On July 31, 2022 I was ordering concert tickets on the venue website. I thought I was ordering the tickets through the venue's box office but realized after that it was Tickets On Sale. The on-line order went easy and I used my credit card to pay the fee of $684.52. The invoice number is #********. On the same day I received an email telling me that I needed to use a link to go to Ticketmaster.com to accept the 2 tickets. I did this. The concert, ********************************* at ******************************************************** in **************, **, was scheduled for Sept. 24, 2022. That date was then cancelled and rescheduled for Oct. 22, 2022. On Sept. 15, 2022 I received an email from Ticketmasters saying that the ********************************* concert had been cancelled and that because I purchased the tickets from Tickets on Sale I would need to contact them for a refund. I contacted the Tickets on Sale customer support number ************* on Sept. 15, 2022 and again on Sept. 19, 2022 in regards to the refund. Both times a woman named **** answered and told me that they had not received notice from the venue that the concert was cancelled. I called the customer service at ********************************************************, on Sept 19, 2022, and was told the concert had in fact been cancelled. The representative asked whom I purchased the tickets from. I said Tickets on Sale and she said she had never heard of them. At this point I feel that Tickets on Sale is not a trust worthy business and they have no intention of refunding the cost of the tickets. I have contacted my credit card company, Navy ********************* and filed a fraud claim with them in hopes of getting my $684.52 returned.Business Response

We purchased Incubus tickets through this company. They were floor tickets for $543.50. I purchased them on April 7, 2022. I did not look to see that I had received them until the day of the concert. I just trusted they would be there. They were not. I looked everywhere I could think of- they were never sent. Then I checked BBB and saw other claims of people not receiving tickets. In this case the customer's *********************** were sent to the customer's email address shortly after their order was confirmed on 4/7/2022. At that time an order confirmation and a ticket delivery email were sent to the email address entered by the customer at the time of purchase. The customer did not contact customer service at any point prior to, or after, their event to report any issues with their order or gaining access to their tickets. It should be noted that valid documentation was obtained from the third party site confirming the validity of the transfer link the customer received to access their ***********************, and as such the order is considered fulfilled. Since the order was fulfilled in accordance with the marketplace's buyer guarantee the order does not qualify for compensation. If the customer has any additional concerns we encourage them to contact the customer service department; at this time, we consider this matter closed.

I purchased tickets in February for the play Hairspray (order number ********) to be held March. The play was postponed and we found out via the venue that it was rescheduled for September 15th. I did not hear from TicketsOnSale so I reached out to them on 9/14/22 asking about the new tickets. I recieved the run-around that they did not know if it was being canceled or rescheduled so they would look into it. I told them that it was rescheduled- for 24 hours from the time I am calling them. They said they would look into it. After about an hour- they said they did not have any updates and for me to watch my email. At this point I requested a refund- they offer a service and they have not provided this service. I understand that all sales are final- but they can not give me the tickets or the refund. That is not acceptable- my charge for the tickets was $552.53 (including service charges) . I asked for a manager and the response I got from that was they are not allowed to forward calls to the manager- they can answer my questions and concerns. I reminded them that they still have not- and I was told to watch my email for updates. On 3/11/2022, the customer purchased *********************** to Hairspray at the ******************* of Arts & Science scheduled to occur on 3/26/2022. This event was later rescheduled by the event production or venue to 9/15/2022. On 9/14/2022, the customer was sent email notification which informed them of this date change. Please note that if an event is postponed or rescheduled, the previously provided tickets will still be valid for the postponed or rescheduled date; therefore, pursuant to the terms agreed to by the customer at the time of purchase, compensation is not issued in such cases. Prior to receiving this complaint we have informed the customer of this policy. As the originally delivered tickets were valid for the new event date the customer's order was appropriately fulfilled and as such we consider this matter closed.

Thank you for responding. We appreciate the opportunity to further address this matter. As previously stated, in the case of a rescheduled event, all previously provided tickets are guaranteed to remain valid for the new date. This matter was investigated with the seller and it was determined that there was no indication from the primary market that tickets were reissued for this order. As the customer's *********************** were originally delivered on 3/11/22, they were provided valid tickets prior to their event. Therefore, the order has been fulfilled in accordance with the terms agreed to upon purchase, and is not eligible for compensation. At this time, we continue to consider this matter closed.

