I have filed a claim with Kemper and I have only been able to talk to someone twice the whole time. They will not call be back. They will not email me back. I filed a complaint. I have sent name and numbers of witnesses, which they have not called. They are a horrible insurance company and I recommend getting a lawyer to deal with them.Kemper Corporation

If you get into an accident with someone and they have Kemper insurance get a LAWYER ASAP these people are a scam they barely return emails or phone phones they drag your claim for as long as they can . They are rude , They waited almost a month for an adjuster to go look at my car at the car lot , and then told me I have to pay storage fee , get your car towed to your house they dont pay storage fee it will save you money and frustration. 1 starI bought a insurance policy from my husband and the amount of money I asked for the policy at the end of his passing was not white I was paid out I bought a $20,000 policy and when he passed away, they told me the policy was only valued at $10,000. The Adrian that wrote the policy did not write the policy like I asked them to and no one defended me even the supervisor of the agent. No the agent was wrong I did not defend me with the company and the payout was only $10,000 you should’ve been $20,000 they cheating me out of $10,000 near cheap do you baby not follow through on what they say bad businessReview fromSierra B

Horrible insurance company. I have been fighting to cancel my policy for months. Nit only does my ******* agent claim he is incapable of closing the account but customer service claims only my ******* agent has this access!!! After so many calls I finally went to my bank . The bank called both the broker agent and customer service. Finally with strict refusal to quit helping their client my bank got the customer service representative to agree to stop autopayments. All that happened was they lowered my monthly quote. I didn't ask for this!!!! I already have and have had a new insurance policy. The problem is they won't stop taking my money. Not only that but they just now added me to good driver policy after I been begging them to cancel my insurance!!!! Kemper Auto is a joke!!! I been with kemper 7 years and not only did they not lower my rate after I fully paid off my car which I expected and asked but they never gave me good driver policy until after I been begging for them to cancel my insurance!!!!!Absolute nightmare!!!! Go anywhere else!!! Avoid KEMPER AUTO!!!!Kemper Corporation

Do not use this insurance company. It shouldn't be ***** for a company to be in business thats an insurance company that doesnt pay claims or answer the phone. Mind you this is my own insurance company that I can't get to Pay. My wife was in an accident and it wasn't her fault they asked for a picture of the car and My wife sent them a picture and they sent us a check with out Even looking at the car in person. Took the car to the body shop and they sent out an adjuster and still haven't recieved the money to pick up my car or pay for the rental. It's criminal that they get away with this I might as well not have any insuranceKemper Corporation

I filed a claim regarding a hit and run on August 31,2023. Every step of the way Kemper insurance Agent *************************** and his manager ************************* have been nothing but rude and intimidating, making my claim such a stressful situation and ending with me being accused of FRAUDWhen I made my claim, I informed him that I was hit on the left-hand drivers side of the car and my bumper was hitting the floor. I let him know that I was at the intersection.I was informed by the claim adjuster that I had a couple of days to go to one of their approved collision centers on his list that he emailed me over and that if I did not take it in or if they didnt hear from me that they would assume I was going to a non-approved collision center and that I would be responsible for 20% of the overall repair cost. After hearing him pressure me to take my vehicle in for repairs and knowing I do not have 20% for repairs, I did as he said and took my ****** corolla to the ************************ the very next day, leaving me without a car for what would become a 3-week process. I did not receive any follow up emails or phone calls regarding any additional questions or concerns.It was not until 9/27/23 that I received an alarming phone call from their investigator regarding an investigation into my claim. letting me know that until he gets the answers for his investigation would I then receive possession of my vehicle. Obviously hearing my vehicle is being held as collateral against my knowledge of why was concerned so I complied and answered all questions asked. I was completely blindsided and felt I was set up to become a victim of insurance fraud because to my knowledge the adjuster was clear on getting my car into a shop as quickly as possible. If there was ever any doubt as to my claim and the photos taken,I would have gladly answered any additional questions and waited to take my vehicle into the shop. Now Im left owing the collision center the full amount. Stay away from kemperKemper Corporation

Zero stars on this insurance. My husband was in an accident on 8/28/2023 he was not at fault. The insurance agent has been dodging ** since the above date. He gave us the number to the other adjuster and guess what no one answered. Unfortunately the other person also had Kemper. We have reported the incident to the department of insurance. Do not do business with Kemper they are awful.Kemper Corporation

Kemper was poor with communication, I used my car for commute and they listed as a company car. I rectified everything the previous renewal period and they still didn't note the information and gave me a difficult time with the current renewal. Needless to say. I went elsewhere. Do your research before signing up with this company. They are not reputableKemper Corporation

1 starI am helping my dad with his claim. He is not at fault and do not want to give him a rental state he needs to pay for it and be reimbursed when I asked ***************************** to state where in the policy language it states that claimant is not given an auto she stated she would not give me that information that I was not even her client. I asked for her supervisor and she also refused to do that. I have tried to call her supervisor ******************* 3x and it takes me to voicemail each time. My dad is also a policyholder here so this is horrible business. DO NOT RECOMMEND
