On 3/27/24 I purchased 2 tickets to a concert from ticket fulfillment center for August 2024.Prior to the date I called the concert center, ********************, and they informed me I had not purchased tickets. I noticed the charge as I was filing my taxes. I contacted ******* Stage and they indicated tickets purchased from a 3rd party, Ticket Fulfillment Center. I never received any tickets nor a confirmation of said item.I would like to file a complaint and ask for a complete refund.Business Response

Thank you for contacting us regarding this matter. We appreciate the chance to address the customers concerns. ****************************************************************** ("TFS") does not sell tickets. Rather, it processes orders and provides customer service for online ********************** marketplaces. *** is not affiliated with any artist or venue and does not generate tickets as a primary box office. This means neither *** nor the online ticket marketplaces own ticketsinstead, the marketplaces facilitate transactions between ticket buyers and ticket sellers. As such, we are able to provide the following information.
Once the customer selected the ********************** listing they desired for *******, they were able to see the tickets available. Once selected, they are taken to a page with an in-depth description of their ticket information, event details, ticket quantity, delivery method and any other notes related to the tickets. After confirming their selection, they were directed to input their email address. Please note that here, customers are provided with an order summary that displays the event details, ticket location, and number of tickets the customer has selected on the right-hand side. This breakdown detailed the price per ticket, all fees, and the total charge of $467.50 in bold text prior to entering any payment information. Once the customers input their payment and billing information, they were prompted to click Continue and under this button it states: Your account will not be charged yet. Then, the customer is required to select a check box signifying their agreement to these terms stating, I agree to the Terms & Privacy Policy. I have reviewed the Order Summary above. I understand that this site displays resale tickets and that prices may be above face value. I understand that this site is not affiliated with any box office or venue. All sales are final. There are no refunds, exchanges, or cancellations. All prices are listed in US Dollars. Some venues may require proof of vaccination or negative COVID test. You are responsible for checking venue health and safety requirements for entry." Below the terms, the customers order total breakdown is reiterated. Directly below the Place Order the customer was presented with the message, "By clicking 'Place Order,' your credit card will be charged $467.50 which includes ticket, service, and delivery fees" at which time the customer proceeded to place their order.
Due to the nature of the business on the secondary marketplace, TFS is not affiliated with any artist or venue and does not own inventory; instead, we act as an intermediary between customers and sellers. Since the customers are purchasing *********************** owned and listed by individual resellers, we must ensure that the policies are fair to both parties. This means that we are unable to offer refunds and must adhere to an all sales are final policya standard throughout the industry.
Prior to receiving this claim, we thoroughly discussed this matter with our customer. As all order details in question were accessibly and visibly displayed prior to placing their order, we consider this matter closed. If our customer has any additional concerns pertaining to their order, we encourage them to contact our customer service department.

On November 18th, 2024, I received an email advertising Sting Tickets 10% off. I responded to the email the following day and purchased 4 tickets to see Sting on January 23rd at the Observatory in ******************** at the ************* Awards Show. On Wednesday, January 22nd, 2025, I received an email notification from the Observatory that due to illness, Sting was not going to perform at the event, and that the show would continue without his participation, but if preferred, refunds were available through Ticketmaster. Thus, since Sting who was headlining the show, was no longer performing, I contacted Ticketmaster for a full refund. Ticketmaster informed me that since our tickets were purchased through Ticket Fulfilment Services LP that they needed to request a refund and in turn reimburse me. I then contacted Ticket Fulfilment Services to request a refund and was told that since the show was going on without Sting that they would not be providing any refunds. At best this is a company hiding behind fine print assuming the customer will simply give up and eat the $1899.50 or at worst a case of blatant false advertising. Either way, Sting did not perform, refunds were offered through Ticketmaster, but Ticket Fulfilment Services chose not to reimburse me for the tickets. I am seeking help from the Better Business Bureau to refund my $1899.50 from Ticket Fulfilment Services for the Sting performance that never took place.Business Response