I am rejecting this response because:1. Per the venue, new tickets were to be issued. This was the primary reason I contacted the business to get the new tickets- which they refused. They did tell me that the old tickets were still valid- but I told them the venue said they would not get me into the show. I needed new ones issued per the venue. (I was not going to drive an hour to get there to find out I couldn't get in)
2. If they are saying the tickets were still valid- why did I get the messages that they were working on them, delivering me new tickets, and emailed a link to download new tickets (30 min prior to the show)? Which those tickets were still the ones dated March 26th.
Attached is an email that I received from the venue's box office. He did say he could be contacted if needed.

When the customer made their purchase on March 20th, 2022, an expected availability date was given as November 2nd, 2022. Expected availability dates are listed to disclose when the seller estimates the inventory will be available for transfer. This was also included in the order summary, which was sent to the email address the customer provided at the time of purchase. As of September 16th, an email containing the inventory was sent to the customer.
In addition to this current claim, the customer filed a dispute with their PayPal account regarding this order. A resolution to this matter cannot be provided while this dispute remains open due to the nature of the dispute process. The customer is encouraged to contact the institution with which the dispute was filed in relation to any questions they may have regarding its process or outcome. As it currently stands, this matter is considered closed.

In this case the ticket delivery email was sent to the email address entered by the customer at the time of purchase. This email was sent shortly after the order was confirmed on 5/22/2022. Upon review it appears the customer entered a typographical error in their email address when placing their order. At this time the email has been updated and the ticket delivery email has been resent to the customer's email at this time for their convenience. As valid tickets have been provided to the customer prior to their event their order is considered fulfilled in accordance with the marketplace's buyer guarantee and as such their order does not qualify for compensation. As the customer's event has not yet occurred if they continue to experience issues locating or accessing their tickets we recommend they contact customer service for further assistance.

I was trying to purchase tickets (2) on August 28, 2022 for *******************************. I picked out tickets that were listed as $169 each ....but when I went to my credit card the next day I found out that I was charged quite a bit more. Over $110 for a service charge. If they were upfront about this charge I definitely wouldn't have purchased these tickets. They WERE NOT upfront about a service charge they way they presented the ticket sale on line. I communicated with them on line yesterday 8/30/22 to cancel the tickets and get a refund. They told me to sell them to someone; they would not give me a refund and cancel the tickets. The top of every event and ticket listing page clearly states, "We are a resale marketplace, not a box office or venue. Ticket prices may exceed face value. This site is not owned by any venue or box office." Once the customer selected the event they were interested in, they were able to see all the listings available for purchase along with their respective price per ticket. Once they selected the listing that they were interested in purchasing, they were taken to a page that disclosed any applicable listing notes. On this page, the customer was also prompted to select the quantity of tickets that they desired to purchase. After the customer selected their quantity of *********************** and hit the "Checkout" button, they were taken to the Login page which displayed a detailed order summary on the right side of the page. After the customer entered an email address to create or sign into an existing account, they confirmed their delivery method and billing information. On the final page of checkout, an in-depth order summary was provided on the right-hand side of the page, including the date and location of the event, the section and row of their tickets, the price per ticket, and total quantity of tickets selected. The delivery and service fees were also displayed along with the total charge of $456.20 highlighted in bold text. Prior to confirming their purchase, the customer was required to select a checkbox signifying their agreement to the terms, along with the statement "I agree to the [site's] policies and am aware that I am purchasing from a resale marketplace, not the box office or venue, and may be paying above face value." Just above the "Place Order" button, it was stated, "By clicking 'Place Order', your credit card will be charged $456.20. All prices are in US Dollars. All sales are final." As the customer agreed to these terms prior to purchase, their order is not eligible for a refund. On Aug 15 I bought four tickets on ticket master app for the braves and marlins game on sept 2. Then this parking offer that I thought was part of the app poppped up and was trying to sell me a parking pass for $70. Also making me think this was the last spot. Once the customer selected the ********************** listing they desired ******* Braves Parking, taking place on 9/2/22, there they were able to see the tickets available, the Delivery Method and Expected Delivery Date (EAD) of 8/31/2022. Once the customer selects the *********************** they prefer, they were presented with the Delivery Method and directed to input their email address. Please note that here, customers are provided with an order summary that displays the event details, ticket, and number of tickets the customer has selected on the right-hand side. This breakdown detailed the price per ticket, all fees, and the total charge of $99.15 in bold text prior to entering any payment information. Once the customers input their payment and billing information, they were prompted to click Continue and under this button it states: Your account will not be charged yet. Then, the customer is required to select a check box signifying their agreement to these terms stating, I agree to the Terms & Privacy Policy. I have reviewed the Order Summary above. I understand that this site displays resale tickets and that prices may be above face value. I understand that this site is not affiliated with any box office or venue. All sales are final. There are no refunds, exchanges, or cancellations. All prices are listed in US Dollars." Below the terms, our customers order total breakdown is reiterated. Directly below the Place Order the customer was presented with the message, "By clicking 'Place Order,' your credit card will be charged $99.15 which includes ticket, service, and delivery fees" at which time the customer proceeded to place their order.
Due to the nature of our business on the secondary marketplace, TFS is not affiliated with any artist or venue and does not own inventory; instead, we act as an intermediary between customers and sellers. All prices listed on our site are done so by the individual seller, not TFS, based on their personal assessments regarding a range of factors including customer demand. Since our customers are purchasing tickets owned and listed by individual resellers, we must ensure that our policies are fair to both parties. This means that we are unable to offer refunds and must adhere to an all sales are final policya standard throughout the industry.
Prior to receiving this claim, we thoroughly discussed this matter with the customer to address all of their concerns. We maintain that all order details were sufficiently displayed prior to placing their order and tickets were sent to their email prior to their event; as such, we consider this matter closed. Ticket Fulfillment Services is a scam operation. They obviously pay to go to the top of the search list when using ****** for finding tickets. I was buying tickets to a class A baseball game that will never be even close to a sell-out and had no idea what tickets cost. I relied upon TFS to be reasonable. Turns out, they charged me $42 for an $11 ticket. On top of that, they added fees and by the time they were finished, I paid $123 for $22 worth of baseball tickets.How can that even be remotely reasonable for a third-party service to a Class A baseball game? I am rejecting this response because: the Nine Inch Nails Show is THIS evening and I NEVER received any email tickets and I've checked trash, spam, and they were never emailed.I would like a refund. I have a receipt (attached from Paypal) and do not know what to do. I have heard this company is a scam. I'm very disappointed.
Can they supply a REAL copy of these emails? (Not photoshopped)

