On September 23 2022, I was in a vehicle accident that ended up totaling my car. The insurance company has been dodging all of my calls and voicemails. They sent a check out to my lien holder and are failing to provide the legal documents so that the lien holder can process the check. I have left multiple voicemails and sent multiple emails. ****************** Services let me know that they have also been trying since October 18th 2022. It is impossible to get a hold of anyone at Kemper insurance. This is causing a lot of distress because I have to continue to pay my totaled car's payment until the check is cleared by Infinity for the total loss. When I do try to call Kemper they transfer me or hang up on me. It is terrible and very distressful. I had to ask my bank to give me time to pay my new car payment because of this. It has accrued interest that I have to pay in January 2023. There is no empathy from this company for it's customers, I have been loyal for years and the one time I need them, they are not able to assist me. All they need to do is send the proper documents, today I called again and left another voicemail. This company is terrible to work with and has no ethics. I purchased car insurance from Kemper approximately 5 years ago. I told the broker I had a business. I drive to pet sitting jobs during the day. They sold me personal insurance. He said because Im not transporting goods for services, people in my car or animals it would be fine. On Nov. 25, 2022 I was in a accident. I was at fault which is not what I am disputing. Kemper has denied my claim. My deductible is $1,000 & rental car up to $900. The reason they denied my claim is I was on my way to a job and they said I do not have the proper insurance for that. I have insurance for my business that includes coverage in the event I am transporting animals in my car and they are injured. I contacted my business insurance regarding my accident and they informed me unless my car was registered to my business and I was a corporation or LLC they do not insure cars for business purposes. I got a estimate for my car repairs, it was $6,700 which would take 2-3 weeks in which Id have to rent a car. My cost for repairs & a rental would total ******. I bought my insurance trusting this company in the safety of myself and my business. I am a small business not a company or corporation. I have written a formal complaint with the ********** commissioner of insurance. I will talk to a paralegal for any further actions I can take. All I want is for them to honor the insurance they sold me.Business Response

i filed a claim (***********) due to their insureds at fault accident on 08/15/2022. *********************** was initially whom i spoke and sent pictures to. then, ******** my adjuster called on 09/5/2022 @ 3:45 pm ( hetheir insured driver) accepted/admitted fault/reponsibility and my body shop was authorized and they would pay the claim..therefore, my body shop proceeded on repairs (they would have never if they did not have authorization from them!) i then asked for rental-they denied and were very disrespectful and intentional in their delays and availability to me! then, i get notice via usmail on 09/14/2022 stating they are not paying claim!!! i contacted and they stated that " I had control of the intersection that their insured ran the red light...I HAD RIGHT OF WAY! He admitted! it has now been almost four months now, i have had many set backs and diffaculties due to their unprofessional , irresponsible , fraudulant ,intentional deception! i do not have money to repair my car damages that their insured caused. please assist meBusiness Response

I am rejecting this response because:they are not stating the truth... I DID NOT STATE THAT I PROCEEDED FROM A COMPLETE STOP! FALSE! i stated that there are two traffic lights on 28th str. one before you crossover I35 and the one where accident occured, after you cross i35! when the first signal changes...the second signal(accident site) changes within approximately 30 seconds or so! i had a green light on the first...proceeded across bridge and he was not there! i then did one last check(visual scan) as i approached my second green light approximately ***** seconds later(as these two lights CHANGE IN Sequence)! txdot nor **************** would never allow my 1st light to be green then halt heavy traffic on that bridge!!!! saying... i had already accelerated to ***** mph by the time i approached the light where accident occured. their insured! I DID NOT LUNGE OUT FROM A STOPPED POSITION, I WAS IN MOTION FOLLOWING ALL LAWS! I AM A VERY CAUTIOUS DRIVER AND EXTREMELY AWARE OF ALL MY SURROUNDINGS-ALL OF THE TIME!They are not telling the truth, again! they stated that he (their insured)had admitted fault and they in turn approved/accepted responsibility...then they started back tracking,deceiving,manipulating, creating their own version! I DID NOT EVER STATE THAT I PROCEEDED THROUGH INTERSECTION FROM A STOPPED POSITION! I STATED FROM THE GET GO THAT "MY LIGHTS-BOTH LIGHTS WERE GREEN... ,WORKING AS THEY SHOULD TO KEEP TRAFFIC FLOWING! the data from my jaguar shows the truth! believe me, I WILL NOT LET THIS GO, I HAVE THE TIME,WILL,DETERMINATION, and RESOLVE TO FOLLOW THROUGH and I WILL! On December 7th of 2021, I was involved in an automobile accident. The person at fault had Kemper Auto Insurance. Kemper contacted me directly about settling the claim. I submitted all photos of the damages, and they sent me a check for the repairs eventually. I deposited this check on August 19th, 2022 to pay for repairs to my rear bumper. On August 24th, 2022 the check from Kemper bounced and was returned from my checking account along with my bank charging a 30 dollar return fee. I have reached out numerous times via phone call and email to Kemper Insurance and the claims agent (***************************) assigned to me. I have not received a single response in several months and still do not have any funds to make the necessary repairs. Not only did their funds not clear but I was charged 30 dollars for the check bouncing. I would like my funds from the claim plus reimbursement for the fees. On August 18, 2022, I was involved in an accident with a Kemper Insurance customer for which ******************** has accepted full liability. After sending out an appraiser who assessed the damages to my motorcycle, I received an estimate for which my lawyer said Kemper would mail a check on October 21, 2022. 4 weeks later, when the check didn't arrive I contacted my lawyer on November 17, 2022, and it was relayed to me that Kemper had to reissue the check due to there being no signature on the original. Since then my lawyer has not been able to reach the adjuster *************************** for the status of the reissued check. I have contacted the corporate office regarding ******************** recent unavailability and the phone was never answered.Business Response

