Kemper is the only insurance my car has had since I drove out of the car dealer in 2020 and for the 1st time I had to file a claim be cause my car was hit while it was legally parked in a residential area, they hit the left side of my car affected both bumpers the front one was damaged the most. Let me tell you this street has high traffic and it is a pretty narrow street. The people at Kemper have made me feel like a criminal for filling a claim, I have interacted with 3 people and they all talk like scammers and sales Horrible experience. I have anxiety right now I feel like going to the hospital after dealing with the last person, she went as far as to asking me "Where do I place my keys while I sleep?" and they also said to me that The insurance company has access to the street and road cameras and that they are sure my car was already damaged prior to my claim. I have been paying my policy on time for 5 years, I feel anxiety I feel manipulated and hamulated by these cons. I will have to wait 2 more weeks for a response from them because according to the INVESTIGATOR that called me, she has to pass the claim to someone else. Someone had the same experience with them and they said never again will they work with KEMPER . YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR with these clowns.Kemper Corporation

Kemper is the worst never availed to get i touch with adjuster my car was hit while been parked and they still wanted me to 20 percent of the damages this bs my car has been in the auto repair shop for more the 3 weeks now and they don't get back to them in regards to accepting the new estimate I have been borrowing a car since I don't have the cash to rent a car this is just bs ?? this is worst is the worst. I think they should close them for good they definitely don't follow the CA laws.Kemper Corporation

I would not insure a tricycle with Kemper. There customer agents are useless, my adjuster will not return my calls. It's been three weeks and I still DO NOT have any information on the status of my claim. I don't like leaving horrible reviews, but in this case it is necessary. If by chance you are involved in an accident with someone insured by Kemper, I hope you have patience, because I have lost mine. ***Kemper Corporation

I've been trying to get them to pay for four months. The at fault driver (insured by Kemper) rear-ended my car and did ~$22k in damage. He was insured for 20k property damage. Kemper paid the body shop ~$5k, then said they had reached their coverage limit. Geico (my insurance) finally convinced them to actually pay the body shop about two weeks ago. Very disappointing and sadden by the way this company handles the claims process. I have had a life policy (Cancer) for about nine months and was diagnosed with early stage Prostate-Cancer. May all payments on time and never had a problem getting in touch the agent assigned to me. Now that I have file a claim, they are challenging the medical records for (10) years trying to look and find a reason not to pay the claim. The last thing I thought I would have to do is justified having cancer. I know, I planned to get cancer. Hopefully, my agent will respond to my calls and now after ten days of trying to get in touch with him.Kemper Corporation

Im upset, I cannot get in contact with the adjuster to see if she can let me know the status of my car. When will it be repaired or what theyre going to do. Its like pulling teeth to get in contact with them. Ive called many times even left a messages with no call back. The adjuster needs to be in contact with the customer by phone or mail to let them know where were at. This is one of the worst experiences Ive had. I pay my insurance every month. The adjuster could at least keep in contact with me. Its been 2 months now and nothing. ???? Im disappointed with this company. I dont even know the condition of my car or where its located since it was picked up by someone who stated they represented the company. It was a scam. Im frustrated. I want to know when, where and how long this is going to be. I need my car!!! No kind of communication at all!! ???????? Also I have to get the rental on my own and there supposed to reimburse me up to $600. Well no rental is that cheap and Im beyond that amount and I cannot afford it anymore had to give it back. I have other bills to pay. Now Im on the bus trying to get to work and back. This has caused me nothing but stress from one of the insurance agent who started this mess to the adjuster not keeping me informed. I need my car fixed.Kemper Corporation

LITERALLY THE WORST INSURANCE COMPANY POSSIBLE!!!! I cannot stress this enough. They charge you out the a** monthly and then cant be bothered to help if you need to file a claim, its nothing but excuses. When my last policy ended, I turned off auto pay and it stated my policy was paid in full & unenrollment in autopay would take effect for the next policy. Awesome, any sane person would think that bc their current term was paid in full & autopay was turned off, they wouldnt receive any more charges from them, right? WRONG. They proceeded to charge me $450 to renew my policy even after I canceled my previous one. Then when I asked for a refund because I already went ahead and started a policy with another company, they told me it would be ***** business days for them to determine if you deserve a refund and then I had to jump through hoops and email and call them DAILY for them to finally send me a refund nearly a month later. F*** Kemper, yall are scammy and the biggest POS company Ive ever had the displeasure of working with.Kemper Corporation

THE ABSOLUTE WORST! If I could leave a negative 5 star I would. I have never in my 20plus years of driving ever dealt with an insurance company that is this bad. This company is a scam and I think they use it as a coverup to do illegal activities. THE ABSOLUTE WORST! I wouldnt wish them on my worst enemy.Kemper Corporation

Not happy with them at all! one of their policy holders hit me from the back and i need to have a new bumper replaced. They sent me a check for $600 and they also wanted to claim that i had previous damage. It has been 2 weeks and the shop is still waiting for approval for the supplement since the $600 wasn't enough to cover the damages which was obvious from the beginning. I have kids that i have to take to school and also need to move for work. The rental that they offer is that it has to come out of my pocket and they will reimburse me after that. I don't have that kind of money specially when they don't even say if the supplement will be approved or when. One of he worst experiences because i don't have a car to move and won't even know when this will be fixed. Please i need help ****. I don't understand how they expect me to be without a car for so long and for a minor repair. This insurance company needs to be out of business now. Beware peopleKemper Corporation