This means neither *** nor the online ticket marketplaces own ticketsinstead, the marketplaces facilitate transactions between ticket buyers and ticket sellers. The customer has stated that they believed they were purchasing through the website for the venue or of the event itself. However, it should be noted that the marketplace web address and website branding are intentionally different from those of any other site. The top of the website homepage clearly states, [TFS] is a trusted secondary marketplace. Prices set by sellers may be above or below face value. Furthermore, the top of all event pages on the marketplace clearly notify customers, We are a leading ********************** resale marketplace. Ticket prices may be above or below face value. We are not owned by or affiliated with any venue, box office, team or performer." As such, we are able to provide the following information.
At the time of purchase, in order to complete their order, the customer completed a multi-step user driven checkout process. After selecting the ticket listing they preferred, they were presented with the delivery method as well as the expected delivery date, and were then directed to input their email address. Please note that here, customers are provided with an order summary that displays the event details, ticket location, and number of tickets the customer has selected on the right-hand side. At which time the customer proceeded to complete their purchase.
It should also be noted that in addition to this claim the customer has opened a dispute with their financial institution regarding their order. We are unable to provide a resolution to this matter while this dispute remains open due to the nature of the dispute process. We encourage the customer to contact the institution with which the dispute was filed in relation to any questions they may have regarding its process or outcome. Dear RepresentativeI can accept the fact that I fell victim to a classic online scam of "bait and switch" and trusted the seller would deliver on the services as advertised. What I can't accept is that BBB is willing to allow this type of overt deception to occur unabated by simply accepting a coined legal response from a corporate attorney and administratively moving my complaint to closed file a with the full understanding that this practice is morally wrong. That said, this dishonest business practice will continue to manipulate thousands of tax paying citizens that rely on the BBB to monitor and ensure corrupt and unprincipled businesses such as these are held in check. At the very least, if their reselling agreement did not provide an avenue for them to seek reimbursement through TicketMaster, as a sign of good faith, they should be held responsible to returning the difference between what they paid the original ticket owner and my $1899.00.
Sincerely,

The bottom line is that we paid $1900 to see Sting perform and Sting didn't perform. Other ticketing companies reimbursed the cost of the tickets because Sting failed to perform. I was under the impression that the BBB intervened when large corporations took advantage of consumers for unfair business practices and didn't simply act as a middleman allowing these corporations to recite legal jargon in lieu of services not rendered. No new information has been offered since what was previously submitted stands on its own merits. What free enterprise society allows consumers to be charged to see a performer who didn't perform. This corporation is taking advantage of unexpecting consumers for whom the BBB is supposedly protecting.

Fraud! I was charged $389.50 and called to report fraud; I was put on old and passed from person to person before being told since the tickets had been downloaded, it needed investigation. Ticket Fulfillment Services ("TFS") is a third-party technology platform that licenses order processing, customer support and other back-offices ******************** to online ticket marketplaces. I thought I was on TicketMaster and purchased three tickets to Outlaw Music Festival in *******, **. I then received an email from TicketsOnSale with a purchase ID code and a disclaimer that tickets are final with no refund or resell. I was told tickets will not be available until August 8 which is day before event. No tickets were issued. I immediately applied for refund and both their voicemail and chat line said no refunds allowed. The chat person then said he would work out a deal with me and teach me how to resell for a profit if I was interested. I said no. I then learned that tickets were not even on sale until Feb 7 three days later. Many reviews indicate a scam with no tix ever provided. Thank you for responding. We appreciate the opportunity to further address the customer's concerns and clarify the marketplace policies. As previously stated, as a secondary resale platform neither *** nor the marketplace through which the customer purchased are affiliated with any artist or venue and do not own inventory. This information is stated at the top of every page on the marketplace website. To this end the market place is not affiliated with, nor does it direct customers from, any primary market or venue website.
As previously stated, tickets for the customer's event were transferred electronically through a third-party platform to the email address they provided during checkout on 2/17/25 at 4:46 AM CST. While we understand the customer may have experienced issues locating or accessing their transferred tickets, TFS is not associated with the third-party platform through which the tickets are sent. In addition to this current claim, the customer filed a dispute with their financial institution regarding this transaction. At this time, their dispute has been resolved. If the customer has any further questions regarding this dispute, we encourage them to reach out to the financial institution with which it was filed. As it currently stands, we consider this matter closed.

