      My car was vandalized along with 2 other vehicles in my apartment complex, feb 19,2023 around 2 or 3 pm the neighbors came to see if I seen anyone around her car which was parked next to my car , I I told her no and then I walked out to see her car and noticed my hood and trunk was open as well as my door so I called 911 an officer came out and took a report which while we were waiting for an officer to come out the neighbor across from me cones out and says she seen this happen to our cars. So when police arrived we took the officer to the witnesses door so she could explain what she seen. The next day my home health aid helped me call my insurance due to a disability I am unstable at times due to medication. To make a long story kemper had my car from march investigating and came up with the conclusion my car was damaged prior to this vandalism which is not true because on feb 15,th I had my car at *** of ****** dealership to get a oil change and was told if my motor had water in the oil they would have made a note of that. Please help because Ive been pushed around by this company and feel discriminated against because Im disabled and unable to defend myself. They dont call or return calls from me or ******* auto center where they have my car currently now.

      I am rejecting this response because:
      They told me gas water sludge and metal was found in my motor. I told them I had my brother in law come after the police came to see if he could see if anything was put into my motor since while the police was their she advised me to move the car to a stall where my blink camera would be able to see it from my door , when I started the car it was so loud we though it was the Catalytic converter but was unsure because we never worked in a auto shop, it was unknown the loud sound its all in the police report. It was a lady officer and we couldnt see underneath the car. On feb 15 I took my car into ************* to get a service and nothing was found in my oil which lead me to believe this was done to my car February 19th 2023.

      Purchase Commercial Insurance because I drive for LYFT. Today, I contacted kemper to refer a friend. They informed me that they no longer issue Commercial insurance. They person that issue my original policy was notified that I seeking coverage for lyft. As I renewed it year I thought I had the same insurance. She informed me that I only had 3 months left. When she wrote my policy she lyft off Rideshare.My complaint is if I had an accident I would not have been covered.UNACCEPTABLE I WILL BE CALLING THE CORPORATE OFFICE.

      I had a car accident on 1/24/23 in which I was rear-ended by a Kemper Insurance client. They admitted their client was at fault and after much back & forth my car was put into the shop. Kemper paid for several damages, but one of the main pieces of damage, the rear bumper, was not replaced. After much runaround, they had me send more pictures and basically file again for the new bumper. In the end, they declined the bumper and decided not to speak to me without any reason. I understand they may not like me personally, but their client caused damage to my car and they are not covering that damage. I need your help to show them some reason and logic in this matter.

      I am rejecting this response because: before the accident that Kemper's client caused, the bumper was not discolored with crease marks - due to the result of the rear end accident the bumper was damaged beyond repair as it is discolored with crease marks as shown in the attached. 

      Furthermore, this is the first explanation I have received with the reason for only repairing the bumper and not replacing. The accident happened in January **** and it took BBB to intervene six months later to understand what is going on with my claim. The claim handler, *******************************, absolutely stalled throughout, did not respond to emails and voicemails, gave no explanation for declining my claims, attacked me verbally and took a personal vendetta against me as a person to deny my claim with no explanation. He was completely unprofessional with no urgency and lacks serious training on dealing with humans and knowledge on the Kemper process. 

      The simple matter is that the bumper still has cosmetic damages as shown in the pictures. These visible damages did not exist before the accident and were cause in direct result of the REAR END accident caused by Kemper's client, and will need to be replaced in full. It is not a matter of preference or functionality, it is a matter of making my vehicle the way it was prior to the rear end accident, which was cause by Kemper's client.

      I am rejecting this response because: 
      ID # ********- ******************** Corporation Hi BBB, This complaint should not be closed. I was not given the chance to respond to the insurance company's claims about a previous accident. First, the damage in question is on the left side of my bumper and Kemper references the right side. Second, those damages were fixed in full at ************* here in ****** and I have the receipts to prove it. Third, this was a major accident with three cars involved and my child in the car. Lastly, this is a matter of making the bumper like it was before the accident since I had it repaired and fixed in full before I was rear-ended by Kemper's client. My apologies for responding late, but this matter is not resolved as you have an insurance company hiding behind a previous accident and not paying for the damages their client caused. Do I need to take legal action since it does not seem BBB is on my side fighting for the consumer here? I should not have to argue to get my car fully fixed from an accident that wasn't my fault. -*************************** ************

      I am rejecting this response because:

      1. Kemper's client caused damage to the left side of my bumper, which continues to be discolored from the accident and needs to be replaced. Kemper continues to specify damages on the right side of my bumper, which was fixed Summer of 2022 as the receipt from ************* shows. 

