      Kemper has not paid for or fixed my car that was totaled by their unlicensed driver that was looking g for her phone. They dont answer calls and do not pay valid claims. Kemper auto insurance has left me without a car and not attempted to pay me fix my car or anything. They hang up on you if you do get them on The phone. Should be illegal to insure unlicensed drivers and not pay when they total innocent peoples cars. No justice. Am seeking to take legal action this is unacceptable.

      On 11/07/2022, I was involved in an accident. Their client was charged for the accident and issued a citation. When I called their insurance company, I was refered to a body shop who sent them the estimate. The adjuster for kemper claims he could not find liability of his client. This is crazy because I had to pay nearly *******, including a rental. The accident wasn't my fault. I've tried calling to get an explanation, but no one answer or I get the run around.

      This company is absolutely the worse. They web portal is not user friendly and the hire employees just to feel a seat. I had my car vandalized and got a claim. The only thing made fly was that I had a deductible. The day we got the claim number my husband had to make a payment and was told to add the rental insurance which I thought we had already. We also removed a vehicle from the policy . My daughter moved n now had her own insurance. They never removed her and our payment was based off that. They never pick up the phone just text or email. The only time a phone conversation is done is when they want to tell you your premium is about to cancel. Today after making a 300$plus payment they send a text and say we added rental car assistance after the claim therefore no rental for this time. Just rotten . The made the claim so they are only paying minimum above our deductible. Less that 200 dollars. Car was vandalized by *** theifs trying to use tutorial on Tik Tok. I see that you rank no 18 in being one of the worst carriers. I will campaign to tell everyone never to choose Kemper-Infinity Insurance. What about the monies you were charging for someone no longer on my policy. Rip Off company and on a rating of a 5, l am giving not even a full 1 star.

      Parked my car in neighborhood. Was hit by drunk uninsured driver. Insurance is current and has uninsured motorist. Insurance said they would cover, then refused and now won't return calls or answer. Damage for body alone is around ****. This does not include transmission and driving issues. The claim was filed October 28 2022.

      I have never been more ignored and completely belittled by an insurance company. As most college students do, i spend time with family in another state when on break. I unfortunately tolled my car 9/27/22. Kemper rightfully so did an internal investigation to confirm that i had not fully relocated at the time of the accident. My problem is that there was over 6 calls ; asking my mailing address, shipping address, home address, constantly jumping to conclusions with anything I said that they thought didn't match the narrative . They were quite literally doing everything to deny me coverage. The investigation took 6+ calls , even a signature required letter, even after all of this they STILL ASKED FOR MY TRAVEL INQUIRY. I was finally notified that they were going to provide coverage 10/27. I did not hear ANYTHING for over a month. I called and called and was IGNORED by the adjuster and their supervisor. During this entire time they have refused to let me cancel my policy , stating that they could DENY ME COVERAGE. I have been paying them for a car I NO LONGER HAVE. A car which I was not even able to take my personal items out of because they were stolen at their tow yard. I am writing this complaint because i feel like I should be entitled to a refund. When I finally spoke to someone on the phone 12/6 i was informed that up to that point not even a estimate had been done for my car. I should not be required to pay a monthly fee when i had completed my part of the investigation. I also recently found out that they have sent me to collections over $104 charge. My policy was never that low and i have absolutely no idea why they sent me to collections. I never received letters or any call about this. This company solely has caused anxiety, stress and my credit to be ruined.

      I was hit by a kemper customer. My adjuster, ********************* and her boss ***************************** have been entirely unhelpful and unresponsive. I was told that my claim was being paid for and a check was issued but nothing regarding a rental. When I tried to call to sort this out, no answer. Finally someone returned my call and said I was approved for three days of rental usage. When I dropped my truck off this morning, I was told there was no rental reservation in the system for me. Ive called kemper a dozen times and its a loop of ignorance. Do yourself a favor, and NEVER purchase insurance from this is institution for your own property. They are disorganized, they are non communicative, and they take zero pride in the work they do and how it affects the people they deal with. Horrible experience from the start. Im hoping to get the rental situation resolved but Ive little hope left for a positive outcome.

      On Wednesday, November 2nd, 2022, my daughter, the insured driver of the vehicle, which I own, called Kemper to file a claim regarding the stolen Catalytic Converter of our vehicle. On Monday, November 7th, 2022 Kemper adjustor sent an inspector to evaluate the damages on our vehicle where it was parked on the street. Due to heavy rain, the inspector mis-diagnosed and inaccurately evaluated the damages and did not inspect the most important part of this claim, which is the bottom of the vehicle for catalytic converter damages. After than more than 1 month of the vehicle being parked in the mechanic shop, the adjustor requested a 2nd inspector in which they deemed the vehicle a "total loss" and stated that they need my daughter to release the vehicle so that they can valuate it and that up to this point my daughter owes over $1,800 in shop storage fees to be deducted from the final valuation price of our car. Although my daughter released the vehicle for valuation on Thursday 12/12/2022 BEOB and they have not picked up since from repair shop. Therefore, the misdiagnosis and inaccurate evaluation on the first inspection (1) caused my daughter to be without a car for more than a month, (2) incurred more than $1,800 dollars in additional damages in terms of costs of the vehicle being at the repair facility, (3) and resulted in a month delay for her to understand that the vehicle was a "total loss" that directly will impact at a more expensive cost for buying a new car with the valuation amount as costs are increasing daily. Till this day, all communication has been me contacting the adjustor and chasing this insurance company in order to find a resolution without any formal documentation submitted by them to me. The document I am submitting was provided to me by the 2nd inspector himself upon direct contact with that individual. This mis-diagnosis at 1st inspection, mismanagement, and lack of customer service is appalling.

