1 starI was a patient at Oak St.Health until they told me if I did not come in for an appointment every 3 months they would not renew my prescriptions.. I told them I did not need to come in that often because I am a very healthy individual. I only wanted to come in when needed. But they said NO. So I said goodbye and I would find me another doctor, which I have done.Review fromCatherine T

1 starI have been a patient for just over a year. Initially I had a doctor assigned, but he left the practice in summer 2023. I now have a nurse assigned to me.The biggest problem stems from test results and references for things like my latest mammogram, which required 6- yes 6 - calls to get correct forms sent to the correct testing facility. That testing facility did send results in the mail within 3 business days. I have yet to receive follow-up from Oak Street, although I have told them repeatedly that I need results from every test that is done. I am still waiting for results of an echocardiogram. I called and requested results and was told I would receive a callback later that day. After receiving a message I tried to follow up, was told the nurse was out of the office for 3 days and that no one else can read the results to me.This office is located in ***** **. Oak Street Health experience at ************** **, office.Setting up first appointment was very difficult due to:Inability to contact the local office direct. All calls are directed to an Oak Street Health call center, who, I was told, could not schedule appointments no further out than 10 days from the requested appointment date and that no appointments were available within their 10 day appointment window. So I had to go to the office in person to make an appointment.1st appt:I had to meet with their patient account manger. He asked for my personal and insurance information. I was then asked for my social security number. When I balked at this, I was told that it was needed to change my primary care giver to Oak Street Health. I was told that this had to be done before I would be allowed to see the Doctor. I should have left at that time, but after all the time I spent getting this appointment and then waiting 3 weeks for the appointment, I agreed. I met with to ******* at this location, who was also friendly and courteous. I had brought copies of a list of my medications, my most recent lab reports and a list of health items I would like to address. He took these and I explained my main concerns about my health. He listened, but offered no medical advice and ended the appointment. This was a huge disappointment.2nd appt. was for a blood draw.3rd appt:I met with the nurse who did routine things. I was asked a lot of non physical health questions, which made me uncomfortable. After about 20 minutes of this, she wanted to do an EKG, which I refused. I advised her my cardiologist does this, she insisted I refused. After this she left and returned told me the PA asked for a list of items I wished to discuss. I had already given the Doctor this information. It was then obvious to me that the PA had not looked at the information I provided to Oak Street Health during my first visit. So, I advised them that this visit was over and left to never return.

1 starMy appointment on yesterday with Provider ******* at **********,** location was horrible the provider needs to learn bed side manners and learn to talk to people not at them I totally shut down when speaking to her and told her to forget it and that I do not any Rx's called in, this experience was totally waste of my time. 1 starBeen to 2 Dr's through oakstreet health. One Dr seemed nice, knowledgeable but...no return phone calls tried multiple times to get a script increase and I FINALLY get a phone call BUT from a computer and you can't understand it. Only word I could understand was APPROVED. WELL 2 weeks later letter in mail was a referral I didn't ask for. BEWARE and if you want good health care go elsewhereReview fromBob P

1 starI told Oak Street I had selected another healthcare provider and asked them to stop calling me. However, they continue to call me at least twice a week, if not more. They have a boiler room somewhere and all they do is call people who inquired about their services. Who ever heard of a healthcare organization with a boiler room? 1 starto whom this may concern I am reporting something I feel need to be checked out Because I have been lied to about a symptom, they told me that I had, blood in my stool from a colonoscopy test I took in 2022 came up positive not true,so I retested in 2023 it came up negative.meaning something fishy is going on here I'm thinking why would they tell me this & this is why I*'m reporting this to you. I don't have blood in my ********** haven't been to see them in about a year I'm scared too.Just for these reason.They have my medical documents an insurance info I want to leave them but not sure,about them, I'm just being truthful on how I feel about this situation there. at.Oar Street here in ****.******************************************************************************Review fromCindy Z

1 starOak Street Health in ****** and ******* is a very unreliable in terms of patient information and accuracy. An appointment was made for the Durham location. The appointment was made by phone with an Oak Street representative and it was made for today, February 13, 2023 at 12:40pm..Upon arrival, we were informed by a construction crew member that the facility was not even open!!!In the past my husband had an appointment with Oak Street Health, ******* location. He had some blood work done and has requested the results 6TIMES!!!! Every time he calls, he is promised that the results will go out to him It has been 3 months!!!Oak Street Health lies to patients!!!Review fromMae C

2 starsThis is strictly, about your current commercial. I hate the way a suave, 65yr old, is portrayed. I'm 73, here in ******, an open shirt like that, nono. He just needs to dial it back a notch, and button his shirt up.Terrible representation..