      2. My bumper was brand new at the time of the accident as shown by the receipt from ************* where it was fixed in full the summer of 2022 before the accident with Kemper's client took place on January 24, 2023

      3. The damages Kemper mentions that were visible on June 14, 2023 are the damages from their client hitting my vehicle on January 24, 2023 - these damages that Kemper points out are in fact the damages that require a new bumper as cited by Kemper in their last response. 

      4. Please provide evidence that an appraiser inspected my vehicle on June 14, ***************** the last response

      Here are the facts and timeline:

      August-September 2022 --> Rav4 Bumper replaced at ************* - 100% repaired and new

      January 24, 2023 --> Kemper's client causes three car accident with damage to the left side of my Rav4 bumper

      Present Day --> While admitting responsibility for the accident and that there is still damage to my bumper, Kemper continues to deny my claim 

       

      BBB - please help here, someone needs to step in as the fault is clear and would be clear in any court

      The accident occurred on April 9, 2023?. The driver responsible for hitting my car was parked in the driveway of the home we both were visiting. As the driver left, she backed out of the driveway and hit my car which was parked directly across the street from the home. There was extensive damage done to the driver side of my car and we exchanged insurance information. The driver contacted her insurance company, **** on April 10, 2023.On April 10, 2023 I was contacted by ******** I spoke with ********, the **** adjuster from the other drivers insurance. ******** advised me that the driver had accepted all fault in the accident and to take my car to a repair shop and I could get a rental car. She said they would cover the cost to repair. I then took my car to Caliber Collision of ****** **. ******** also said they would cover the rental of a loaner car comparable to the make and model of my car, which is a SUV. I rented the loaner car from Enterprise on April ***** . I had had the rental from April 19 to April 21 when the repair estimate was provided to the driver's asjustor ******** from ****. On April 20, She called me to explain at fault driver did not have enough policy coverage to repair my vehicle. She then said I would need to go through my own insurance which is Kemper (now Infinity). ******** also told me I would need to return the rental car and go through my insurance for another car. Since I have no rental car coverage under my policy, ******** stated that **** will cover and reimburse me for my deductible and out of pocket expenses for the rental. However, I would need to return the rental and close their account in **** and open a new one for a rental in my name. I asked ******** to email me in writing what the company had agreed to pay for which she did. I have attached a copy of the email received. I returned the car to Enterprise on April 21 and was told I needed to pay $260 as a deposit for a 7-day rental because I could not afford pay any more than that for a longer period. When I returned to extend the rental, I was asked for another $560.00. Since I had a newborn who was 1 month old at the time, I needed a vehicle for my appointments and hers and had to borrow the money.******** from **** asked for my receipts which I sent. She also contacted my insurance and spoke with ****** to get permission to reimburse me for the $1000 deductible which he needed to sign off for so that they could do so. He never responded to give that permission until several days later when I contacted ****** who told me Its not our policy to waive the deductible. My husband would eventually pay it with his credit card directly to the body shop working on my car. ****** never authorized **** to pay the deductible on my behalf. I picked my car up from the body shop on May 9 and to date have not received reimbursement for my car rental or deductible from **** as promised due to some permissions they needed from my insurance adjustor ****** at Kemper/Infinity. I learned that my claim had changed adjustors at **** and my new adjustor is ******* who has been totally non-responsive. When I ask to speak with a manager, I am told at **** I cant have their number and at Kemper I am told someone will call me and I receive no call.It is now July and I have not received any reimbursement for my deductible or for rental fees as promised from ****. I am upset that approval must be provided from my insurance to pay my deductible and receive any payment due. I am asking that you intercede on my behalf to resolve this matter between **** and Kemper/Infinity for the release of my payment due.I am attaching copies of all emails sent or received to these insurance companies and receipts for monies paid.

