11/12/23 I paid for a parking voucher ($33) to be redeemed on 11/23/23 at **********************************************. Upon my arrival on 11/23/23, I was informed that - the City closed the garage due to violations. I parked at a different garage at **************************************** and paid $35.11/26/23 I emailed ParkWhiz requesting a refund.11/30/23 ParkWhiz responded via email requesting documentation.12/1/23 I emailed ParkWhiz my parking receipt paid at ***************************************** paid receipt and bank statement of the $33 withdrawl from my **********/6/*********************** emailed that a full refund to my card will be issued. I will receive another email confirmation. I will receive funds to my account 7 - 10 business days.12/26/23 and 1/1/24 I emailed ParkWhiz for an update on my refund. 1/3/24 I messaged ParkWhiz on their ******** page.I have not received the refund ($33) and 12/6/23 was my last received communication from ParkWhiz.I have uploaded all of my documentation that I submitted to ParkWhiz on 12/1/23.Business Response

We apologize for the inconvenience!
Because this booking was purchased through Groupon, they are responsible for returning the funds back to you. As you can see by the attached image, we refunded those funds back to Groupon on December 6th.
As of yesterday (Jan 10) at 8:07pm we did receive an email from Groupon requesting an update on if the pass was used and if it could be refunded. We have responded to them letting them know they are approved to process the refund.

Th date of this incident is 11/22/2023. Initially, I believed to have paid $22.00 for parking at a ParkWhiz in *******, **. I was sent a barcode to scan at this parking facility. Upon arriving at the facility, the barcode failed to scan, and I was informed that I wasn't "in the loop". As I had driven the 100+ miles to attend an event, a passenger in my vehicle offered to pay for parking. At that point I had to get a parking stub to get the gate to lift, and my passenger paid upon departure. I attempted to resolve this with a credit card dispute, but then began receiving continual harassing emails from ParkWhiz.Business Response

Hi, I'm a user of your app, ********************. I ordered two passes last evening, but both of them didn't work at the entry gates. The machine cannot read the code and The parking lot office tried to help me solve this problem for half an hour, it still didn't work. So I went home and does not park. I haven't use any of these two pass and the amount of the passes are 13 and 18 respectively. I try to connect to this terrible companys customer service, but they try to avoid my question and hang up my phone quickly. On 12/2/2023 I booked a parking space through the Park Whiz app but when I got there the garage was full. I used Park Whiz to book another location and tried to contact them about a refund for the first space. I paid for my parking space for the Elevation Nights concert in Dlaas, ** on October 11, 2023. I canceled the first space and bought one closer to the venue for my disabled friend to be able to walk. I ended up having to cancel both parking spaces due to getting Covid. They sent me emails stating that my refunds had been processed. I have never received either refund. After some investigation, here is what we've found.
Booking ********* for $65.98 was purchased directly through TicketMaster. As that is the case and the booking was canceled (see attached screenshot) the payment was not made to us, rather it was made through TicketMaster. In order to find out more about that refund, you will need to reach out directly to Ticketmaster.
Booking ********* for $69.83 was purchased through ParkWhiz. This booking was canceled and refunded back to your **** card ending **** (see attached receipt) on October 10th. This should be the proof you need to show to prove that it was in fact refunded back to the account with which you paid.

I paid for event parking on Ticketmaster and my parking info was not given to me for the event- I couldnt reach anyone on the phone. I never received an email or address on my app for parking that I paid for and we drive to many different parking garages nearby. On this day, I paid for parking upon entering and needed more time as my appointment ran over so I paid for an additional hour. On 11/11, I received a text from Park Whiz stating that they noticed I didnt pay for parking and that I needed to pay $50. I immediately disputed this with the link provided by text. I then called to confirm they received the dispute and was advised it would take 5-7 business days. Days passed and I never heard anything from this company. The agent told me it would take 5-7 (or 10) business days before Id receive a response. I allowed that time to pass and called back. This time the agent seemed to be unable to locate the dispute but then located it and said it was still pending. I gave more business days and called again and the agent advised the same. I checked the dispute link over the weekend and now they want me to pay $80.00. I called this past Sunday, 12/3, and was advised again that it was pending but the agent did send an email to a supervisor and copied me. She also advised that I should receive a response by Monday, 12/4. I didnt. I sent an email today to follow up on that email and have yet to receive a response from the supervisor, *******************************.Business Response

