I parked in a lot owned and operated by ParkWhiz in ***********, **, for three days, and it cost $125.All three days I paid for all day parking, $15. The second day, however, when I went online to pay, I couldn't locate the lot online. Not for lack of trying; It is the same lot I've been parking in for the duration of this work trip. The lot is NOT showing up online. So, I paid for parking in the closest ParkWhiz owned lot, across the street. This resulted in a $50 parking ticket. So I literally paid for parking, and still got a ticket. Five days later, I've gotten the response that "this is a valid ticket" from ParkWhiz. How is this legal? This is actual theft, and I cannot afford this ticket. I logged into my account with ******************** and also found that I was incorrectly charged for parking in ********* on Sunday, when I was in *******.Business Response

Hi ****,
We apologize for the inconvenience!
ParkWhiz does not own or operate any parking lots, nor do we monitor lots or issue parking notices. You will need to work with the parking lot owner (you can find their information on the notice you received). It sounds like you paid for parking at a different lot than the one you parked in so the lot operator did not get paid and gave you a parking notice. As for reasons a lot may not show in our app, it is possible that the lot operator had the lot reserved for others at that time so they pulled the location from the ParkWhiz website because they did not want other people parking there.
Thank you,

On 4/20/24 purchased parking pass after buying 6 tickets to Orioles game from ************* directed to Park Wiz associated with Flash.Cost ***** , which I thought was high but paid because I was coming from another state for game. So I purchased parking pass in advance.Upon leaving after game day, I took my receipt along with the person in front of me ( photo attached of both) , that was left in machine He was there for longer period of time and paid flat rate of ***** dollars vs myself pre paying and being charged almost 3 times the normal rate, on 5/12/24 Mothers Day.This put a sour taste to end the day supporting a team and definitely a deceiving way to overcharge customer from out of town .It poorly reflects on *************, Park Wiz , Flash, the Orioles and **********Please credit me partial refund to correct this , in order to visit ********* again without feeling used.Thank you for your help.Business Response

Hi *******,
We apologize for the confusion!
It looks like you purchased this pass from a third-party website. Unfortunately, passes purchased from websites like TicketsCenter, Seatgeek, Stubhub, or Vividseats are likely resold to you at an enormously inflated rate over the actual value. ParkWhiz Terms of Service are null and void for any passes purchased through a reselling site, and in case you experience an issue with your pass, youll need to reach out directly to the service through which you transacted to seek a refund/reimbursement, as ParkWhiz is not liable for these sales.
Although we do not condone this, we lack control over the activities of resellers on external websites. We apologize once more for any inconvenience or confusion this may cause.
Thank you,

A parking place was purchased for us to use at a recent concert in ******* ***** that was to take place on 4/28/24. The parking company charged $75. When we arrived, there was a lock on the gate and no place to park. Others were experiencing the same issue. It was 7:00 and this left us with no place to park and the location was not as described. Opening at 7 in walking distance to ***********. We had no choice but to go find at pay for another place at the last minute. This place was purchased in Dec as part of our Christmas present from our kids.Business Response

I am rejecting this response because: They are asking me if I submitted a ticket. I had a code (which I attached with my complaint) to get in a parking lot that did not exist, was charged $75. The locked lot was not near the venue and we were put in ********, because we did not have a safe place to park. We had to park miles from the venue and pay for another parking area which was not near the venue and had to walk miles after midnight in ***************** If the company needs to submit a ticket they can. l will only be satisfied with a full refund. On April 27, I used ParkWhiz to purchase a spot at the ****************************************************************. According to the instructions in ParkWhiz we were not supposed to take a ticket, we were to scan the code to get into the lot and get out of the lot. Scanning the code did not work. We went and found parking elsewhere. I contacted ParkWhiz to let them know that I wanted a refund as their posted instructions in the app were not the same as the instructions I was then told by the company who runs the lot when I walked back to ask why no one answered and why the ParkWhiz pass didn't work (they said to take a ticket and then they would take a photo of the app and let us out). This is not posted anywhere and is the exact opposite of the instructions in the ParkWhiz App. I received a response from ParkWhiz customer service after filling out a ****** form asking if I paid for parking elsewhere on April 30. I responded and let them know I did not within minutes of their email. I have not heard from them and followed up by the same email chain May 3.Business Response

On 4/13/24 I reserved a parking space at a parking garage in ******, ** on the corner of ****************************** through a website for ParkWhiz to be used on April 15th from 4:30 pm to 11:30. I paid $55.93 using my credit card. When I arrived at the parking garage, the attendant refused to accept my reservation stating that they did not authorize ParkWhiz to sell spots in their facility. I paid for a spot on site and pursued a refund from ParkWhiz the next day. When I began the process of requesting a refund through Parkwhiz, I initially did not get any response. I then sent an email to customer support asking for assistance or I would open a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. I received an email response asking for proof that I paid at the parking garage again. I sent them a copy of the transaction from my credit card company. They then questioned if I went to the correct place, so I sent them my receipt showing the address of the parking garage. They then said they couldn't find my reservation or email and they asked for my parking ID number. I sent them a copy of my parking ID number. I have not heard from them since April 23rd, and I feel like that should be plenty of time to refund my payment. I did not attach any of the documents here because they already have them.Business Response

