      ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE SERVICE. I HAVE CALLED REGARDING A CLAIM AT LEAST 20 TIMES, LEAVING DETAILED MESSAGES EVERY TIME. THE SUPERVISORS I AM BEING FORWARDED TO DON'T EVEN RETURN MY CALLS. TWO OF WHICH HAVE EXTENSIONS THAT ARE NO LONGER ACTIVE. WHO RUNS A COMPANY LIKE THIS? OH... THEY WILL RESPOND IF I AM INTERESTED IN PURCHASING MORE INSURANCE THOUGH. SO... THAT SHOULD TELL YOU SOMETHING ABOUT THEIR CORP. CULTURE.

      Just like all the other review I'm reading. Our experience has been horrible. Their insurer ran into the back of us and we are gong through h*** because of it. We can't get a returned call or a response to any emails. At this point I feel like they think eventually we'll get tired and go away. WRONG at this point I am hiring a lawyer to go after the insured person and Kemper. NO STARS AT ALL

      Dealing with this company has been nothing less than a headache. I was rear ended, my car was totaled and theyre liable, yet its been over 2 months and I never got the funds to replace my car nor a rental. Ive spoken to multiple representatives, but none of them can tell me when theyll be able to give me the fund to replace my car. How can you expect someone to go this long without a car? I have a job and I have a life outside of that job which requires transportation. This whole experience has obscured and awful. I can only imagine the run around they give their clients.

      I cant adequately communicate how much distress my experience with Kemper has caused me. Like so many other reviews, I keep getting the run around. My car was hit by one of their clients and they do their best to avoid covering repairs or paying for a rental. They make you think they are doing you a favor by sending you a check before an actual body shop looks at your vehicle. Im on my second body shop trying to get damage repaired for repairs for rates their adjuster deems appropriate from some uploaded pictures. They also require you to pay up front for a rental car and then be reimbursed after the fact. Theyre quick to say you can use any body shop and rent any car you like but they wont cover what either of these cost. After several messages, emails, and calls back and forth with the adjuster and a rental company, Im two days into the repairs and still have no rental because they made a rental reservation number with a $20/per day allowance but assumed I would pay the difference for whatever car. They did not reserve a car for they negotiated rate they were willing to cover, much less cover the cost of a car comparable to what I was without. I CAN NOT express how much stress this has caused me and now time from work so I can spend yet another day chasing down people to get answers.

      I am having such an issue with my claim, my adjuster all of a sudden left the company and it has been impossible to reach her supervisor or the supervisor of the supervisor. This has been one of the worst experiences ever and i have not been able to settle this claim still or speak to anyone who can assist. Any suggestions besides a lawyer because they come with fees

      &^$$ BEWARE ^%$%Probably WORSE insurance out there!!!they will do what ever is needed to NOT pay for damages to drivers or other parties!at the end it WILL cost you more MONEY!! YOU get what you pay for.

      Very bad experience with Kemper. The adjuster's call never got through in 3 months. Left voice message, sent email, called her supervisor as the auto reply indicated, but just wasted time. Called the 800 number without using my claim#, but was just indicated to go back to my adjuster. My car is still on hold in repair center for 2 weeks, coz Kemper hasn't confirmed the repair expense for the hidden damage. I feel they purposefully make it hard to get through to people just give up, which can reduce their cost... The worst insurance company I have ever seen.

      My Daughter was hit by a Kemper customer and they accepted liability. The want to total the car that is still legally drivable but has cosmetic damage. I cannot replace the vehicle for the "totaled" amount. Not even close.. I have called at least once a week since the first week of February. I can't even get the claims rep to answer the phone much less call me back. Meanwhile, I get a call about once a day from the towing company wanting to take my daughter's ONLY mode of transportation. Terrible company. Terrible customer service. Accident claim began 1/7/2023.

      Wrote a policy for my home 20 days later cancelled the policy because I had a zero dollar claim in 2019 from my previous insurance company. If that was a problem then why write the policy? Dont do any business with this company cant be trusted. Cheaper is not always better.
