      I only use GrubHub when traveling. I have not had a problem in the past? But my order was left with the concierge soaking wet. The driver laid two bottles of water & a sprite on top of a paper bag full of 5 Guys inside the delivery bag thats plastic. ************* immediately tore apart as soon as the plastic was untied. The sprite also apparently had been shaken up because it went everywhere when I tried to open it. There is no way that I can find to lodge a comp with them directly.

      Awful, scum, trash, incompetent, fraudulent. These are a couple of words that come to mind when I think of Grubhub. Stay far away from this sinking ship.

      Placed an order for me and my young child order took an hour for delivery when I received the order food was cold and uneatable.i contacted customer service and they only offered me 15 which comes no where near money spent on the order. The customer service supervisor was threatening me to have my account reviewed for profanity. I did not curse at the supervisor I simply told her the truth of how taken advantage of I feel by grubhub.if it was them ordering they would want hot food and if it wasn't correct they would want their money back too.this company cares about only one thing and customer satisfaction isn't it.

      Went to place an order, somehow what the app registered was not what I ordered at all (ordered cheese steak, app decided I wanted a club sandwich instead) tried to cancel the order to find out the app has no way of doing so and you are forced to talk to "customer care". I asked them to cancel the order SIX TIMES to only be asked follow up questions rather than have my order canceled. After failing to cancel my order after being asked 6 times I was informed that the restaurant had already begun making my food and they couldn't cancel or refund my order. I then called their customer support line and was told the same thing *** that there was nothing they coukd do to right the wrong caused by their shotty app. Overall they stalled on canceling my order to keep my money. Save yourself the headace of dealing with these people and just get your food yourself

      Beginning during the pandemic, I began to order extensively from food delivery services. I eventually came to primarily use Grubhub. I am currently a Grubhub+ member and have been an extremely frequent customer.However, today 2/14/24, I planned to order from Grubhub, only to be blocked from their site with the message that "our system thinks you might be a robot. I attempted the "Press and Hold" test the blocking page prompted, only to find that the test constantly looped back to "Please try again," never generating the box I was supposed to checkmark. I even tried their challenge verification code sent via email. Their code message was sent to my spam folder, but retrieving and entering the numeric code did not restore access to Grubhub. Since I am unable to access Grubhub's regular automated customer service, I have posted messages to both @Grubhub and @GrubhubCares on the * platform. To this point I have received no acknowledgment -- much less help from Grubhub personel.

      Consistent only in deliveries to wrong address and hot food cold. Not worth disappointment. To add stress, all that you've already dealt with, now you have to go through much more due to a larger lack of efficiency just trying to get an exceptable resolution.

      I just attempted to order some Chinese food from a local restaurant - located roughly (only) 5 miles from my house. First I was charged a service fee - $4.50. Then I was charged a delivery fee - $3.99. Then they "recommended" a tip for their driver of over $7.00. For an order of House Lo Mein and 2 eggrolls. All told my order was going to amount to roughly $42.00. But here's the kicker - when I was told that my order was going to roughly take an hour, I went to the restaurant's private website after I asked Grubhub's help desk to figure out why - to see if they had their own, in-house delivery service. I found out that on top of all of the extras Grubhub was charging me, they were bumping the price of the food up on their website (when compared to what the actual restaurant was charging). So, curious, I called the place and not only did they not give Grubhub permission to charge more, Grubhub never even asked them .... they just did it all on their own to make more money off of a small, local place. That seems illegal to me. I would love for the BBB to look into if they have the time.

      I never received my order. I contacted the store directly and they said they have no record of an order. Grub hub would not let me cancel because it had the status as in process. They still charged me for the order and they dont answer their chat with us option. I will decline the charge on my credit card and will share this this information