      I am rejecting this response because:

      I am rejecting the Kemper Auto Insurance response to BBB for the case number *******. This is the response I got yesterday after demonstrating to the insurance company that the documents were already provided by the repair facility (attach original and now) already on 11/30. However, it is my understanding that (1) they have already negotiated and paid off the repair facility so that amount is not in the settlement, but I do not see (1) 3x $340.04= 1,020.12 monthly payments I made since the date of loss toward my car payments )this should be paid to me because they should have determined total loss on the first inspection not the second and should have been included in payments to payoff car loan but due to insurance company negligence it wasnt.); (2) loss of use for 2+ months due to mishandling and delay of my claim amounting to (DOL 10/28/22 vehicle pickup from repair facility 1/3/23 amounting to 69days x $45 per day for comparable vehicle loss of use estimate = $3,105. These are the additional damages that need to be covered in order to settle with the insurance company; and (3) I disagree with a deduction of $1,524 due to alleged engine compartment condition, which I find super subjective. I hope to reach an amicable outcome with the above mentioned 3 demands based on damages as a result of the negligence of the insurance company for a total of $5,649.12 additional damages making the demanded final settlement amount $18,950.38= $24,599.50

      Claim # *********** Car was totaled in the month of August 2022. I was left with a remaining balance over 5k. I was informed by my finance company ******* they can do a 2nd appraisal to lower the balance or pay it off. According To ****** from ***** on 12/16/22 the 2nd appraisal was already completed. ****** also stated she's been trying to reach Infinity Insurance as well for the payoff check. No answer or return calls. I've been calling and getting nowhere. I've been receiving DMV paperwork requesting to register a car I no longer own or have! Infinity owns the car!! I can't move forward on purchasing another car. with this unpaid balance their ruining my credit.       I was in a minor car accident on October 25th 2022. I filed the claim immediately. My car was towed to the autoshop and they accessed the damage the next day. They had 2 different adjusters look at the photos before approving a low ball amount for repairs below industry standards. Finally after a month they approved the estimate. They sent me checks on November 29th that I paid to the auto shop. They voided the checks without telling me and my bank account is overdrawn over $3000. They said they sent checks to the auto shop and that was 2.5 weeks ago. They never call back. It is now December 15th with no resolution

      I am rejecting this response because: the insurnace company is trying to place blame in myself and the auto shop for the bounced checks. That is not the case. 

      I received an email from a ******* who was supposed to be my adjuster. She had let me the that the checks were mailed out. I received the checks on the 25th and tried to reach my adjuster multiple times with no response. They never reached back out via call or email to let me know they voided the checks. On November 30th I cashed the checks and paid the auto shop. I then checked my bank account on December 2nd while in disneyland only to see it was negative over $3000. I called the insurnace company and again could not reach my adjuster and continued to get their vm. They finally called me back on December 5th to tell me they voided the checks and paid the auto shop directly. This has caused so much financial hardship and the bank threatened to close our account! I couldn't even cash my checks or pay my bills because of the negative account balance.

      I request compensation for the pain and suffering they have caused and the huge overdraft that was a direct cause of their lack or communication. 

      I have emails **** the from the beginning of this trying to reach multiple people including multiple supervisors with absolutely no reply.

      Hello,I have an open claim with Kemper for an act of god - deer hit the car. I dropped my vehicle off at one of the few garages they would allow me to use. Which is also booked out, I was allowed a rental for 30 days only. Kemper has not even approved my claim yet for the auto body to start their work. It has been over a month. They also took a long time to even have an insurance adjuster come review the car. They now expect me to pay per day for a rental that I cant afford. I had to return it which is now causing an issue for my husband and I to get to work. I kindly asked Kemper since the delays in the work was on their end if I can at least have the rental covered for 30 days after my claim was fully approved by them for the shop to start the work. It is entirely not my fault that they did not handle their side efficiently and complete all tasks to move forward with the claim. They refused. I do not understand why ** being penalized for an insurance companys lack of ability to handle my claim in a timely manner. I will add Ive been a customer for many many years with multiple policies. I was forced to return the rental already with no alternative meanwhile my current claim is still NOT approved by Kemper. I really need another rental to replace this one. I also would like an ETA ASAP for when my claim will be fully processed so the garage can start their work.
