      The building got a Gas Shut Off notice for an outstanding bill of $5,937.97 that has not been payed. This notice is on the front door of the building. Its just not right to the tenants who has gas in their unit if it gets shut off.

      I gave my Section 8 voucher to CYM Living/office manager, and they never sent it to *** for processing caused me to lose my voucher and remove from the *** program, I have filed complaint with the **********************************. CYM Living will not respond to their error nor accommodate my rent.

      I have sent several letters to the CEO CYM Living and got no response. The staff at their *********** location did not send my RTA packet to the subsidy department; the property manager ******* would only tell me that the staff I met with are no longer with the company and offered no more information. 

       

      I need the CEO from CYM Living (formerly) Pangea *********** to contact me and discuss this urgent matter it is not my fault that I was kicked out of the *** program.

      I am rejecting this response because: I have stated to CYM Living that I had an appointment June 20, 2022 with their 71st street office, I met with the office manager and clerk I handed my 100plus page documents section 8 voucher they reviewed and completed the *** packet they made a copy for me and said they would forward my packet to their subsidy department but subsidy said they never received the packet from CYM Living 71st office, because *** failed to send my voucher to subsidy CYM Living caused me to be kicked out of the *** Program. *** has done nothing wrong, however CYM Living has caused me to lose my voucher and no one from CYM Living has corrected the problem to adjust my rent. Again, CYM Living did not do their job.

      Yes I was approved for a rental feb 26th, didn't find a unit until mar 16th signed a lease and paid a move in fee. Mar 25 i was told that I wouldn't be able to move .

      I was told I was approved for the *** and then I was denied for apparent reason. Will like refund as soon as possible.

      Ive have been with CYM since they have been Pangea . The current unit Im in had a starting rent of $1,060. Year 2 came and then the rent increased to $1,080 totally fine bc this is ********** housing so that still affordable year 3 the rent INCREASED dramatically to $1,165 Im confused why my rates keep going so high when my downstairs neighbors have no rental assistance like myself and are still paying a Lower price. THIS IS ********** ! We live over east not up north! I know Chicago doesnt have rent control but the fact that we are in the same building with the same amenities which are none. I would like a detailed explanation on itemized pricing . I will be reaching out to the office again tomorrow but as a business that isnt offering any more or any less to anyone in the same building how can that be ? The pricing on the renewal letter is also incorrect it makes no sense that for 15 months its $1185 but for 14 its $1175 yall are pulling numbers out the sky . That makes no sense . I have attached my neighbors offers and my offer below to show the BIG gaps in what they offered me and offered her . My income has not changed !

      I have been contacting my apartment leasing office for months to get things that needs to be fixed in my apartment. First it was my son carpet mold growing under his carpet and in his bathroom. I recently contacted the office January ****** I spoke with ***** the office manager. He stated he put the work order in weeks go by I ask again he said he had to order pieces for the door. I asked again he said he had to get someone over here to look at the door. I stated you told me you had to order pieces for the door, which one is it. Today February ******* I called the office and asked to speak to ***** the assistant lied and said he wasnt in the office today. I called again he answered the phone. I ask him about my work orders he ask me what work orders. He goes to look in his system an tell me orders has been completed. I sent in pictures Ive called and nothing is being done.

      I live in " ********* on 79th" in ************ In , I've been trying to get maintenance to address mold and broken appliances for months now. Every time I call the office no one answers. I went into the office multiple times and no one in there is ever helpful , telling me the same thing "maintenance will be over to fix it", they never do. I had to wait 6 months for maintenance to come and fix the leak under the kitchen sink which caused mold . I've now been waiting 4 months for them to come back and address the mold. My dryer has now stopped working and its been an absolute nightmare to get in touch with maintenance and the office. I've had to go into the office multiple times within the past three weeks for the same thing. ******** (office staff) told me to " file a lawsuit , and to stop coming into the office". She told me that no one would be coming to fix the dryer . She told me this while I was standing in her face calling the office phone just to come to realization that the ringer was turned off/ silenced and that's why none of the over 1000 calls I made to them weren't answered . Rent is $1300 , and this unit comes with a washer and dryer just to not be able to use it . At this point I'm looking for a decrease in rent , or something prorated until these issues are resolved . I feel very ignored and neglected as a paying tenant.

      Did not hold up to its deal. After having us pay for a credit check and was denied the company lied about speaking with us on the phone. We called them and then was told to write a letter regarding the denial of the application. Its not on the website nor when you speak with a representative seeing the apartment. You then will be denied have to call and tells you speak with the property for more information. You follow the steps and then they tell you submit a letter in writing. After they took your money.

      It is mold growing on my walls in my kitchen ,bedrooms, and living room. My ceilings are leaking my floors are rising up . I put in several work orders . Maintenance came and sprayed mold spray on the walls s d wiped it off. 3 days later mold came back on the walls but this time it has fur on the walls . Ive put in orders for the zone lead to call me I have not received any call backs.

      No my complaint had not been resolved yet . Things are getting worse water is leaking on every wall mold is on every wall and also there is now bugs in my windows where the mold and water is . I can not use my kitchen due to this or sleep comfortably in my own apartment .  Ive had to throw away my whole entire pantry of food as well as my cabinet because of the mold . My tv on the wall was damaged from water leakage and my clothes also have mold on them where the wall is leaking in my living room closet .

      I am rejecting this response because:
      On the 17th I saw units at 7930 s ingleside. The 2 units I saw on ingleside I picked the second floor unit on the 18th . When I texted my property manager ******* he called me verified and I was told that the unit will be off the market for me to move in as soon as possible . On the 23rd I was told to come sign my lease . While I was there I was told that someone signed the lease for the apartment I picked on the 21st and they were moving in on the 28th. I was told to come back at 2pm so they can figure somethings out . When I came back at 2pm I was never told I was signing a lease on a new unit that I didnt pick or seen yet. I thought this was the 2nd floor unit I seen. When I was moving my things in the apartment is when I notice this was not the same 2nd floor unit I seen on the 17th. Moving my things in I seen roaches and I am very upset.
