On 5/3/24 they canceled my insurance policy claiming they sent legal notice to my old address asked them why they sent to my old address they told me I never updated it although they have by the notes that I told them a year ago that I'm moving to a different address they even have the new one on file now they don't want to reinstate my policy claiming it's my problem that I didn't receive the notice!!!Business Response

I got rear ended by one of Kemper insurance clients on 3/20/2024, they accepted fault by the end of the week. Was told an estimate and check had been mailed to me from the adjuster, got the estimate $2600 and it was all used parts from a salvage yard. Going back and forth with the adjuster for the and he tells me my truck is used I get used parts. Got my own estimate done and it came out to $9400 before any hidden damage. Kemper does not feel like they need to pay full amount to get my truck fixed the right way, with new parts. My truck has never been in an accident and had no damage prior to this happeningBusiness Response

Kemper insures the other party involved in my car accident. I have left several messages to different adjusters (I have escalated to management) and there has been no reply. They do not call you back, and make it impossible to complete a claim. I have left more than 10 messages for a return phone call to complete the claim since my accident in December 2023.Business Response

Thank you for your attention and consideration during this challenging time. We have approached this claim as expected: filing with the insured's provider, selecting a repair shop, and facilitating a thorough inspection and teardown. Unfortunately, despite these efforts, we have encountered significant issues with Kemper Insurance that have contributed to unnecessary stress and financial burden.After the initial inspection, the repair shop reported the cost, but Kemper's actions have hindered progress. They initially claimed that an on-site inspection would be conducted to confirm the quote, yet no inspector appeared. Subsequently, Kemper debated the quote based solely on pictures, without a real inspection. Efforts to escalate the issue by reaching out to management were futile; Kemper provided incorrect contact numbers and failed to respond in a timely manner. This delay, caused entirely by Kemper's lack of cooperation and mismanagement, unfairly burdens me, the victim of the accident.Furthermore, Kemper has repeatedly blocked and delayed the repair of our vehicle, affecting even minor supplemental requests by the auto body shop over trivial amounts like $75. Additionally, their coverage only partially reimburses our prepaid rental expenses for a limited period. This situation has prolonged the repair process, and the vehicle remains unrepaired.We kindly request that Kemper expedite the reinspection of the damage and actively assist in moving the process forward. Our goal is straightforward: to have the vehicle repaired and to receive compensation for its diminished value so we can resolve this matter.We appreciate your immediate attention to these concerns.Business Response

I have been with this company at least for the last 3 years. Commercial, personal and SR22 policies. Just 1 accident, no response till a month and a half later and only offer $434 to my fix my work van. I try to cancel my personal policy 4/12/2024 they mention a refund of $90 dlls. Never received, instead they charge me the following month $319.60. They never have clear answers, agents never available. It's very frustrating.Business Response

I have a policy with Reliable Kemper Life Insurance Company. I gave my agent ********** **************** my $117.50 cash premium payment on March 1st 2024. Chrisantus **************** pocketed my cash and bought his kids groceries with my $117.50 premium. He collected the money and did not post it in my ledger. I complained to managers ******************* ************ and manager ********************* ************ ..corporate # ************.. they cursed me out using profanity on the phone. I need them to cancel my policy and Refund my $117.50. I made February payment on 2/22024 Chrisantus **************** didn't post it until 2/29/2024. He spent my cash. He stated the first premium had to be cash. ********** spent my February payment and spent my money until he could replace it at end of month. Chrisantus **************** never gave me a copy of my policy. He scribble all over my account ledger. Reliable Ke.per Life Insurance Company is a scam they prey on the senior citizens and disable and will not pay off in case of death. I had a policy with Reliable Kemper Life insurance last year but it lapse after 3 months. A driver insured by Kemper (dba Infinity Idemnity Insurance Company) failed to stop at a red light, and collided with our vehicle (Claim Number ***********.) After the repair, we received two appraisals which concluded that the value of our vehicle was diminished by $3000 as a result of the accident. Kemper has denied our diminished value claim, stating that its only responsibility was in repairing the vehicle. In addition, Kemper has not settled the personal injury claim to which they agreed. We have resisted in hiring an attorney, opting to try to settle this ourselves, but Kemper has not been dealing with us fairly.Business Response

I was involved in a car accident on December 15,2023. The other driver was found at fault and was issued the citation. I got in contact with his insured company Kemper. Upon contact I was instructed to submit photos of the damages caused by said driver. I submitted the photos and shortly after received a check in the amount of a little over $1200. No further contact from Kemper. I contacted them again and asked how are you sending payment based off pictures of damages and informed them o would be taking my vehicle to Classic Collision in ************* for and actual estimate of damages. I took my car on February 28th and my car has been there in pieces since. The collision center sent the actual cost of damages and repairs to the insurance company and they initially agreed on cost and then later recanted. Every time I attempt to contact the company I get no answers and excuses. Each company pointing the blame at one another. I am in a rental provided by Kemper but was just informed Monday by the rental company that Kemper did not extend the rental past 4/15/24 and that all additional charges are on me which is not fair as my vehicle is still sitting in pieces at Classic. They are trying to make me pay for damages when their driver was at fault. The insurance agent ***************************** hasnt been much assistance and when trying to reach her manager or supervisor they never contact me back. I would like for my car to be repaired and returned to me and for them to do their part and cover the cost incurred by their neglect driver.Business Response

Hi , I insured my vehicle through Karloz Registration and Insurance, in *********, **. They insured me with Kemper Auto. I then sold my Car and cancelled my service August 21, 2023. On November 21, 2023 I received a charge on my credit card for $155.89 of Kemper Auto Insurance and did not have a vehicle to insure. I called Karloz Registration and Insurance to assist with the refund and they tried all these months without success. I have exhausted all options and I given them plenty of time to refund my money .
