I pay for full coverage auto insurance. They are advising me that since my son is not a driver noted on my policy they will not cover my collision damage. This information was never revealed to prior to my policy and I found out they do not cover theft. This is not full coverage if they are not going to fully cover my auto and can pick and choose when to cover my damages.Business Response

I am rejecting this response because: it was never disclosed to me that household members would not be covered. I am also concerned that my full coverage does not include theft. This goes back to the issue of the definition of auto insurance not drivers insurance and I believe that your clause is voided since my car coverage is what I pay for and not driver's insurance. I am still expecting this to be covered by the insurance policy that I pay for. Regardless of who was driving. No one ever explained that anyone not listed would not be covered therefore this is a breach of contract since it was not disclosed at the time or back in September when my son had his first accident. Listen to your recorded messages from that conversation.

I am rejecting this response because: My complaint has not been resolved. The insurance company has went silent. I am seeking an attorney to assist. In ********** the insurance follows the vehicle and not the driver. My car should be covered for repairs under this law. I believe Kemper is in breach of the policy per California law.

Failure of Kemper Insurance to reimburse me for rental car. I was involved in an accident. My car was repaired. I submitted an invoice ( as requested) for rental car reimbursement. Some confusion by insurance company. I dealt with the confusion. I've been trying for a month to recover my put of pocket expense.Business Response

They are telling me that one of my policies has lapsed. At first she said it is my policy. I went by there and the *** said it is my daughter**;s policy that lapsed. I told her I need it in writing the when the policy lapsed and why it lapsed. She said I was 2 months but at first they said I was 3 months ( Sept., Oct., and Nov.) behind. She asked for me to bring in my bank statement and I told her no. I asked them to prove to me what made my daughter**;s policy to lapse. To date, they have told me that my daughter**;s policy has lapsed. I would like for them to reinstate my daughter**;s policy.Business Response

On 9-20-24 Infinity Insurance stated they attempted to debt $196.12 from my WF checking acct ending #**** . There is no record of this according to my ********* bank statements. ******** stated there were insufficient funds in my account #**** so payment was declined . There is no record of any declines to my account . I did not not have knowledge of this until 10-3-24 when I picked up my mail from the ************ *********** in ***************. I am in the middle of moving so my mail was on hold . I received a letter from Kemper which I had NEVER heard of & it stated I had until end of day on 10-5-24 . I called & attempted to talk to someone when I got home from work , I called & it was an automated service I could not talk to a live person . I attempted to make payment , it would not take my payment. I called on 10-5-24 to make payment and again I could not make a payment. I called my broker I believe 10-6-24 , he spoke to someone @ Kemper stating that I could show proof of sufficient funds on my due date & attempted date of taking payment , they refused to reinstate me . In the meantime I was still being charged from Freeway ( prior insurance) ******** my broker did not cancel my old policy after obtaining my new policy through Kemper/Infinity via my bank account ending #**** which was being deducted Aug 24 , Sept. 24 & Oct. 24 so it was confusing . I called Kemper myself a& they refused to listen to me . I have my call log screen picture of my calls to make payment on 10-4 & 10-5 I also my bank statements. I should have never been cancelled . I just paid almost $600 less than a month earlier to obtain this full coverage insurance. I did not have I sufficient funds in my account . I tried to make payment & was not allowed , they had already cancelled me.Business Response

A drunk driver crashed my car, I am trying to get in touch with the claims adjuster and I keep getting a run around and have been since the beginning, when I set up my claim. I keep contacting them with no resolution. I am trying to get my claim resolved but an unable to get ***** Valorian who is my adjuster and she keeps giving me the run around!! This is the worst company to deal with regarding a car crash that was not my fault they are not wanting to pay enough funds to fix my car my Insurance adjuster is ****** ******* she is extremely rude and unhelpful she is not helping to adjust to funds to get my car fixed she also hand up the phone on me 3 times now I reached out to infinity customer service department and spoke to the manager ***** there and she also was no help. Advise me that she cannot do anything to help me except for transfer me back to the claims department and ******. At this point Im going to get my lawyer to take over!!!!Business Response

I have been unable to obtain benefit for the life insurance policy i held with this company since 1996. My son was murdered 9/7/2024 and I have been waiting since to receive any payment for policy. I've called numerous times and everyone is unhelpful and rude. My home also burned down and I have received the same run around from this company. I have been unable to get in contact with the adjuster or person handling the claim. This has been the worst experience to deal with while trying to deal with the loss of a child I feel overwhelmed and taken advantage of. I have paid for insurance for years and when I need the insurance this company has failed me. I'm only seeking to obtain the benefit I paid for and I feel let down. The communication has been horrible I only hear my agent when collecting premium for this plan when they have refused to uphold the agreement.Business Response

On 10/19/24 my vehicle was damaged. I contacted my insurance company and a few days later they provided me with a buyout quote for much less than my vehicle was worth due to them stating the vehicle has a savage title. I then provided them with a picture of my title which does NOT have a savage title on it. Since then they have passed my claim to 4 different adjusters, and will not give me an updated status on my claim. I have already provided all of the information they have asked for, MULTIPLE TIMES. And Im am still receiving the rub around. No one will answer my calls or emails, or return any messages and it has already been almost a month.Business Response

I have been a customer for several years. The ********************** agent formerly insisted on picking up payment from me at my home, up until ******. After that, he no longer contacted me. When I reached out to the agency so that I could make payment in September, I was provided with the supervisor's contact information. I have been calling since September to try to pay my bill. He does not answer and I am unable to leave a message, as his mailbox is full (**** ****** ************). I called the office several times and was given the same information. I went to the office after calling and confirming they were open on Novemeber 11th, 2024. The door was locked and they refused to let me in to pay my now overdue bill. I cancelled my policy via email in April of 2022 (two years ago)... Recently I received a notice that Kemper Insurance sent a bill to collections requesting payment for two additional months of insurance (after I had cancelled my policy)... They asked for proof of this email which I have sent to the credit card bureau and kemper. Now they are asking for proof of sale or transfer of title which does not exist nor do they need that if I already sent a cancellation notice. They cannot charge for services they did not deliver AND my instructions in my email were very clear - to cancel my policy two years ago. They failed to follow through with my request and also sent a bill to collections which I do not owe. Instead of do the right thing and own up to their mistake - they are trying to make me pay the bill although I cancelled two years ago. I'm standing on my dispute but also want others to know this company is BAD when it comes to business. Unprofessional and very poor service.Business Response