TicketsOnSale marks up ticket prices significantly and then adds fees and services that will add another significant amount to your total so you are paying double the price of what you should be paying. They have a policy which says if their price is not accurate they will correct the price or allow a cancellation. They will not honor this policy when you ask them to sell the tickets at a fair retail value or allow a cancellation. This site should be shut down. It should be illegal to resale tickets at a markup when people unknowingly think they are getting retail and can get retail, and then also charge them additional fees/service making there cost double. People are buying tickets so they can enjoy something with their hard earned money but being scammed just ruins it. Since the customers are purchasing *********************** owned and listed by individual resellers, we must ensure that the policies are fair to both parties. This means that we are unable to offer refunds and must adhere to an all sales are final policya standard throughout the industry.
Prior to receiving this claim the online marketplace thoroughly discussed this matter with the customer to address all of their concerns. We maintain that all order details were sufficiently displayed prior to placing their order; as such, we consider this matter closed. On Jan. 30th 2025 I was searching for ticket sale information for a show at the ******** in ************. I searched the venue online and found a website titled as the Fillmore. It then took me to a layout of the venue with ticket prices for general admission. It then stated I would be purchasing tickets through Ticketmaster. Unknowingly I was on the ticketsonsale website, which was not made clear as it stated the tickets were via Ticketmaster. I completed the transaction for the tickets. Once I got my confirmation email, only then was I made away that the tickets would actually need to be transferred to me by someone at Ticketmaster. And the purchase is nonrefundable. I contacted Ticketmaster for more information. They said I cannot resale the tickets for this show according to the venue. Despite what the website explaining that I can resell my tickets, customer service said ***************************** will not let me resell them. I paid twice the price on the Ticketsonsale website compared to available tickets on Ticketmaster and I was able to purchased the tickets before they were on sale to the public via Ticketmaster or the venue. The Ticketsonsale website was deceiving and dishonest. I was overcharged. They have sold me resale tickets that are not available for resale from this venue. I believe the tickets may be fraudulent.Business Response

Thank you for contacting us regarding this matter. We appreciate the chance to address the customers concerns. ****************************************************************** ("TFS") processes orders and provides customer service for online ********************** marketplaces. *** is not affiliated with any artist or venue and does not generate tickets as a primary box office. This means neither *** nor the online ticket marketplaces own ticketsinstead, the marketplaces facilitate transactions between ticket buyers and ticket sellers. As such, we are able to provide the following information.
Directly at the top of the marketplace website it states, "We are a resale marketplace. Ticket prices may exceed face value. This site is not a primary ticket seller or box office." Furthermore, displayed at the top of the checkout page is the statement "We are a ticket resale marketplace and not the primary seller. Prices may be higher or lower than face value." This statement remains on screen throughout the entire checkout process. At the final step of the checkout process customers are presented with the message stating, "By clicking Place Order, you agree to the sales terms and conditions. I have reviewed the Order Summary above and understand that I am not purchasing directly from the venue box office and that tickets may be above face value. I understand that I will be charged $193.34 to my selected method of payment. All sales are final. All prices are listed in US Dollars (USD)." In order to complete their purchase the customer selected "Place Order" thereby accepting the sales terms and order total.
When the customer selected their listing and completed the checkout process they were able to view the delivery format for their selected tickets. The selection this customer made was electronic transfer, where sellers transfer the tickets using the platform that the venue has issued tickets through. On 1/31/2025, one day after the customer placed their order, they received an email with instructions on how to access their transfer which also contained a link to claim their tickets. The customer's order is considered appropriately fulfilled and does not qualify for cancellation or compensation. Since all relevant purchase terms were agreed to when the customer completed their order we consider this matter closed. If the customer has any additional concerns pertaining to their order, we encourage them to contact the customer service department.

