I had a car accident on 08/20/2022, which was triggered by insurance at the time of the accident (Claim number ***********). At the time of the accident, I had a bad service and help on the phone and the tow truck was not sent.It took 60 days for the repaired car to be delivered, only 30 days of car rental worth a maximum of $1,200 was authorized.Several e-mails were sent to: **************************************** (my case manager) and ************************ with ********* of expenses and about the reimbursement date (authorized) referring to: car rental, purchase from a nomo carseat, as there was damage, medical expenses for my son who was in the car and towing. So far they have not refunded, they do not even respond to emails, do not return calls, even leaving numerous messages throughout the process. Bad communication with the customer! We customers never know when the car will be ready through Kemper, when the refund will be made. The company does not move towards solving my problem. But all payments made to Kemper were always paid strictly on time!Business Response

I contacted Kemper Insurance as well as the broker AAA to cancel my car insurance with them on/around 10/14/22,10/17/22 and 10/18/22. I uploaded the attached document as requested by Kemper to show proof on new insurance. I received confirmation from AAA that this car insurance was closed. On 12/29/22 I noticed a withdrawal $442.26 from Kemper Insurance renewing a policy. They did not have written or verbal consent to do so and already had supporting documentation showing I already had insurance. I have tried to call their customer service lines which are terrible to get through too. I will have additional overdraft charges on my bank account due to this withdrawal. I want my money refunded for a policy I never asked for. The company will not confirm this will be taking care of.Business Response

A kemper adjuster has not returned any of my calls or voice-mails for months now. I don't know where to turn to get my car repaired since it was a kemper insurer driver who crashed onto me.Business Response

I was assigned ************************* as the adjuster for my claim dated October 25, 2022 regarding a hit and run on my vehicle. After a few days without a vehicle I went through my insurance as requested and refunds will reimbursed. Lies. Since having him as an adjuster he has been unprofessional and displayed lack of interest with assisting me during this process. He does not return calls nor emails. He has not displayed willingness to review my case nor answer questions regarding the claim. Today I reached my levels surpassed frustration with ******. He disconnected the call while I was still speaking. After I called backed he over talked me and very combative as if someone wronged him. I asked him to verify my address of file, he then proceeded to place me on hold came back and asked to provide the information. I also asked how long it would take to receive my reimbursement he acted as if he doesnt know. When I asked him how would the name appear on the check because it needs to reflect my name name. He stated it will be the owner of the vehicle. Instead Im the owner however my husband and my name is on the insurance policy. He stated whoever the vehicle is registered too name will appear on the check. This process has cause he hardship which is not fair to me. If the check comes out incorrectly with ********************* name on it and not *********************** I will use my last dime to *** for intentionally mishandling my case. Clearly he needs more training because there is a lot of information. I was told by **************** they will reimburse my additional fees and yet he is stating the company will and refuse to explain why when this was their insured fault.Business Response

I was hit by one of your insured customers on 12/6/22, and have called over 5 times to my adjuster, your customer service, and a supervisor. All I do is get the run around no one calls me back this is completely unacceptable. Todays date is 12/29/22 going on almost a month and still no one has contacted me. They have told me that a supervisor was going to call me and never called me. *** asked for a rental car and they have not allowed me. My wife and purchased a Kemper Auto Insurance policy on our two cars. The Pandemic left my wife and I homeless for three years we currently are with a home but only for the last four months. Being homeless exposed may wife and I to the streets of *********** as a result we have suffered great hardship but nothing like what Kemper and there representatives have done. They have conspired to not make payment on several claims that through no fault of our we had to file as we suffered losses that should have been covered by our auto insurance. specifically the claim regarding our Jeep Compass 2014 which had been stolen twice within a time span of one month. Kemper has had our claims investigated and they have stated they are not paying for our loss My wife and I are 65 yrs. plus in age. Have better things to do than lie about anything. My wife is disabled and I have recently been diagnosed with early onset dementia which has not affected my driving skills but I am now under threat of losing my driving privilege this because of a report lodged by some entity of unknown origin I suspect Kemper did this Our claim ******** 485. The problem is our Jeep was hit prior to these thefts by an elderly woman in the parking lot of a *********** I submitted a claim Kemper paid $1000.00 of a $2800.00 damage . The car was then stolen twice by unrelated groups the first theft no damage but the second one caused additional damage to the car. Kemper has accused me of fraud stating that they already paid me for the damage. Which the only paid a thousand dollars of Kemper claims there is no additional damage aside from a cracked windshield and the damage which was not repaired when the car was stolen the second time and incurred additional damage to the exact same area it was damaged at before. Either Kemper owes me for the difference in repair costs $2800.00-1000.00 = ******* plus a new windshield $1000.00 plus floor **** of ****** plus one set of keys ****** bringing this total to $3,135.Business Response

I purchased a Life insurance Policy for my daughter in June 2, 2022 for the first month premium. I did not receive a policy ***** July, and August. I paid ***** per month for ***** July and August. I never received my policy. I have called requesting my policy in September and at the same time I was requesting my money back because I never received my policy. 12/6/2022 my car was hit air bags deployed car is totaled. The driver was on her cell phone and speeding Through a turning yellow light and crashed into my car Upon crashing according to witnesses she never once stepped on her brakes (no tire marks) to slow down and even after hitting me she continued to speed away but couldn't because my bumper was stuck underneath her car the insurance company states that she's not insured thru them, but yet I have a paper that says she is insured through them and there is no liability but I never can get in touch with any of the agents no one's recorded my statement nothing is happening no one responds to my calls.Business Response

On October 18 2022, I was in a vehicle accident that ended up totaling my car. The insurance company has been dodging all of my calls and voicemails. They have not return any calls regarding my claim . I have left multiple voicemails and sent multiple emails. ****************** Services let me know that they have also been trying since November 18th 2022. It is impossible to get a hold of anyone at Kemper insurance. This is causing a lot of distress because I don't have any transportation to take my kids to their doctors appointment or drop them off at school or to get around to find me a new job by Infinity for the total loss. When I do try to call Kemper they transfer me or hang up on me. It is terrible and very distressful. There is no empathy from this company , they are not able to assist me. All they need to do is send the proper documents, today I called again and left another voicemail. This company is terrible to work with and has no ethics. Applied for whole life insurance on 10/04/2022. Paid $78.50 for policy. Received two letters informing me that my application was denied, letters was dated October 13, 2022. Kemper waited until November 4, 2022, to cash my check, after denying my insurance application which was totally illegal. They have not refunded my fees that I paid for the policy and are acting stupid to the fact. I have contacted them on several occasions for my refund, to no avail.
