I secured a parking space from Park Whiz after searching online for Premium parking spots online, I had the choice of Park Whiz or another app. I went with Park Whiz because I thought I would have a good experience. I had a volunteer event in ***********, for Super Bowl Week on 2/8/2025 at 4:30PM, I went online, and I purchased a spot at a Premium Parking Location. I paid $42.50 as the app offered me a discount off the usual amount. I accepted and paid to secure a spot at 735 CAMP ST - P130 and I was given a parking pass #********* and it stated my driver's license would serve as a protection until 12AM the next day. When I returned my car was booted and I had to pay for the parking spot in addition to a $90 boot removal fee. When I contacted your customer service I was told I needed to reach out to the garage attendant because they were just a third party and could not do anything about it. I opened a case to fight it and I was told they never received any payment from Park Whiz. This is unfair. I was given the impression I had nothing to worry about. Now I ended up paying an additional $157.80 for a total of $200.30 for a parking spot.

      Hi Velvet,

I'm so sorry to hear about your poor experience. We do have standards in place for our operators, and our account managers are consistently working to ensure our locations meet those standards.

We processed a refund for your parking pass on February 25. While we release the funds immediately, depending on your bank it can take 3-5 days to hit your account.

Again we apologize for the frustration and inconvenience.

      Thank you,

THAT WAS NOT IN MY BUDGET & I TRUSTED YOUR COMPANY TO STAND BY MY PARKING ARRANGEMENTS.  I WAS LEFT IN A DANGEROUS SITUATION ALONE WITH MY CAR BOOTED AT NIGHT.

      Complaint: 22939565

I am rejecting this response because: I am not satisfied. It is not my fault they were having communication problems with Premium Parking. In all fairness Premium Parking did not get paid although I paid them in good faith. When they rejected my request to waive the fee and checked their records, they did not see anything, making me look like a law breaker and put in a dangerous position. I am serious about Park Whiz being held accountable. I am trying to peacefully resolve this by having them clear the boot fees. Im so serious that I have my lawyer ready to act if they dont take responsibility for this. It will cost them much more than the boot fees. Thank you.

      Sincerely,

      Velvet *** *****

I picked up my car from a parking lot we booked on the Park Whiz app, parking from Dec *****. It was a sketchy place which we realized when we dropped off the car on Dec 25 early in the AM, and had no other option in order to catch a flight. When we picked up, was dark and raining. They had my car pulled up in an alley off the lot, and running, with the door open and no one around. We looked and couldn't find someone, so we got in and left. It wasn't until the next day when I realized they damaged my car and tried to cover it up with paint, which I have photos of. I went to the ** dealership to confirm this was paint or something that someone tried to cover up. I then went to the auto body shop for an estimate, which is included as well. I have text a few times with the parking lot, sent them images, etc. I asked for their email to email them the estimate, and the email didn't work. We spoke on the phone today, and he is claiming no responsibility, stating that had we pointed it out the night we picked up the car, they would take care of it. It was 1000% them that did this, as I rarely drive my car and there wasn't damage to it before. And they clearly know they did it because they tried to paint over it with matte black paint primer or something, which the auto body buffed off so we could see the damage underneath. Mind you the lot is billed as a 'valet' lot, so it was not me parking and moving my car around. Park Whiz continues to deny a refund for my parking, nor any help in getting correct management contact information nor an email address to help resolve the issue directly with Park **********. I don't see why I should pay Park Whiz, who gets a commission of the lot's money, for a service that damaged my car in the estimated amount of $2500-4500 (I have 3 estimates).

      Complaint: 22872002

I am rejecting this response because:  I would like to know how much money Park Whiz received from the nearly $80 booking I booked on their app.  Nothing is for free, and of course some of it went to the parking lot that they support on their app, but a piece of it went to them.  I don't want to pay for any service 'which is using their app to book parking'. If they won't respect responsibility for the terrible providers on their app, then they should accept responsibility that I refuse to pay $$ for the service of not only using an app, but parking in a lot, where my car suffered over $2500 worth of damage.

