I was in an accident on august 14 and have not been able to communicate with my insurance Kemper for some reason. *** called multiple times and left voicemails and emails given them all my information. They keep sending me letters in the mail saying that I have not complied and that they will cancel my insurance for noncompliance even though Ive reached out numerous times and have evidence to prove as much. If you want cheap insurance go somewhere else. These people are not professional whatsoever.Business Response

I got rear ended by a client from this insurance company on December 11, 2021. I have been trying to reach out multiple times in order to get information back on my insurance claim from my injuries and have not heard back for several months Ive had to re-file my insurance claim after several months due to an employee being let go (*****************************) and everything has just gone downhill from there every single time I call I get put to a voicemail and do not get anything back. Just because Kemper replied doesn't mean they offered anything. In my opinion, your accept/reject statements are flawed; it needs an option to offer a client an "in progress" response. Or, simply allow clients more time to respond to your accept/reject question.This policy was purchased back in the 80s & there's no stance beyond the need for Kemper to payout the double indemnity on the Accidental Death benefit - which I learned about from Kemper. I'VE BEEN TOLD I'VE GOTTA SIGN A CLAIM FORM DESPITE THE **** I'M NOT AN INTERESTED PARTY &/OR BENEFICIARY ON THIS LIFE POLICY & WON'T SAY WHY.KEMPER IS DELAYING THE BURIAL OF MY BROTHER WHO DIED TWO MONTHS AGO! WE HAD SVC FOR HIM NOV 18th & KEMPER IS WITHHOLDING HALF THE POLICY AMOUNT WITHOUT JUSTIFICATION SAYING THEY'RE INVESTIGATING THE MATTER. LAPD INVESTIGATED & CLOSED CASE IN OCT. My name is ***********************. My claim number is ***********. My date of loss was 8/5/2022. *************************** is the claims adjuster handling the claim. I am writing to bring attention to the mishandling of my claim, specifically the refusal to fully compensate my rental expenses incurred while my vehicle was being repaired. *******************************, Kemper appraiser, failed to expedite the handling of my claim. His delays caused additional rental charges as the collision center would not release my vehicle until payment and the correct paperwork submission was settled. My vehicle was dropped off at the collision center on 10/04/2022. The repairs were completed on 10/21/2022. ************************ did not submit the final paperwork and payment until 11/03/2022. Kemper does not want to fully reimburse me because of his unprofessionalism. Where is the integrity? Moreover, the delay was over a difference of less than $25.00 which Kemper finally paid on 11/03/2022.I am asking that we get this situation resolved and I am reimbursed the full $883.65.Business Response

In or around April or may of 2022 I was involved in a accident with one of Kempers insured at that time I filed a complaint and insurance claim with kemper and kemper acknowledged the wrong doing and then retracted it to tell me they find me to be at fault with no factual evidence... My vehicle was vandalized in April I contacted my insurance to file the claim immediately. I had just had a baby a little over a month prior so knowing my insurance was now involved gave me a huge relief since I was getting very little sleep as it was and did not need another stress added. Filing the claim was easy enough I was very Thorough with the agent because I know all the details really matter in a claim like this. After filing the claim everything has just been a nightmare. My vehicle has been to five different repair shops and it is now seven months later and my vehicle has still not been repaired and speaking with Kemper has gotten me absolutely nowhere. Initially they stated when the claim was filed the third-party person they sent to inspect my vehicle at the first repair shop came back with my vehicle only needing a diagnostic so therefore the claim was closed keep in mind my vehicle was undrivable and would shake terribly and smoke when I would turn it on so hearing that it only needed a diagnostic was just completely shocking to me because my vehicle was still at the shop not drivable. After re-opening the claim with the adjuster it went to another shop and after two months finally repairs were approved to start with complete fuel system replacement. after a week of the approval and check issuedI was contacted by Kemper stating they voided the check which I had already cashed . When asked why for the reasoning they stated they had to complete an investigation before approving anything! I was devastated because I had been in a rental vehicle for over 3 months with no reimbursement and keep in mind I was never told my policy only covered 30 days of reimbursement. I have escalated this to upper management and no resolution has been made my vehicle has a snapped piston and needs an engine replacement which Kemper stated is not vandalism yet my vehicle had no issues prior. I need my vehicle fixed and returned ASAP this has been a complete nightmareBusiness Response

On 8/10/2022 I was hit by a car that was insured under Kemper insurance. I was supposed to get reimbursed for all the damage done and my rental car expense . I have not received any $ for my rental car expense , $867.59 . I have repeatedly requested ********************* from Kemper insurance. He sent me a release form for me to sign , which I refused , because I haven't been reimbursed for my rental . And it was wrong had my date of loss on 5/22/2022 . I have all the documentation in my email . I have the receipt for the rental car from Enterprise, and two different replies from ********************* , both were wrong and I refuse to sign fraudulent statements and release forms . We had a claim filed with Kemper Auto **********. In early October, the adjuster stopped answering our emails or calls. We tried to contact her supervisor, but that call also went unanswered. Five weeks later, after many emails and phone calls to find out what is going on or who we can contact, we learned that the old adjuster was no longer with the company and we have a new adjuster. The new adjuster told us that she cannot give us a full reimbursement on our car rental because we had a damage waiver on our car rental and Kemper doesn't reimburse damage waiver on the auto rental policy. However, this is exactly what we had asked our adjuster about - whether or not we can have the damage waiver on our auto rental - and this was the email that went unanswered for five weeks. Had Kemper responded as they should have and let us know that they don't reimburse for damage waivers, we would not have gotten it. Now we are out $500 of our money and Kemper won't reimburse us. We would like to be reimbursed for this. I should also add that Kemper has once again stopped responding to our calls and emails. My wife and I were gifted an american express gift card for our wedding. I attempted to use it for the first time and it show insufficient balance. Upon checking the balance and inquiring with AMEX, it appears the card was hacked. A payment was made to Infinity (Kemper Corp) for the full balance ($1000) of the gift card, I did not make this payment. I have reached out several times via telephone and most recently via email but did not get this issue resolved. I would like this amount reimbursed to me, as I did not make this payment and have no association with Kemper/Infinity. The transaction was made on 1 Februrary 2022, transaction ID is O200228F974B. I would greatly appreciate a response and assistance to get this issue resolved and my money reimbursed. I do not want it credited back to the gift card, for obvious reasons, as it is compromised. The last four digits on the gift card is ****. I am requesting that Kemper reimburse me and pursue the account and whoever used this gift card number. I have already spoken to AMEX and the only way to resolve this is through the merchant. I will file a police report if necessary. Please help me to resolve this issue without any further delay

A Kemper Insurance insured hit my vehicle. I filled a claim and provided all the information the adjust *********************** requested. *** attempted to reach her and her Superbisor ******************************* via email and phone.
