 12:17 AM CST at which point the order could not longer be cancelled in accordance with the agreed upon terms of sale.
In addition to this current claim, the customer has filed a dispute with their financial institution regarding both of their transactions. Due to the nature of the dispute process, we are unable to provide further assistance for this matter while the disputes remain open, and encourage the customer to contact their financial institution with any questions regarding its process or outcome. As it currently stands, we consider this matter closed.

In this case the customer's order was initially fulfilled shortly after their order was confirmed on 11/29/2022. At that time both an order summary as well as the ticket delivery email were sent to the email address entered by the customer at the time of purchase. On 2/22/2023 the customer contacted customer service regarding this issue and their ticket delivery email was resent and the tickets downloaded. As valid tickets were provided to the customer prior to their event their order is considered fulfilled in accordance with the marketplace's buyer guarantee and as such their order does not qualify for compensation. As the customer's event has not yet occurred if they require additional assistance we recommend they contact customer service.

on or about october 22, 2022, we attempted to purchase concert tickets through ticketmaster, with whom we have an account. . Upon trying to upgrade our tickets due to price change in Event, imagine my surprise when told I didnt purchase from Ticketmaster. I have contacted the company and was told it is too late "because we already have the money." This vendor then upcharged us . This company defrauded us into believing we were purchasing tickets from ticketmaster, and is using "you should have read the fine print" to take money from us in exchange for a product they do not have and have not provided to us. I spent $557.70 on useless tickets We understood we were purchasing ticket, not a promise to provide tickets at a future date. We had no intention of conducting business with this vendor at all - we thought we were working with our usual vendor, this vendor knew that. This vendor, Ticket Fulfillment Service, has charged us fees far in excess of anything remotely reasonable ($557.00 almost 2.5 times the price of the product), and provided no product, and no service. According to your website, they will likely never provide the product. We are requesting they cooperate with our credit card company and provide the requested refund since they fraudulently misrepresented themselves. The tickets in my email will not upload. It should first be noted that there is no record of the customer having contacted the customer service team to discuss this matter. Furthermore, there is valid documentation on file showing the tickets were delivered on 10/22/22 to the email address that the customer provided at checkout. The *********************** were delivered using a specific link that granted access to the tickets in an online account which is operated by a third-party. The screenshots that the customer provided with their complaint verify that they received the tickets in the account manager, through which the tickets were transferred by the seller.
Additionally, the top of every event and ticket listing page clearly states, "Secondary market tickets. Prices may be above face value." The online ticket marketplace prioritizes transparency and exceptional customer service. Every order placed on the site is backed by a Buyer Guarantee, which means that the tickets will be authentic, valid for entry, and delivered prior to the event. This guarantee is outlined within the terms which were available for review during the checkout process. On the final page of checkout, after the customer input their payment and billing information, they were required to select a check box signifying their agreement to the terms stating, I agree to the Terms & Privacy Policy. I have reviewed the Order Summary above. I understand that this site displays resale tickets and that prices may be above face value. I understand that this site is not affiliated with any box office or venue. All sales are final. There are no refunds, exchanges, or cancellations. All prices are listed in US Dollars." Hello, my name is ************************On January 18, 2023, I checked the advance ticket information for ******************** concert in ******** on May 11. The official channel for selling tickets is Ticketmaster, the website ****************************************. com/ But I dont know why when I checked, the page jumped to tickets-centre, the website ******************************* center.com/ and paid for 4 tickets, the total price is $1,768. I received the payment information I used PayPal I found an exception, so within 5 minutes of receiving the payment success message on 1/18/2023, I found the customer service of the website to raise a dispute and wanted to cancel or refund. The customer service replied that the terms and conditions of the sale were before finalizing the order Once agreed upon, there is no way to cancel or refund. I have no choice but on January 29th I disputed the payment on PayPal and asked for a refund, while I waited for ticker-centre customer service to email me to confirm or I prayed that they would actually ship the tickets to In my hand, until February 11th, I still didnt get any reply, so I filed an escalation dispute on PayPal and asked PayPal to contact Ticket-center. The final result was that the ticket centre rejected me on the grounds of delivery. refund. I contacted the customer service of ****************************** again today to ask about my ticket. He told me that the ticket will be shipped to me before May 10th, which is the day before the event, but there is no way to confirm when it is. When I proposed that I didn't need 4 tickets. His advice to me was You can certainly list your tickets on a reselling website. You would simply create a ****** search using the phrase "Sell My Tickets". Please be aware that each site has different seller fees and guidelines in order to list and sell with them. Alternatively, you can utilize social media platforms to find interested buyers. The delivery email was sent to the email address entered by the customer at the time of purchase and contained a link the customer should follow to accept their ********************** transfer. A clear and detailed explanation of this process was provided in the email sent to the customer. As valid *********************** have been provided to the customer prior to their event their order is considered fulfilled in accordance with the marketplace's buyer guarantee.
Due to the nature of the secondary marketplace, neither TFS nor the marketplace through which the customer purchased are affiliated with any artist or venue and do not own inventory. Since customers are purchasing tickets owned and listed by individual resellers, policies are designed to be fair to both parties. This means that a refund cannot be offered and an all sales are final policya standard throughout the industry must be adhered to. On February 11, 2023 I purchased 5 tickets to see Jurassic Park Live Tour. I was billed for 10 tickets. I called my bank and was told I needed to contact the company at ************. I called them and was told there would be no refund. I stated that I ordered 5 tickets only. They charged my bank account $794.40 when they should have charged me $397.20. Once delivery method if selected, the breakdown appears with the price per ticket, all fees, and the total charge of $794.40 in bold text prior to entering any payment information. Once the customers input their payment and billing information, the customer is shown a statement saying: By clicking, Place Order, you agree to the Terms of Use including refund terms and Privacy Policy. You also acknowledge that this site is a resale marketplace and that your credit card will be charged $794.40, which includes ticket, service, and delivery fees. All prices are listed in US Dollars. All sales are final. Directly below is the Place Order button, at which time the customer proceeded to place their order.
Due to the nature of our business on the secondary marketplace, TFS is not affiliated with any artist or venue and does not own inventory; instead, we act as an intermediary between customers and sellers. All prices listed on our site are done so by the individual seller, not TFS, based on their personal assessments regarding a range of factors including customer demand. Since our customers are purchasing tickets owned and listed by individual resellers, we must ensure that our policies are fair to both parties. This means that we are unable to offer refunds and must adhere to an all sales are final policya standard throughout the industry.
Prior to receiving this claim, we thoroughly discussed this matter with the customer to address all of their concerns. We maintain that all order details were sufficiently displayed prior to placing their order and tickets were sent to their email prior to their event; as such, we consider this matter closed. If the customer has any additional concerns regarding their order, we encourage them to reach out to our customer service department so that they may be addressed.

