Had kemper insurance for about ? 8 years. The problem was when I went to the car dealership to buy a new car. Could not contact them to put this on the policy. they said they have no record of me at all??? when I finally contacted them that i had an insurance policy So put my old car and the new one under my husbands insurance which was much cheaper. Called my agent and canclled the old one.. But they kept pulling out money for my old car out of my checking account could not cancel no way to get in touch with them. Agent said he is having a hard time with plenty of other customers.. Finally my ******* stopped and reversed payments.. Only to see they tried it again and was reversed. Had a letter come to the house saying my insurance that I have not had in about 4 mounths would be terminated.. Yeah.. hello!!! Then they tried pulling it out again only to be reversed by my bank today.If this goes on my credit report I *************** company is messed upKemper Corporation

NO GOOD!!! I have had my policy for several years, 12 month policy I pay once per year. Just got a bill after six months. They changed my policy to six months vs 12, doubling my premium!!The reason? Glass claim last year. A $500 windshield.So I pay them for coverage, but since I dared to use the coverage I pay for they are doubling my policy.Avoid this company!!! Ridiculous!!!!! Trash insurance company,stay away.Have had them for a.while now for both my vehicles,never missed a payment and never had the policy cancelled, but they are not a good company.My wife got rear ended in her car, they handled it sub par from the beginning, took weeks to get them to fix the vehicle,then they raised the rates.But the big thing is, they paid two claims out on me for a workers comp case when it had nothing to do with our vehicles or policies.They paid the claims without ever contacting us, and now because they did that I can't get a policy with another ins company.And now,today my wife was told that when our policy renews in Aug, we can only have a 6 month policy not a year like we have had, we can't do a payment plan since we live in ******* and have to pay the policy in full or get cancelled.Like I said,trash company, very bad customer service and relations.Kemper Corporation

1 starI DID NOT have a good experience with this company! I was hit by one of Kemper's insureds. I had to find my own rental, pay for it up front (which apparently is the norm these days) and then get reimbursed. Kemper's rate for rentals was only 45.00/**** Economy rentals are around 82.00/day **** Luckily, I was able to use a personal discount to secure a rental for 46.00/day. Kemper would not pay for a rental beyond 6 days, so I was left with no vehicle for the remaining 8 days my car was in the shop. I had to find rides with friends, and borrow vehicles to get to/from work. My adjuster did not return any of my voicemails. I contacted the supervisor, manager, and then my call was returned from the adjuster (after leaving 4 previous voicemails). My adjuster told me it is best to email. Well they don't answer emails the majority of the time. I had to jump thru hoops for this company for an accident that was NOT MY FAULT! I also had to pay to get my car out of the body shop because the supplemental/email that was sent from the body shop has gone unanswered (Kemper did not pay for the remaining repairs, but documentation was sent to them to where they paid for it before on another incident). 1 starThis company is trash ! Twice the cancel my insurance for non payment. The account was set up for auto pay.When I called them, the customer service couldnt even find me the had the worst ever customer service, now I got a credit alert, because after 4 months of not being with them they had a collection of $142 dollars under my credit. DO NOT USE KEMPER or INFINITY FOR CAR INSURANCE ????They are TRASH!!!!!!!!!Review fromKay P

1 starOne of their clients rear ended me. It has been a 3 month nightmare ever since! It took them a month to finally square up with their client and record what happened. Finally, I was given approval to get my car fixed. Then, my adjuster quit (or got fired) so I couldnt get a hold of anyone, which made adjusting the quote really difficult when I got my car fixed. No one I spoke with knew what was going on. I got multiple promises that they would pay my rental car bill, but they never did! ************************* promised it would get paid, and that was an absolute lie. So now Im out over $800 and cant get a hold of anyone to take care of this. Now I have to contact a lawyer. Never choose this insurance!Review fromJuan M

My 18 year old son was hit by a kemper driver, on our 2006 lexus is 250. Both passenger side doors were damaged, rear quarter panel, and rim. The adjuster sent me a text with an estimate of $1300 to repair it. No details or anything to back his numbers. I asked him, why did he not send me an email of the items he was going to repair, and very dishonest he replied he did not have our email when my son gave him the emails "on a recorded call". He simply wanted to descriminate against my son for being to young and thought he was going to bait him in to taking his ridiculous estimate. So we got a few estimates all above $4000 and chose a shop. It turns out Kemper bought a door from a dismantler, shipped it to the shop and it was rejected for being of bad quality. They are nickel and diming the shop with the repair. The adjuster knows my son is 18 and can't drive a rental so he doesn't care because kemper won't have to cover it. It turns I have had my entire family on a kemper policy for many years but this will change at the end of the month. As a responsable parent I also would like that in the event that my family was at fault for an accident, our insurance would get things done without nickel and diming. The adjuster talks with a polite and soft tone, but very hypocritical and dishonest. STAY AWAY FROM KEMPERKemper Corporation

Second time dealing with them. First time filing claim was *************** was amazing. This time around my claims adjustor definitely has an issue with communicating effectively. I had to find out on my own by calling multiple times that my claim was send to specials investigation unit. Spoke with **** with special investigations and the process was painless, needless to say I have left several messages for ******************* with no reply. To my surprise I tried to reach out to him and his number DISCONNECTED. I then called my adjustor **** and just like right he didn't have a clue in regards to **** number being disconnected he informed me that I was possibly dialing the number wrong which was incorrect, he then turns around and gives me an INVALID email. I've gone as far as to leave a message with the adjustor supervisor. I continue to hold my breath for a return call!!!! I hope this message is received by someone who represents this company with integrity and compassion, not just a generic Kemper corporation response.Kemper Corporation

Horrible!!!They cancelled my policy on the 15th even though my bill says in black and white, that it isn't due till the 28th of each month, I called and asked how this happened and his response was "that date doesn't mean anything, they go by the equity date. HUH? Ive never heard of such a thing, and since I started ********* online there wasn't anyone to explain this to me, ********* was cancelled and i only found out when i was pulled over (i have to maintain a sr22) and now have to turn myself in for driving on suspended license. I now have to pay an attorney, court fees etc for the love of God....DO NOT USE THEMKemper Corporation

1 starThis is the worst auto insurance company ever. Why does it take 2 months to get my car inspected for them to pay to fix it???? Crazy!
