      I have attempted to contact someone THREE times and no response. Awful. I need to get a very important document to them and they can not return a call. I don't know how to forward this info to them. Come on, it not that difficult to return a call. They will not communicate with the owner of the vehicle (that is a total loss). Just mind boggling to me. I know Kemper can do better.

      I don't want to be quick to judge the company itself because sometimes it's the people they have making the decisions that are the problem. One of their customers hit my car and they refused to fix my car. Claim adjuster ****** is so unprofessional. The accident happened on August 11, 2022 and the guy clearly hit my car from behind. I was going to work, i got his license plate so i said I'll just go to work and get a police report later. I tried to get a police report after work but the police department told me just call the insurance Company and file a claim because it's obvious that the guy hit my car. I filed a claim and claim adjuster ****** lied to me and told me the guy has a police and she have to wait on the police report before i can get my car fix. I told her there's no way the guy have a police and she said yes he does.. Today ****** called me to tell me my claim is denied. She gave me extention number to her supervisor *********************** who's never available. Kemper, that's not fair, I need my vehicle fix. That will be so evil of your company if you guys don't take care of this $500something estimated cost . I probably will have to take you to court, I don't care how much I pay my lawyer, your company need to stop being unfair.

      DO NOT FILE A CLAIM WITH KEMPER! Use your own company!!! On March 18, 2022, I was involved in a minor head-on collision with a Kemper Insured. The police were called, she was found at fault and issued a citation for failure to control. On March 19, 2022, I called and filed a claim through Kemper. I received a call back from claims representative ************************* on March 21. She took my recorded statement and advised me how/where to get an estimate at one of their shops. I called their approved body shop and got an appointment for the estimate, which was about a week later. No issue with the body shop, they were nice guys. I went ahead and made an appointment to get my car repaired, figuring that Kemper would be easier to deal with through their approved facility. In this time frame, I received 2 letters from Kemper, one that stated they were verifying the claim and the second containing a copy of the estimate. AT NO TIME did they accept liability. I attempted to contact the adjuster at least twice a week (via phone calls and email) with no response for one month. The one call from ****** said they were still trying to contact their insured and had not yet accepted liability. I understand that BUT there was a police report clearly stating fault. The adjuster said she hadn't been able to obtain the report, I emailed to her twice (and my company's adjuster sent it to her as well. It is also available ONLINE). Long story short, I never heard from ****** after April. I ended up cancelling my appointment with their body shop and filing through my own insurance company. After over a month with NO contact, I received a random ck from Kemper. It didn't match the estimate AT ALL. I did not cash it and claim was completed through my company. They ended up taking Kemper through arbitration and won! I received a check from my company 2 weeks ago for my deductible. It should not have taken 6 months to resolve this claim. BEWARE of their shady claim practices.

      I have NEVER had to deal with worse company in my 45 years of doing business. We have a claim against their ****************** With more than 30 phone calls and messages not a single one has been returned. We FINALLY tracked down one of their uncaring and rude adjusters and had the accident claim approved. She was to secure a rental car for us through Enterprise. The day we dropped the car for repair no appointment was made. We had to go to two different rental locations and took the only car available. They do not pay for it up front, they say they reimburse.B.S. When we went to pick up the car the adjuster had never released the check. I had to pay out of pocket for that as well. I submitted the rental receipt and they are refusing to pay in full because they only cover what they feel like. Several more phone calls with not one **** response. I am retaining legal counsel and now they will pay what they owe and both legal expenses. My advice is to avoid this scam company at all cost. I wish I could give NEGATIVE stars.

      I have had Kemper auto insurance for around 20 years I just tried to renew my policy I do it annually but found out they would not renew it because of where I live they never bothered to call email or send a letter to notify me so now I am left with no insurance and unable to drive until I find a auto insurance company that will understand communication and loyalty

      My policy was canceled and no opportunity to reinstate. They say they send me mail but i didn't get it. I called there office spoke with two people and acted mean. Like no call another number we cant do anything for you. I was with the company since 2018 and they rather me go somewhere else than to stay with them. I cant believe after sobmany years of being a good paying customer they can just give u the cold shoulder and not want to help at all. They recommend i go with other insurance companies then to stay with them. How is that. I thought they need would do something to help me since ive been a good customer but i guess not.

      I shouldnt be surprised based on the reviews I see below. Kemper insurance is a horrible company, a Kemper customer hit me and fled the scene. It took me 2 weeks of trying to get their insurance information, when my company finally got it we had to file the claim with them because the person who hit me hadnt. Since then I have received one letter stating Kemper would be taking all responsibility (that was two weeks ago) but I have not heard a word from thin since. My children were in the car with me and I needed to replace my infants car seat. The damage to my car has left me without a vehicle for two weeks already and have not had any of my phone calls, voicemails or emails returned from this joke of a insurance company.

      A Kemper customer hit me, doing significant damage to my car, with minor medical and loss of income. My insurance company was handling the claim and has clear cut evidence that this is their customers fault. What they tried to do was call me to make a settlement (specifically ***********************) without explaining the ramifications of doing so. DO NOT SETTLE. These desk jockeys are basically bad salesman trying the rip off consumers because their customers are underinsured. They have the lowest common denominator of clients who cant get insured anywhere else. Essentially they took a lot of my time to work on the claim and then didnt pay anything they said they would cover (lost wages, medical and expenses). So I am letting my insurance company let them have it and make them pay. Let your insurance handle it and dont take their calls or answer their letters. They are highly unprofessional, deceptive and disgusting people.

      Worst experience Ive had with any car insurance. My car was was hit by one of their clients and filled a claim since they were at fault. They contacted me right away asking for estimates and download pictures. After providing them with everything I didnt hear back from anyone for two months. I reached out to them by email asking them status. Their response was that it was under investigation. Finally I called again and with no explanation they told me the claim was closed. I emailed Charm, my adjuster and all she said if I had any questions to call the main number. I called the main number and they told me that only my adjuster can tell me the reason why they denied the claim. I called ***** back her only explanation was that her client doesnt have coverage for that accident and couldnt give me more information. I asked if her client was insured through them and she said yes but has no coverage for your accident even tho they were at fault.
