My new car was hit purposely on the highway by kempers insured and they are not working with me to get my car back to pre-accident condition. Accident happen October 23rd 2021 and now we are in November of 2022. No repair shops working with this insurance. Claim is neglected and customer service rep is rude and unhelpful.Business Response

To Whom It May ********* had a Kemper Insurance policy for my automobile, I bought a new automobile and submitted information to my insurance agent. The renewal was processed, and I was on auto draft for 10 months before I reached out to company to change bank account information due to getting a new checking account. Upon talking to customer service, I was informed that the policy I had been paying on for the last 10 months was for my old vehicle which I no longer owned. When questioning then agent and the company no one could give me a straight answer on why my old vehicle had defaulted in their system and I have paid for 10 months of insurance on a vehicle I did not own. Thankfully no accident or issue occurred during that time frame but if it had I would not have been covered despite the fact I was paying for a policy. When asking the customer service to cancel my policy i was told I had to go throw my insurance agent at Gooshead insurance. I proceeded to contact my agent and cancel the policy immediately. I have yet been sent a collection letter for ***** saying I owe them for coverage. I refuse to pay a company who I already lost over a **** for coverage I never had because their system defaulted my vehicle information. If anything, I should receive a full refund for the coverage I never had. However, I am a nurse and I do not have time to process this type of claim however I do not want anyone else to be put in the same situation as me with paying for coverage they never received. I also want the company to drop this ***** for the fact I will not pay for anymore false coverage. Insurance on your automobile is important if I would have not called to change my bank account information who knows how long I would have been paying for coverage on a car that I do not own. I am rejecting this response because: The correct vehicle was never changed; the payment was canceled and supposed policy was canceled, I resumed coverage with Allstate. I am rejecting this idea that coverage would be in place; my potential safety and vehicle was put in jeopardy through Kemper and Goosehead Insurance Brokerage by negligence in administrative duties outlined by such state license requirements. I request a full amount credit totaling $75.00 and that my name and referenced total be corrected and removed from all collection agencies reported and Kemper accounting. Date of Accident: 7/30/2022 Location of Accident: *********************************************************************************************** parking lot My boyfriend and I went to chick fil a to have lunch before picking up my sister from work we went to the quick quack car wash to throw away our trash my boyfriend got into the vehicle got ourselves together before taking off my boyfriend reversed from the parking spot made sure there was no one behind him we have already pulled out the parking spot to put it in drive when all of a sudden some guy smashes into us literally smash into the back of the vehicle he gets out very apologetic saying its his fault which it was I have video proof I took this information to the insurance I get a call a few days later saying the guy said it was our fault so he was playing the blame game the insurance said i was going to give the guy 80% of the blame and 20% ours but that doesnt make any sense at all I had to get a legal team for this inconvenience Kemper insurance is the most unprofessional, irresponsible, delayed Company I have ever encountered they take there time to get a hold of you they had hung up on my lawyer and gave attitude what company lets employees do that I will never get Kemper insurance again its been three months of this and ongoing I really need help with this inconvenienceBusiness Response

I am rejecting this response because: my boyfriend checked his surroundings made sure no one was going then proceeded the man in the blue truck was upset due to the car wash having maintenance and reverse out of anger 20% accountability dose not sit right with us their were two other witnesses at the scene that said the same thing as I am telling you. Kemper you guys are very unprofessional You guys havent even contacted any of us you guys wanted to rush me to take up the offer when I didnt feel that it was right no one even came out to look at the vehicle or anything that goes to show on how you guys care about your customers