I bought tickets from this website and received an email stating that they were basically trying to allocate a Seller to transfer me the tickets and would provide me with tickets within the next 7 months. I do not support ticket scalping and price gauging, i also expect when i buy something to receive the product in a reasonable amount of time. I called immediately after placing the order to cancel and was told that there are never any returns or cancellations permitted by this company for any reason. They stated this was all in the terms when buying the tickets, which was not visible to me when buying the tickets. When i told them i did not agree to this at the time of purchase they just argued with me. I reviewed these terms and conditions and they stated the order was not confirmed until written confirmation was given which i never received, and i would like to cancel as i had not received this confimation- they then said they would send it now, although i had already to expressed my desire to cancel, i advised them that was fraud and theft and against their own terms and conditions. THEY THEN ADVISED ME TO SCALP THE TICKETS (even though they had not and told me they may not even provide me with the tickets until the day before the event). I advised them they were asking me to act immorally and illegally and they just hung up on me. This is a scalping website. They do not have any guarantee that they will provide the tickets in a timely manner. They write the terms and conditions as to entrap people and steal money. They should be prosecuted criminally, as i see many have had the exact same experience with this fraudulent company.Business Response

On 2/5/25 the customer selected a ********************** listing for Goo Goo Dolls and ********* ************ which was listed at $73.00 per ticket. During the checkout process a detailed order summary is displayed on screen and informs the customer of their event details, price per ticket, and applicable fees. This information was fully disclosed after the customer entered their email address and selected a ticket delivery method, but before they were asked to enter any payment information. At the bottom of this page and above the "Place Order" button it was stated, "By clicking, Place Order, you agree to the Terms of Use including refund terms and Privacy Policy. You also acknowledge that this site is a resale marketplace and that your credit card will be charged $492.05, which includes ticket, service, and delivery fees. All prices are listed in US Dollars. All sales are final." Finally the customer clicked the "Place Order" button to complete their purchase.
Due to the nature of the secondary marketplace, neither TFS nor the marketplace own or generate any tickets and therefore do not set or control the ticket delivery date. Rather, the estimated ship date is set by the individual seller of the tickets and is dependent upon the primary issuer of the tickets, with which *** has no affiliation. The customer was provided email notification regarding the expected available date for their tickets, which in this case is set closer to the event date. Please note, all purchases made on the marketplace website are covered by the 100% Buyer Guarantee, which ensures that tickets are authentic and will arrive before the customer's event. As all order details and terms were sufficiently displayed prior to the customer completing their order we consider this matter closed. If the customer has any additional concerns pertaining to their order, we encourage them to contact the customer service department.

I am rejecting this response because:I made an attempt to cancel this order before receiving the confirmation of availability as stated in their terms and conditions, and they did not honor the cancellation as it was made within the timeframe of their own terms, They furthermore advised me to illegally sell the tickets. Companies should be in the business of repeat clientele, not nefarious money grabs with ambiguous "all sales final" terms which compete with other terms which are not clearly stated as they have responded. They are a predatory company with predatory practices

Thank you for responding. We appreciate the opportunity to further address the customer's concerns and clarify the marketplace policies. Due to the nature of the secondary marketplace, neither *** nor the marketplace through which the customer purchased are affiliated with any artist or venue and do not own inventory. In accordance with the terms agreed to at the time of purchase a refund cannot be offered and an all sales are final policya standard throughout the industry must be adhered to. The 100% Buyer Guarantee posted by the marketplace ensures the customer's *********************** will be authentic and arrive on time for their event. This guarantee however has never allowed for cancellation upon request.
As previously stated, the customer was provided email notification regarding the expected available date for their tickets, which in this case is set closer to the event date. It should also be noted that in addition to this claim the customer has opened a dispute with their financial institution regarding their order. We are unable to provide a resolution to this matter while this dispute remains open due to the nature of the dispute process. If the customer has any further questions regarding this dispute or its outcome, we encourage them to reach out to the financial institution with which it was filed. At this time, we consider this matter closed.

I am rejecting this response because:There are terms in their own terms and conditions that they are choosing to ignore completely to support this narrative that is predatory. I canceled before being issued a "written (email) confirmation of the availability of the tickets." and the company refused to communicate with me further and hung up on me multiple times.
Sincerely,