4-5-24 I purchased a $65 parking pass for a lot for ************** opening day. When I got to the lot there were no spots left. They rerouted me to a 2nd lot which also had no spots. The 3rd lot was able to get us in. This is NOT the lot I purchased and I wanted to be specifically in the lot I purchased with family, friends and location. When I contacted them it took 3-4 weeks for a final response. They admitted they overbooked but could not refund my money since they did find a lot I could go in. I did NOT purchase the lot which was a further walk from the stadium. I want a full refund.Business Response

Hi ****,
We apologize for the inconvenience!
While it is true that ParkWhiz was able to honor your reservation at another lot, we must apologize for our slow response time. Despite our efforts to reserve parking spaces with our partners, sometimes a lot will sell out on the day of an event beyond our control.
Regardless, we have gone ahead and refunded your original booking of $65.00 as we know how frustrating it can be to not be able to keep your regular plans with your friends and family. While we release the funds immediately, depending on your bank it can take 3-5 days to hit your account. Our agent has responded to you via email as well to confirm the refund.

I visited the ***************** on 3/11/24. I used the ** code on the sign to pay for parking with Park Whiz. It seemed simple enough: put in your license plate, the code for the parking lot, and pay with Apple Pay. I clicked twice to confirm the Apple Pay Payment, and their site took me back to the first page for booking parking. I assumed it went through, but apparently not. When my husband and I walked back to our car it seemed that about 1/3 of the cars had notices on them. We thought that was strange until we saw that our car also had a notice. Clearly we were not the only people who had experienced a problem when trying to pay. I immediately went through the payment process again to see what I had done wrong. The second time I got a confirmation of the payment and was not redirected to the beginning. This was the first time I used that system, so there was no way for me to know that I needed to wait for a confirmation page.I have emailed explaining that I tried to pay and did pay before leaving. The fee for the day is $5.50 regardless of how much time you are there, so a payment on the date that I was there should have been good enough. I got the run around from them for weeks via email. I called and they are always "experiencing high call volumes." I finally got a reply and they offered to reduce the fine from $89 to $67. I don't think I should pay a fine. I paid for parking. There are numerous complaints about their site not working on Reddit and BBB.Initial Complaint

I booked prepaid reserved parking at a ramp for a ******************* concert which was to occur 04/19/24. When arriving the machine in my entrance lane had a broken scanner. My only option was to take a ticket from the machine to enter. I could not reverse as there was approx 100 cars behind me. After concert, upon trying to exit the scanner was working at that location. I scanned both a paper print out and QR code on my phone. Both said invalid. My only option to get out was to insert credit card and pay$ 20 even though I already paid park whiz 16 to reserve a spot.pass #*********. Next day I tried calling 1800 number but says there is no agent available to take call please leave msg. I also emailed, created ticket via app nothing is done or no response gotten. I feel that the scanner may have been deactivated intentionallyBusiness Response

Hi ******,
We apologize for the inconvenience!
We can assure you the scanner was not deactivated intentionally. Sometimes there are issues with technology or hardware and it seems this was one of them. Regardless, we have gone ahead and refunded your original booking amount of $17.67. While we release the funds immediately, depending on your bank it can take 3-5 days to hit your account.
Again we apologize for the frustration and inconvenience.

I have had two interactions with park whiz. The first though resolved was problematic. I had booked a parking space and was told very rudely that there was no parking available and threateningly told me to leave. I was unable to find another lot. ParkWhiz begrudgingly provided me with a refund. On April 18 I booked a parking spot from 7:30 am to the following day at 8am for $60. By chance I found out that the garage is no open on Saturday. I also discovered that in small print on the voucher it states that the garage is closed on Saturday. The app allowed me to make the reservation. I also discovered that the garage only charges $23obviously ParkWhizs guarantee of the lowest price is not true. Not only was I charged a higher price but also paid for time park whiz knowingly booked when the garage was closed.Business Response
Date: 04/25/2024
Hi *********,
We apologize for the inconvenience!
ParkWhiz does not own or operate any garages or lots so if a price is different onsite than it is in the app that is completely up to management and not ParkWhiz. They often don't inform us of those price changes for us to update pricing in the app.
Regardless, you shouldn't have been able to book for a time when the garage is closed so we have gone ahead and refunded your original booking of $63.60. While we release the funds immediately, depending on your bank it can take 3-5 days to hit your account.
Again we apologize for the frustration and inconvenience.
Thank you,