Nothing is for free, and Park Whiz made money off of my personal property damage and destruction.

I paid for parking in advance through Ticketmaster. Their hired staff scanned my QR code for the paid parking and stated I was good to pull forward. More than a month later I receive a bill from Parkwhiz stating I did not pay for my parking and are charging me parking (that I paid for) plus a $25.25 fee. They are flrefusing to accept my Ticketmaster payment detail that shows I paid the parking fee with my purchase of the tickets.

We purchased parking in a ******* garage for 3 days surrounding Christmas. Upon arrival our ** code did not work. The attendant let us in. However we were supposed to have in and our privileges throughout our time there, and the ** code did not work not even one time. Sometimes the garage attendants were nice and let us in, but other times they argued with us and said that we did not have in and our privileges. We contacted ParkWhiz customer service to ask for a new ** code to be issued and received no response. We ultimately ended up leaving the garage a day early because it was such a headache and we did not have reliable access to our car given the non-functional ** code. We have requested a refund for the final day of our parking since we could not use it but ParkWhiz has again not responded. It seems to be impossible to get in contact with them to resolve any issue.

I ordered tickets to an Aztecs basketball game through stubhub and they offered to sell me tickets to the event, offered by ParkWhiz. The parking tickets were described as ******************** Lot and I purchased them. The parking is actually located in downtown *********, nowhere near ************, a completely different area of town. The seller or course knew this when they described them as ******************** Lot, so they are using deception to dupe customers.

      Business Response

      Date: 12/31/2024

      Hi *****,

      We apologize for the confusion!

Unfortunately, passes purchased from websites like TicketsCenter, Seatgeek, Stubhub, or Vivid Seats are likely resold to you at an enormously inflated rate over the actual value. ParkWhiz Terms of Service are null and void for any passes purchased through a reselling site, and in case you experience an issue with your pass, youll need to reach out directly to the service through which you transacted to seek a refund/reimbursement, as ParkWhiz is not liable for these sales.

Although we do not condone this, we lack control over the activities of resellers on external websites. We apologize once more for any inconvenience or confusion this may cause.

      Thank you,

      The ParkWhiz Team

      Complaint: 22738067

I am rejecting this response because:

The response addresses the cost of parking and my complaint is not about the cost. It is about the deception of parkwhiz in representing the parking as being ************************ (see original attachment) when they are actually downtown, miles away from ************. This is fraud perpetuated by parkwhiz and they used stubhub to facilitate their fraud. A form response about fees is inadequate. There should be consequences for profiting from this deceptive and intentionally dishonest practice.

      Hi ********,

      We apologize for the confusion!

It looks like you purchased this pass from a third-party website.

I booked this parking near the opera through ParkWhiz on 11/02/24 and paid $20.14 (parking pass #*********). When I got to the parking, the attendant rudely informed me that there is no space and the fact that I had a prepaid reservation is not a guarantee of getting a space. He offered no apologies or ways of remedying the ********** a result, I had to drive around looking for parking, which made me late to the opera, and we had to sit the first act (out of two) out because they don't admit latecomers to the auditorium. Moreover, I paid $48 for the new parking, as opposed to the $20 I was supposed to pay for the reserved one.I sent ParkWhiz a request to remedy this problem on 11/3/24. They created a ticket for it but didn't get back to me. On 11/16/24, I followed up on the ticket, and received an email from ParkWhiz asking to confirm the parking location. I have not heard from ParkWhiz since.I would appreciate your assistance in resolving this matter. Ideally, I would like to at least get a $48 refund that I spent for parking.

      Hi Fanit,

      We apologize for the inconvenience!

Our response times are slower than desired right now due to heavy volume. Our agent has replied to your original email on Dec 3 and provided you with a full refund for your parking pass. While we release the funds immediately, depending on your bank it can take 3-5 days to hit your account.

Again we apologize for the frustration and inconvenience.

      Thank you,

      The ParkWhiz Team