Ticket Fulfillment Services LP.. When I ordered the tickets I was under the impression that I was using the venue's ticket site. The site for this vendor is very misleading and confusing. They do not give you the prices that they upcharge for service, delivery, etc. even though they say they do. The total price for the tickets was $385 but the price I was charged was $1895.51. No where in the initial email was it broken down. Also, the seats I requested were specific seats and this company says they are zone tickets. That is not what I paid for. This company should be investigated according to the number of complaints I see here. At no time did I see a break down of price charges just the final charge. I tried to go through their customer service but was told they will not issue a refund. Come on protect consumers. This means neither TFS nor the online ticket marketplaces own ticketsinstead, the marketplaces facilitate transactions between ticket buyers and ticket sellers. As such, we are able to provide the following information.
In addition to this current claim, the customer has filed a dispute with their credit card regarding this order. We are unable to provide a resolution to this matter while this dispute remains open due to the nature of the dispute process. We encourage the customer to contact the institution with which the dispute was filed in relation to any questions they may have regarding its process or outcome. As it currently stands, we consider this matter closed.

As such, we are able to provide the following information.
The customer reached out the customer service team on 2/9/23 regarding their tickets transfer. Subsequently, it was discovered that a typographical error was made in the email address the customer provided at the time of purchase, which is why they had not received their tickets. We informed them that a request to have the tickets re-transferred to the corrected email address would be submitted. Because the tickets had already been transferred, this was only a request; consequently, it was unable to be guaranteed that these tickets would be transferred to the corrected email address. Please note that the re-transfer was successfully completed on 2/9/23.
At this time, we consider this matter resolved. If the customer has further questions regarding their order, we encourage them to contact the customer service team for assistance.