Kemper insurance has made it impossible to contact a human agent. I have called left messages giving claim number my name my phone number. I have emailed Joy sample, with no response for almost a month. My truck was totalled 10-25-2022. I have not received one phone call from kemper or my agent. The only way they have chosen to communicate with me is through snail mail. I pay for a ****** dollar damage to property policy. And they are not trying to payout appropriately. The secretary's won't do anything but ask 25 identity questions then send you to voice-mail again. When you get frustrated they laugh at you and tell you to be more professional. Lol professional isn't something kemper knows anything about and it shows terribly. I have been without a vehicle for a month and have no idea when I will be able to get this settled. Please help me in this situation if you can. But at least I wanted to express how Terrible I have been treated from day one of my accident. I should never be made to feel like this from someone I pay. And have paid for 3 years on time and top tier full coverage. And now I'm treated like I owe them.Business Response

I am rejecting this response because: I pay for premium full coverage that covers my vehicle damage for ******. Kemper is refusing to pay more than ******. I owe ****** on my vehicle. I can't even pay off my damaged truck with that. Kemper needs to honor the ****** policy that i have been paying on for more than three years. This is ridiculousl. I expect the policy to be honored.

Kemper insurance company not paying me full dollar for rental.My car was hit by one of their insured. Kemper said I can rent a car while it is being fixed. After a little over a month, I submitted my bill and Kemper is tell me they can only pay for 24 days. So instead of receiving **** I am only getting 900. I kept emailed him after a while and said the car is still being fixed and not once did, he mention we will only cover to a certain point. He said we had a conversation why would I not have a document stating that or me knowing that we had one I would have told the collision company to rush it.I emailed him this morning and that is the best he can do from his emailBusiness Response

Date of the transaction: July 2021-June 2022 Amount of money paid to business: $1288.54 The business provided Full coverage insurance on 2008 **** Ranger They were taking money out of my account with out my consent, I found out because I closed my bank account and a Kemper representative reached out to me. She stated that they were going to cancel my insurance, and I already was insured by ***************** Insurance.I was insured with Kemper back in 2016, and I cancelled my insurance with them since. I have reached out to Kemper Insurance, and they said they sent me to collections. But I have been insured with another company since March 8, 2019. Why would Kemper be charging me since 2021? *** reached out and tried to speak to many people and no one has tried to help get my refund. On May 12th 2022 I was in an at fault accident. The claim was submitted through Kemper Insurance. My policy # is ***********. In the claim (#***********) there was not any claim of bodily injury from any of the parties involved. Now, I am advised that my driving record claims this accident in May 22 included bodily injury. I have a letter from a Kemper adjuster (***************) stating there was no bodily injury in this accident but the adjuster will not remove the claim from my record and refuses to review my insurance premium. Kemper has also claimed in Jan 2022 there was a payout of less than $1000. Multiple agents have reviewed this and see the $0 payout (But it still shows as a claim to other companies and affects the rate negatively) Kemper openly admits there was never a payout, but I am now being provided with an e-mail for an adjuster (which does not work for the company any longer) for further assistance. Kemper refuses to correct the 2 false claims reported on my driving record reported by their company. They refuse to review my driving record completely either. I cannot find an resolution for this issue and have been refused contact information for further escalation into the company. These 2 inaccurate claims are negatively impacting my driving record causing my rates for car insurance to be extremely raised. Other companies provide elevated quotes also due to the inaccurate claims. I have already paid $775.19 on 6 month insurance plan which was priced to include these inaccurate claims. I believe this company needs to rectify this mistake and fix the false claims on my record. Please advise.Business Response
