This company is a scam. They charged $40 online for parking in the lot for an event and when we got there the sign and at the gate was only charging $20 and they refuse to refund the extra money.

I attended New York Comic Con and utilized the ParkWhiz application, a service facilitating the identification and reservation of parking facilities.
The daily parking fee was 25 dollars. However, upon arrival at the parking garage, I encountered an additional 25 surcharge, resulting in a total cost of fifty dollars.
I expressed my dissatisfaction with this unfair business practice to the garage management, who advised me to seek a refund from ParkWhiz. Subsequently, I contacted ParkWhiz, only to be informed that they could only provide a partial refund of twenty-five dollars, as the garage was responsible for the overcharge and ParkWhiz did not own the facility.
In my opinion, the ownership of the garage is irrelevant. I had anticipated a parking fee of 25 dollars and should not have been subjected to additional charges. Consequently, I believe a full refund of fifty dollars would have been appropriate.
I am still awaiting the refund for the overcharged amount from yesterday.
Furthermore, the aforementioned parking garage overbooked its capacity for the event, resulting in an additional wait time of one and a half hours each day for me.
Based on these experiences, I have decided to discontinue using the ParkWhiz application after receiving my pending refund. Moving forward, i will be deleting the app and using one of their competitors and I will actively discourage my professional network, including friends, family, and colleagues, from utilizing this application due to the aforementioned incidents.
I'm sorry but I maintain the position that I have not been adequately compensated for the inconveniences and financial losses incurred. Along with the added stress that should not have trying to enjoy my time at New York comic con

This app refused to issue a refund for booking me with an oversold lot even though I immediately purchased a pass for a lot next door. I requested the refund 16 days later while doing my accounting, and they would not issue a refund or credit because it had been more than 14 days. As someone who used the app on a weekly + basis, I can no longer give them money in good faith. An absolute disgrace, and a faulty product to sell passes that cannot be used.

The parking is a scam. I paid in advance for a parking place in *********, **. the charge online was $40.00. When I got to the lot there was a sign for $3.00. I asked for a refund, and am now getting the runaround about how I bought from a third party, even though the receipt I have for my purchase is from ParkWhiz and the place I am supposed to send my concerns is to the main office in ********. Further, the person responding to my emails (because you cannot get in touch with a real person), keeps addressing me by an incorrect name, even though my name is in the original email and in all of the email signature blocks. Absolutely NO customer service. DO NOT PARK in any of their parking lots or do not buy online.

Booked a reservation back in February for an event(also made sure it was an actual event booking) just for park whiz to tell me they had to cancel my reservation and then give me a 5 dollar coupon to "help me" with another booking. Their reasoning was "due to an event, there's limited spaces". Went back on the website and saw there was parking availability but the prices went up almost 5x the original cost.

I booked a parking space as I normally do and I normally get a confirmation to my email. This time I didn't and when I went to see what was wrong, they had a wrong email address. I feel this is another scam coming down through the pike. I have used Park Whiz many times and all of a sudden they don't have the correct email address for me. I can get hold of anyone at ParkWhiz when I call, they suggest to text and when I did they suggest doing a live chat, but they have no option for that on-line. I now have a parking pass number that I am not certain will really scan when I get to the spot. I had previously had an issue when I got to a spot, they didn't have any left even though I paid and had a reservation. I needed to get to work and so I had to pay for a very expensive spot. It is really difficult to get a refund, you have to upload the pass and it doesn't upload properly. Why are these people still in business with a one star rating and so many complaints. Frustrated customer.

Reserved a spot in a parking lot but when I arrived there were zero spots available. I attempted to book another spot, but there were not any lots open in the vicinity. I also tried to call parkwhiz with no answer and was only able to leave a voicemail (Which I still have not received a call back 2 weeks later). It took me 30 minutes to find a spot in a non Parkwhiz lot and I was then late to my event. I called parkwhiz and tried to address this with them, but their extremely poor customer service would instead like to lose a customer. They had no answers of what I was supposed to do in this scenario, but instead that they can't do anything for me. Parkwhiz made a bad partnership with an unreliable lot and it is their responsibility to take care of their customer. They offered no compensation for the additional $70 I had to pay for a last second lot. Go to their competitors SpotHero instead because parkwhiz doesn't care about you. Look at their overall review, clearly I'm not the only one who they decided to lose as a customer.

Paid $50 online for parking spot. When I got to the parking lot on time was told by attendant that game was canceled. The parking lot was half full and he said he would not let any more cars in. I showed the e ticket and he said did not matter. Park whiz after one month and 6 correspondence eventually decided that a refund was not warranted. As a one time courtesy they would credit me on the app. What good is that to me. I live hours away. And the credit expires. Nice business model, sell service, deny the service, then say no refund
