Kemper is not wanting to pay for items that were stolen out of my storage unit. They stole $4,000 worth of items from me and they are saying the claim is being denied as the items were not located at my apartment but I paid for full coverage.Business Response

I have life insurance on my mother and my understanding was that I would pay for a certain amount of years and that was it. I had never received my policy information and I wanted to know how long I had to pay on the policies. I was told I would have to pay for the rest of my mother**;s life instead of 5-6 years like I originally understood. I feel like I was deceived. I told the agent I wanted to cancel and he began yelling at me saying if I cancelled it would mess up his pay and he told me to never call him again.Business Response

No one have not tried to call me and resolve the problem so I can’t agree to something that is a lie. They are not being honest when I tried to call them the first time no one didn’t respond and I tried to call today. Kemper is local an auto insurance company. They are very cheap and service is horrible. Their insured hit my car from the back and this company also called Infinity sent my car to get fixed and now they don't want to pay for the balance of the damages which is $1900 plus the owe me money for my car rental. Kemper is saying Crash Champions FT Lauderdale should eat the charges, Crash says is Kemper l the accident was NOT my fault but yet i will probably have to pay the balance myself. ***** picks up calls there, management does not care and this company should NOT be open for business. I really hope this helps but i am also only writing reviews everywhere to alert other people and will be seeking legal help. On 08/28/2024 I was in a car accident and total my car. The other car was speeding trying to get across a 6 lines intersection in-between a car right infant of me and my car. He drove too fast so I didn't have enough time to break and ended up hitting his truck. I was a company truck (Fontline) and I have been in contacted with the owner who told me he had report the incident on the same day. I file a claim with my insurance and they cleared me in a few days. However, with Kemper insurance, I have contacted them multiple times and they haven't done anything even though they said they were working on it. Below is in detail of my experience with them.Fri 8/30 late after. got miscall from Kemper 9/2 - 9/3 I called and left messages with Kemper but didn't hear from them Wed 9/4 I called and spoke with ******* from Kemper to go over the accident. He was trying to insult me during our conversation. At the end he told me he will call me in the afternoon to get the tow address. He never did. Sun 9/8 I called and left a message for ******* since I haven't heard from him. He did not return my call Fri 9/13 I called ******* again in the morning and he finally picked up. ******* said he talked to the driver and he is not on the company car insurance. He has been trying to contact the company owner to discuss the issue. ******* once again asked me about my car and said he will send someone to pick it up soon. He was the one who told me the address of the tow comp yet hasn't done anything.Mon 9/16 tow comp said my car was still there. I called ******* and he said he will get someone out to pick up today and that he hasn't got in contact with ********* owner. I messaged the owner and he said it was a lie. He called ******* but didn't get through Thu 9/18 ******* still hasn't send anyone to pick up my car and Frontline owner hasn't heard from him.the company seem shady and I need help to get them to resolve my claim.Business Response

I am having a problem with Kemper Life Insurance in receiving my Life Insurance Certificates. I have a $15,000.00 policy and a $5,000.00 policy. My payment is $182.00 monthly and was drafted from my bank account until June 2024 until I had Identity Theft issues with my card. From July to the present, my payments are used Via ******** ************ money order and sent Priority Mail Express costing $30.00 each time. This also appears on my monthly bank statement as Kemper Life and the amount. I have waited patiently for months. Mr. ****** the Insurance Agent at the time with his flirting self told me to send my Driver's License and that would be fine I needed to switch the beneficiaries around. I sent my ****************** ID. My DL is ugly. He said I'm cute. He finally tells me a couple of months it wasn't approved because my children have to sign. They didn't sign to get it. My daughter was in the house when Mr. **** asked for her ssn and my son texted his. Mr. ******* the Supervisor sends me a copy of the $15,000.00 policy with a $5,000.00 certificate. Apparently he doesn't know that I have the Original copies of my policy. I called the main office. I am asked to send a copy of my sscard. The number wasn't mine. Apparently it was changed somewhere. It is correct on my Original and the duplicate. It's in a nice large envelope. A small envelope arrives with a sticky note attached stating a duplicate policy. It had one page of my $15,000.00 policy and a application with everything incorrect. Neither of my children have Georgia numbers. They never have. We aren't from *******. My daughter's marriage name isn't *******. I moved out of her house. Who gave me a new ssn? I even spoke to *** at the *********** the second time who assured me that everything was sent. That was June. She had my PO Box correct. Where did it go? My physical address is on file. I sent Mr. ******* a ****** text last week. ************************** had to assist before. Policy matching the certificate. I have the Policy. The certificate was changed and correct. The beneficiaries were simply switched around. Mr. ***** is the one who told me to send my Driver's License and the certificate would be sent. Where's my $15, ******. Certificate? The nerve of someone to falsify my ssn and information on my application. I want my second certificate just as I received the first. Please send me a fax number and I can fax my documents to you.