I am rejecting this response because:I am confirming that I received a response from the business. As a matter of fact, 3. ** 12/6, the first representative replied that the citation had been voided. Later on, the same day, a different representative replied that I paid for parking at the wrong garage location and that I should request a refund from the third-party app that I paid for (I paid by Park Whiz app, per usual, and no third party) and just pay ParkWhiz $9. Both garages (Union - correct garage and 2nd St. - incorrect garage) are both on ParkWhiz's app. I pay this way every single time. Why do I need to request a refund and pay the same company again? Why is the Citation so hard to find in your own system? Why am I receiving different responses from different reps? ** 12/11, another representative asked yet again for the citation number (although I keep listing it and it is in the email subject). I have once again provided a screenshot of the receipts, the citation number (as nothing came in the mail, just a text), and the email from the first representative stating that the citation was voided.

ParkWhiz Team,I'll be keeping this case open with BBB as this company is highway robbery.
I scanned the PARKWHIZ QR code inside of the Union Ave location and paid the garage that popped up, but it was definitely my fault for not validating your system to ensure it was allotted to the correct parking garage that my vehicle was in (Union Ave). The same way you are able to send photos of the back of my license plate to say that I did not pay for parking, I'm sure someone is able to research on your side to see that my vehicle never and has never been inside the garage on (2nd St.) on 11/10 or any other day.
Also note, that ParkWhiz refuses to refund me for the parking payment I made to the 2nd Street garage on 11/10 although I clearly never went inside the 2nd St garage on this day or any other. Oppose to being able to refund me MY MONEY, you want me to take the loss from paying for parking and then pay $95.00?
ALSO, more confusion - I received yet another email from ****** this morning (attached) stating that a citation ****** that I have no clue what or whom that belongs to is voided. Your team as a whole will say absolutely anything yet know absolutely nothing.
In the end, this is the way that ParkWhiz makes money - robbing consumers. This is why you have the current 'F' rating on BBB. This is why people go to news about such a disorganized establishment. ParkWhiz hasn't attempted rectify a single thing in this issue and I would rather walk 10 blocks before parking in another garage that is ran by such an uncouth company who is of no assistance to consumers when an issue arises.

I purchased all day parking at ****** Garage at *************************** through Park Whiz.When I got to the fridge, the vet use scanner did not work, so I had to take a ticket.I immediately called Park Whiz (12/3/23 @ 7:24 am) and was told by their representative, ****************, that I would have to pay again, but to send her the receipt along with the make and model of my car and my arrival and departure times. This I did as a reply to the email she sent me. There was no response at all. So, I called the next day at 1pm and via a recorded message was told that due to high call volume, no one could answer. I had an option to text, leave a messsge or send an email. I did all three and STILL no one has gotten back to me from 1pm in the afternoon u til 6pm now.I want my garage fee returned.Business Response

On 12.2.2023 at a parking lot in downtown ***********, I scanned the Parkwhiz QR code, paid $25 plus fee for a total of $27.62. I received an email that stated "Parking Confirmed", the email stated you space is booked. I had entered my card info and the license plate. It also gave me a Parking Pass #, the location, and time I entered and should exit by. I arrived before the ************ and my vehicle was no where to be found. My vehicle had been towed away. The towing company charged me $230.31. If the parking space was not secure why was I charged for the parking and then my vehicle towed away. This is a scam with Parkwhiz as you should have seen the amount of people that were waiting in line to retrieve their vehicles. I would like the full refund of the towing expense of $230.31.Business Response

While you booked your parking pass through ParkWhiz, we do not own or operate the lot where you parked. We only contract with the lots to provide parking - we do not provide enforcement or towing services.
Before we can move forward with this, we recommend reaching out to the operator of the lot to see if that have any proof of why you were towed as the reimbursement should come from them and not ParkWhiz. The operator of that lot is: Platinum Parking and their # is **************. The *** is a ***************************.
