      My brakes failed and I rear-ended their insured at a stopsign. The visible damage was all to my car, the grill and hood ornament hit the solid metal rear fender of his truck. I could see no damage to his truck (he claimed some kind of paint damage, I couldn't see it), but he tried to extort me for cash at the scene, and stole a piece of my metal hood ornament. It was due to my brakes not working, after I had been told by a mechanic that they were OK. Now he is lying, claiming I was following him too close. He is falsely also claiming over $1000 damage to his car and made up injuries, Kemper is backing him up and somehow conned my insurance company into going along with it, despite my telling them otherwise. He also has a lawyer harassing me and my insurance company. I don't appreciate this. I am a low income person and a dedicated public servant. I have no money to pay anything over my rather extensive liability coverage (compared to the value of his truck and his made up injuries) which should be enough to satisfy his greed, that of his ambulance chasing sheister lawyer and Kemper. Kemper shouldn't encourage their insured drivers to act like this and try to impoverish low income public servants.

      I bought insurance from freeway insurance and it was Infinity, i have had Infinity before but never got an accident in my 35yrs of driving, i got full coverage on a car i bought from ******* car dealership which i have a whole complaint on its own.On December 31st, 2022 it rain so much in LA and surrounding cities, i was on my way home from work at about 8pm about 20minutes to exit home i could fell the rain puddle pulling the car i slowed down at a 35 to 40 literally on the freeway . People were passing with speed limits of 70's, i moved to the very right lane and in a minute hit a bigger puddle and threw me off the freeway , I hit the side guard and started spinning i couldn't count how many times. I spanned i was so terrified and shocked ,it took me to the opposite far left to the diamond lane and hit rail and back to the middle of the freeway. At this time all cars were about a half a mile from me so i was just lucky to be alive. i am filled with tears and anxiety just talking about it. A couple of car could have hit me and it could have gone south very quickly. I finally got home with AAA at almost 2am and started calling Kemper no one was available till the 3rd January 2023. I got nice lady for intake and scheduled car to be picked up, spoke to 1st adjuster after that all went down hill. I could not talk to any adjuster or supervisors, all my calls went to voice-mail and no one returns the calls, they paid $1200 car reimbursement i went $3000 in car rental before i got the $1200 the rest is mine to eat, i am still renting. Now car fianance company want Kemper to contact them and there is no communication from Kemper my adjuster *************************** sent a letter of guarantee which i had to beg for, it states the settlement in 10 to 20days its been 25 days and kings financial is on me to make car payment on a totaled car. I am so stressed out why am i paying full coverage to be going through this. UNFAIR!

      Kemper has been unresponsive, unprofessional, and overall a terrible experience. All of the reviews below mirror the experience we have had. The accident occurred 2/15/23, and my boyfriend's vehicle was declared a total loss exactly a week later. We have not heard from them since, in spite of multiple phone calls, multiple messages, and absolutely no ability to talk to anyone who could be of any help at all. We will be dropping his policies.

      Worst insurance company I have ever dealt with. Kemper's insured driver hit my parked car. Neither the adjuster or her boss return phone calls or emails. And before there is a response to this review saying to respond to the moble.inquiries email, I already did that twice, again with no response. I finally get a letter in the mail that states they won't cover the accident and they closed the file. I will be filing a complaint with the BBB, *************** of Insurance, and contacting an attorney.

      I had an issue with soot in my house, we had a restoration company come in to clean the soot, paint the walls and replace carpet. Everything seemed OK until we turned the heat on. The baseboard heaters should have been replaced rather than just cleaned, now my house is filled back with soot. My kids are constantly sick and it has been like pulling teeth to get this resolved. Now the adjuster is lying to me and telling me someone came to my house and determined that I do not have soot by using a chemical sponge. This did not happen and this is so unprofessional . I have been emailing, so that I have proof since November and only just got a response because I copied a manager. And the response was what I mentioned above that they came here which never happened and no one has tested anything. I am so frustrated and honestly very worried about the air quality in my home, but my adjuster and Kemper seem like they just don't want to fix the situation and if they don't respond I will just go away. Awful customer service and I will be escalating this further if nothing is done, this is unacceptable.

      am telling ya, the customer service at the claims department is at zero to none specially this guy named *************************, unprofessional, and kept on yelling over the phone and threatened me to hang up or I should stop asking questions, looks like a small company with growing pains. stay away

      Garbage company. My credit card that was linked to AutoPay expired, therefore was declined. THEY CANCELLED MY POLICY WITHOUT LETTING ME KNOW! I received a letter in the mail 5 full days after they cancelled it to let me know. When I called to ********** the policy (after 45 minutes on hold), I was told they couldn't help me. Don't waste your time or money.

      I filed a claim on 2/19/23 and I am beyond upset on how unprofessional and unresponsive they are. I have talked to ***** a supervisor no help, spoke to another supervisor did not give his name. I have not heard from the adjust assigned to me *********************. Left multiple voicemails and no call back within his time frame 24 hours. I am so tired of the run around I get from them. I am dropping them; they are no help. The worst experience. I regret getting them as my insurance, they have yet to call me about my claim. If anyone can call me back, I would appreciate it I just want my car fixed but there is no movement on their end. Zero stars for this company. Horrible.

      If I could give this insurance company 0 stars, I would. Absolutely the worst customer service and worst insurance. I am honestly not sure what I am even paying so much for. Roadside assistance is completely useless. Additionally, since my accident, they have not been returning my lawyer's calls, taking a significant amount of time to reimburse my expenses even though I was not at fault. DO NOT choose this insurance! Getting into an accident or getting stranded on the side of the road should not feel this stressful when one is paying so much for insurance.