I am rejecting this response because: I have received one email from Kemper and my concerns were not addressed. They were detailed in my complaint to the BBB and Kemper Life. I will be happy to fax my proof as that will be easier and it's too much to download. I just want want my $15,000.00 certificate just as I was sent the $5,000.00 certificate with the beneficiary change. That was the agents fault for making broken promises and whoever gave me a new ssn and new addresses as well as phone numbers for my children. The beneficiaries are the same. I just turned them around. My payment for October was mailed Priority yesterday. If this can't be resolved, I will be happy to take it further.

I am rejecting this response because: I have not received my Insurance Certificate for my $15,000.00 policy as of today.
It was supposedly mailed regular mail. I was told via email by ******* that if I did not receive it by today, November 8, 2024, to contact her and another would be sent.
This is the exact same thing that happened with the local office in ******** and I never received it. My information was changed on the application which was verified by ******* and I appreciate that.
I need my Certificate. If I can pay $30.00 to ensure that my payments arrive on time because I don't know my agent and I am a widow with a physical disability; surely a company such as Kemper can expedite such important documents to me due to the negligence of their agents in *********
I will appreciate your assistance in this matter until it is resolved.

I have been waiting patiently since May 2024 for this certificate. When it is received and my information that was changed, social security numbers and all on my application are corrected, at that time and only that time will this situation be resolved. No one had the right to change my social security number, my children's aren't listed, and the phone numbers changed. That shouldn't have happened.

I am rejecting this response not because: I have received the certificates for both policies. I sent paperwork to ******* regarding incorrect information on paperwork that was sent after contacting the BBB and receiving the $5,000.00 certificate with a $15,000.00 policy. ********* help has been beyond exceptional. However, my application that goes along with my Original Policy needs to be updated with the correct information that should NEVER have been changed to begin with and sent to me. I would like my payments to come out of my new Debit Card and to meet my Insurance agent. The most important concern is the application with policy. Prayerfully this will be resolved because it's not my fault that someone decided to change my information. Again, a very special thanks to ******* for her hard work and dedication.

I purchased a car insurance policy through Infinity Kemper with ***** ***** on the 3rd of September. I told them I would be driving delivery with **** while on the phone and he said that would raise the price of my policy. I accepted the price and I purchased and received a digital copy of my insurance cards. On September 4th they sent out a letter saying they were canceling my policy because they do not insure **** drivers. They then pulled out money from my bank account on the 5th of September. I received the letter of cancellation in the mail on the 9th or 10th of September. When I called about the cancellation they said even if I canceled on the 12th(the day I called) they wouldnt refund me my money completely just a quarter of what I spent because they said I was covered by their insurance. I called my bank and I am waiting for further investigation and a possible refund.Business Response

I reached out to my insurance because I was hit by a drunk driver on 5/12/24. My insurance had me pay out of pocket for my rental expenses and deductible and now will not reimburse me because they stated the adjuster ( ******* ********* ******************************************* did not submit everything properly. I was told by ****** ******** ****************************************** that I have to get my reimbursement on my own by contacting Geico. I am still owed $1,044.49 and Kemper will not reimburse this back to me after Geico has already sent 2 checks over to them in the amount of $6,012.47.Business Response

Back in 12/24/23 my brother was driving my Truck and was in a car accident, yes he was under the insurance. The report was made right away to the insurance and there was also a police report. Infinity sent someone in next couple days to do a quote on my truck. In a week i got a call from the insurance that the truck was not totaled that it was fixable. I got told by the Insurance that I had two options of Shops here in the ****************. One shop was in ***** and the other shop was in West Auto Collision in ************. I also got told by the Insurance that if I picked a different Shop I would be responsible for a 20percent, so I decided to go with West Auto Collision since it was closer to my home. ******************* sent a towing truck in less than 2 weeks to my home. The truck was picked up Jan 2024. I would call the Manager by the name of **** for Updates on how much longer until my truck was going to be ready. His excuse every time was we are just waiting on parts. I would go to the shop at least once a week and same excuse and I would see my truck parked the same as when it was picked up. Around the Month of July 2024 there is not a New Manager by the name of *******, **** was fired. Now ******* is giving me the same excuse they are still waiting on parts on the truck. I did call my insurance and would speak to ****** incharge of my case, Per ****** from Infinity just keep on checking there is nothing much that can be done. The last time I spoke to ****** 2 weeks ago she stated she recommends I get an attorney there is nothing they can do since the checks were sent to the ****************. I asked her if I may Please obtain a copy of checks that were sent to the ***************** and the checks have a date Jan 16, 2024 and Feb 23, 2024. The Shop has been payed, but the truck is still sitting in the shop. I asked my adjuster ****** ****** if they may please request to get the money back from the shop and I will take my truck to another shop. not enoughBusiness Response

Kemper Insurance auto adjust closed my collision claims without in person inspection.The adjust estimated the repair to be only rear bumper damaged.I ****** the vehicle into "non-preferred network" facility and found frame damange. They won't cancel policy and hang up on you when you try to then bill you for letting the policy expire and threaten to send you to collections if you don't pay.Business Response