I thank you for even letting people get their point across my mother is almost back to normal and keeps tell me to do something they can't just do nothing about my things I work so hard for! This started August 5th which I believe was a Thursday my son had to be in Iowa to check in to his freshman year of college he plays ball so students had to check in by 8am friday! We were pack and on the road by 2:30pm or 3pm Thursday. Took the whole family my mother is disabled and she wanted to go see the boy off to ***************************** and his wife followed behind! Long story short had fun I've never had a vacation so taking my only child to collage was a blessing and 18 hrs later we get to campus right on time! Coach and fan towns people all help move him in. I don't stay to meet and greet, I talk to coaches and they say I'm welcome to go they got him I cried and got back in the van for the long ride back mind you im the driver there and back so I'm beat! Get home Saturday morning around 5am or so to both front and side door open so I get my firearm out the van as I call for a Sheriff! I do not even try to go in I wait on the police to come! They come and we go in together little mess some glass broke different things but they are clearing the house making sure no one still there I believe. One officer I walk with walks around the building looking for I don't know what but finds broke or just busted window! I keep sticks in the windows you can see this stick had been knocked out I think he makes note and gives me a card and they leave! I'm sure I called my insurance the next morning! I been having insurance for 6 or 7 maybe 8 years and never thought these people that take my money and smile to make sure they get paid would never do their jobs at all! ************************* is the sale manager and was the man picking up my payment! Ive been dealing with kemper insurance since I was hit by one of there insured drivers. Its been about a month since Ive had contact with them. Im almost 3 grand in debt from the rental vehicle. Several attempts have been made to contact adjuster and said adjusters manager. *** left voicemails, emails, and texts as well. I was told I was going to be reimbursed fully for all costs that occurred on my part. This is the worst service Ive experienced from any car insurance. I was hit by one of there customers on Sept. 25 called to report to the company talked to an adjuster who stated the other party admitted fault. He then gave me a link to submit photos of car I submitted photos did not hear from adjuster for 3 weeks I called to get an update he told me pics were rejected so resubmitted he photos on October 13th and was told I would receive payment on oct 17th. I reached out on the 17th and he told me he was not the person how provided estimates I have placed multiple calls and e mails to my adjuster and his supervisor with no response Claim # ***********Business Response

This is an insurance company that has excepted liability and responsibility for their insured hitting me. I totally understand that they have standard operating procedures. I asked the company to provide me with information for their rental car policy I was denied I asked to speak with a supervisor I was denied and then I had to wait three weeks. In addition to that the agent who was helping me and her manager ********************* and ****************************** Have been rude to me from the beginning been very assumptive in very unsympathetic towards the fact that I just had a child that was born premature. I would like for somebody to reach out to me so that we can discuss this matter. And come to a proper resolution as I have lost money due to this claim.Business Response

Kemper Auto Insurance is the company I have to insure my 2019 ********** Mirage. On 8/8/2022, I was hit from behind. I immediately called to file a claim. The representative took my information and said an adjustor will contact me within ***** hours. After 3-days I called to follow up. The first representative that finally called couldn't find my information as the intake representative did not properly document my information. After some discussion, I was advised that Kemper's sister company United Alliance would be processing my claims, meaning I would be filing a claim against the person who hit me, insurance. I was advised to make an appointment with the body shop, which I did for 8/19. At that point the body shop stated my results will be sent to insurance company within 48 hours. I waited a week and called insurance company-which they said they didn't receive results. Two days later I received a text message stating results were in. By 9/7, I still had not received my assessment of damages so I emailed asking for a status. That week I received a letter with a breakdown of the damages of cost to fix. The letter stated a check was included, which there was not. I called and asked about this and was told by ******* a check should have been included. He said he would speak with my adjustor andhave her process a new check. A week later for follow up I find out the check was mailed to the wrong address. They cancelled that check. I call again a week later to find out they never reissued the check. By 9/30 I was advised a new check was mailed and I would receive it within **** days. Today, 10/17 and I have not received the insurance check. I call and I am constantly sent to voicemails or promised a return call. The only person to actually assist me is *******, who isn't my adjustor. I have Kemper for my own insurance so it perplexes me they would send payment to an incorrect address. I need help with getting the money for my claim. I would love to switch insurance.Business Response

On October 14 2022 I spoke with my insurance agent ********************************* and authorized her to debit my account for 2 months of my life insurance payments which was for Aug 2022 and September 2022. Texted her my debit information...in which I normally call in my payment but I was busy at work so I authorized her to debit the 2 payment which were $55 a month for a total of $110 and I would pay Oct payment on Oct 28th. Which I have every text to verify our conversation. ********************************* debit my account for $165...which is 3 months of payment. In which Oct was not delinquent. She took it upon herself to make an unauthorized debit which put my account in the negative. I need to be compensated for the unauthorized debit and for my overdraft fees.
