I paid for valet parking ($23.50) at the ************** through ParkWhiz on 2/5/2024, less than 30 minutes prior to arriving. When we arrived at 10:15, right when our parking should have begun, there was no valet in sight where the online directions told us to go. We spoke to aquarium staff and they told us no one had showed up to valet that day. We had to secure parking a few blocks away and walk in the pouring rain. I escalated this to ParkWhiz the same day via their online support and requested a refund. I received an email back on 2/9 requesting my receipt for the parking I paid elsewhere, which has nothing to do with the service they offered and didnt provide. I replied back same day and have followed up twice (9/13 and 9/16) with no response. I have attached the receipt as well as pictures of where the valet should have been, but was not.Business Response

What was supposed to be a single charge of $26 ended up costing me over $130, as I was charged 5 times for this single transaction. I wouldn't be here if this issue weren't a pattern.I have been charged multiple times for a single session before. ParkWhiz' website seems to be intentionally broken, allowing users to make multiple charges without issuing any message to the user about the status of their purchase. Occasionally, it says there was an error processing the transaction, but the charge still goes through.ParkWhiz gets away with scamming customers under the guise of incompetence.Business Response

Unfortunately, from time to time there are glitches with software systems. We can assure you there is nothing intentional about this and we are not trying to scam anyone.
We do see that 4 of the 5 bookings of $26.49 from Feb 14th were refunded on Feb 16th for a total of $105.96 refunded to you. While we release the funds immediately, depending on your bank it can take 3-5 days to hit your account.

I was charged 8 times when trying to purchase parking, because their webpage kept saying that the payment did not go through. Were finally bought parking through the kiosk so were paid 9 times for 1 instance of parking. They provide no phone number or contact information, the refund form is only for a duplicate charge and doesnt let me provide multiple screenshots or parking codes.Business Response

I went to the Ravens football game sunday 1/28/24. I paid for parking with parkwhiz upfront $34.44. The pass stated that we should exit by 6PM or 1 hour after the event ends. The game started at 3pm and normally takes 3.5 hrs to end. Game ended at 6:12. We went to garage and could not get gate to open until we paid an additional $12 at 6:37. I complained to Parkwhiz to no avail. Problem appears to be that Parkwhiz set gametime at 2pm instead of 3pm. This caused the garage to think that game ended at 5pm and we had until 6pm to exit resulting the extra fee. Parkwhiz is located in ******* central time zone. They incorrectly alerted the garage that game should end at 5 central std time which is 6 EST.Business Response

I purchased parking that was advertised as 24/7 parking with unlimited in and out access. The parking garage contacted me after the purchase and said it was actually not as advertised and would only be commuter parking. This is included in the screenshots. They told me I needed to reach out to the ParkWhiz to request a refund. I requested a refund from ParkWhiz on January 4th. I've gone back and forth with them over the phone and emails and still do not have the refund of $180. They keep coming up with new items they need to show I purchased parking. As we do not own or operate the lots or garages sometimes there can be miscommunications between the management company and our company who simply provides the parking services. It seems that is what happened with your pass you purchased.

The site advertises the you will save a huge percentage by paying in advance. When I went to get my car they told me the amount would be $26 when I paid in advance I paid $40. This is deceiving and false that you will save money by pre paying.Business Response

As we do not own or operate any of the lots or garages, we are unaware if management decides to change rates or have a different drive up rate than what they originally set it as (which is what you will see in the app). Because of this, there can often times be discrepancies between reserved and drive up rates.
If you paid the cheaper drive up price of $26 please kindly share your receipt or a screenshot of your bank statement showing that payment, and we will be happy to refund the original amount of $39.22.

We do not have control of the rates which is why there was a discrepancy. Sometimes the lots/garages change their rates without letting us know which is why you will sometimes see a different price. We are not intentionally misleading anyone.
With that, because you used the original parking pass, we went ahead and refunded you the difference of the price you pre-paid and the drive up price resulting in a $14 refund (see attached receipt). While we release the funds immediately, depending on your bank it can take 3-5 days to hit your account.

Purchased parking online for Lambough Field in ********* ** for 01/07/24 Followed directions to the address for the parking lot and verified the address with a local police officer that was directing traffic.I presented my pass to attendant, he said my pass was not valid, refused to even scan my pass, and after several minutes of arguing, he walked away and we had to search for other parking.This website is either a scam or the parking is not well managed .I am out over $100 and I expect you will make this right and refund my money.Business Response

Unfortunately, we do not own or operate any parking locations - we simply contract with the management companies to provide listing services. Often attendants, who are not our employees, take matters into their own hands and make decisions like not allowing people to park which is unacceptable. We have let the owner of that lot know.
I do see that your original booking for $104.80 was refunded on January 14th. While we release those funds immediately, it can take up to 3-5 days to hit your account depending on your bank.

This parking app changed me for parking for the even I was going to, then upon arrival I was told by the associate that my parking pass is a scam. They wouldnt let me into the prepaid secure parking I purchased ahead of time. Upon reaching the business I was told that they cant refund me unless I provide a prof of another parking I purchased instead. I wasnt let into the parking lot and I dont buy another parking ***** just want the refund for the one they scammed me with because I wasnt able to use it. The business refused to refund me but I deserve my money back. They have cameras and proof that my QR code wasnt used because they werent able to scan it. This company is running a scam and sent me a letter pressuring me pay $90 for a parking ticket on an alleged private property that i was on 11/28/23. I know for a fact i have received no parking violations and i was not at that location that day or any other.Business Response