      Kemper wrongfully denied an auto accident claim. I was in an auto accident 11/4/2022 with Kemper's client and they denied the claim stating they do not insure the vehicle. OBVIOUSLY they don't insure the vehicle, it's a "no-owners" policy which only gives liability coverage when in an accident and this policy follows the driver, and is set in place to cover auto damages . Their client has 2 ******* with T-coverage. I spoke with the dmv of CA and they stated Kemper is WRONG for not repairing my car.       I called to file a claim with Kemper. The agent advised me they accepted the claim and that I had coverage until 9/12/23. Later I get a letter denying coverage for my claim because they say that my police expired on 3/12/23. When I check my policy online and the documents it states I have coverage effective date 3/12/23 and expiration 9/12/23. I never got a cancellation notice or notice that I owed any money. Now I am unsure if they will cover my accident. Horrible customer service. I can clearly see my policy date effective 3/12/23.

      I am rejecting this response because:I called Kemper and I spoke to the manager. Upon checking my receipts of payment, I informed them the last payment taken from my credit card account was on 2/15/23 to renew the policy. They told me they received the 2/15 payment but that they didnt receive payments after the fact. I was still not notified that my insurance had been cancelled or not renewed. It should have been renewed as I did pay the amount asked for renewal on the date of 2/15.

      My car was rear ended while parked by a kemper auto insured driver at the beginning of June 2023. My insurance adjuster ************************* had refused to respond to calls regarding the status of my claim. My car has been in the shop for over two weeks at this point and the shop cannot fix my vehicle until kemper responds to them or I. I also never received an estimate to my email or physical copy to my address and my finance company will not endorse the check that Kemper sent until I can send them a copy of the estimate. I have been calling for a full month and cannot get a response nor can I get a hold of a supervisor.

      I was involved in a car accident in April and the car was deemed a total loss by Kemper insurance. I was put in touch with an adjuster - *************************** who asked for me to send some documents via email but have not heard back from her or her supervisor since June 28. I have left both messages via phone and email every other day to check in the status of my claim or the check I am entitled to receive based on the total loss but have not received a call back. Both *************************** and her supervisor *********************** have virtually ignored me. I have full coverage insurance but am not receiving the service or payout I am entitled too. Calling Kemper is a waste of time, as they simply forward my calls to both ****** and **** but offer no other help. My claim number is ***********.

      I have full coverage insurance with Kemper Infiniti auto insurance I pay $400 a month religiously so the time it came to use it and it has been nothing but a nightmare they under bid on my vehicle damage so none of the shops want to take my vehicle to have it fixed. I tried to call and reach out to my insurance adjuster, *******, and all he did was treat me like I was ignorant, belittle me, and then hang up on me just due to the whole fact that I had my back window broke out of my SUV and at the time my car wasnt running right so it needed to go back to the Acura dealer of Roseville where I purchased it and it extended warranty but when the insurance appraiser came out, she said for me to get the back window fixed after I have it sent back to Acura of Roseville and then once they got it running right then they will pay out to have my back window fixed so on and so forth so I did what the insurance appraiser advised me of doing and so when the tow truck driver came and got my vehicle he went to take it over 100 miles from my home to the dealer to get worked on porch, mechanical issues, and the weatherstripping from my back window being busted out actually started dangling and it ended up scraping the whole side and everything of my Acura SUV and so when I went there to pick it up from them mechanically working on it the main mechanic that worked on it said hey, I just want to show you this damage that occurred from when your vehicle is being transported and he gave me documentation on it and he said yeah just put that in with your insurance claim for the back window because they were already fixing it so I got all the documentation and everything and *******, my insurance agent said I had to file another claim I said right or wide to get that fixed. It should just be involved and included in the claim that I had. He then proceeded to talk to me like I was ignorant and call me names of some sort, then hang up on me .

      On 05/13/23 a client of Kemper Insurance crash her car on my parked **** ********************** at *************************** *********** ** ***** to no fault of my own. Reporting Agency Case # ****-41716. HSMV Crash Report # ********. A claim was filed the same day and consequently my car was declared total loss by their appraiser on scene. Claim #***********. In the following days it was Agreed during Phone calls. Text messaging and Written letters between me and Kemper Insurance Representatives to settle my loss at $7,725.53 and not a ***** less. A check was issued for $7,249.87 after the car title was sent and in their possession. A difference of $475.66. I considered this a dishonest and deceiving Business practice. I would greatly appreciate if the BBB help me meditate and solve this situation with Kemper Insurance for the exact amount that was agreed on. Thank You in advance for protecting consumers and the public.