Thank you for responding. Please note that the online marketplace the customer purchased their *********************** on, sent their tickets to the email address provided during checkout. Upon further review of the customer's order, it was discovered that a typographical error was made in the email address the customer provided, which is why they had not received their tickets. Please note that the online marketplace site is used is user-driven, thus all information comes from the customer during checkout and the system has no capability of altering the information the customer provides, including the customers email address. We appreciate the customers understanding.

I purchased 3 ********* Browns tickets through Ticket Fulfillment Services LP for 8/21/22. They took my payment but never sent me the tickets. I called on 8/22/22, and they hung up on me. When I called back, I was told they sent the tickets to a different email address but they refused to issue a refund and claimed they could not transfer me to a supervisor, nor could they provide me with a supervisor or owners name and then hung up on me again. So I'm out $43.50. I was able to buy new tickets for my and my kids through TIcketmaster at the last minute. I looked up Ticket Fulfillment Services LP online and found countless complaints about them ripping off other customers.Business Response

Thank you for contacting us regarding this matter. We appreciate the chance to address the customers concerns. Ticket Fulfillment Services ("TFS") processes orders and provides customer service for online ********************** marketplaces. TFS is not affiliated with any artist or venue and does not generate tickets as a primary box office. This means neither TFS nor the online ticket marketplaces own ticketsinstead, the marketplaces facilitate transactions between ticket buyers and ticket sellers. As such, we are able to provide the following information.
In this case the customer's order was initially fulfilled on 8/15/2022. The delivery email was sent to the email address entered by the customer at the time of purchase and contained a link the customer should follow to accept their ********************** transfer. The customer later contacted the customer service team indicating that they had not received the tickets, and it was determined that this issue arose due to a typographical error the customer entered in their email. Since the customer did not report this issue until after the event passed the customer service team was unable to provide assistance related to this issue. As the tickets were transferred to the original address provided by the customer during the checkout process their order was considered fulfilled. This means that a refund cannot be offered and an all sales are final policya standard throughout the industry must be adhered to. Please note that in addition to this current claim, the customer has filed a dispute with their PayPal account regarding this order. No resolution for this matter may be provided while this dispute remains open due to the nature of the dispute process. We encourage our customer to contact the institution with which the dispute was filed in relation to any questions they may have regarding its process or outcome. As it currently stands, we consider this matter closed.
