5 starsI was at the McDonald's at ************************************************************************************************. I had such an amazing experience with this location. The service was top notch. The Food was fresh. The place was very clean. The staff was so friendly that I noticed everybody had a smile. Even the Manager came out to greet me. Her name was *************************. She was extremely professional and enlightening. This location is very well ran. Their management really knows what they are doing and understands the value of customer service. I have been to multiple ********************** locations but none as even close to as Excellent as this one was. They made my day and I want to make sure that they are rewarded. They deserve it. 3 starsI ordered the same items for breakfast. Nothing makes me angrier than a corporation continously overcharging to line their pocket. I've made this a known issue, calling the 800# for corporate was a waste of my time. Someone has to own this error. #donewiththebsscam.I want my $1.22 returned asap.MCDONALDS charged me for food that I didn't order. They added the cost for bacon in, then instructed the kitchen to remove it while increasing my bill.Store ***** in ****** IL.5.21.24 total $8.49 5.22.24 total $7.19 Same store, same food ordered at the drive thru speaker. When I contacted customer service she heard my complaint but never offered to refund the money. When I inquired about it ahe referred me back to the store to discuss with the manager.1. That is not helpful. If I wanted to go that route I would have never contacted corporate. Corporate **************** is a joke and waste of resources. 2. I do not get paid to educate their staff. That's their job to teach all to ring orders up correctly while not scamming the customer. 3. I want the $1.22 returned to me.**************** claims someone will call me back but she couldn't tell me the area code they would be calling from or the timeframe. She (Calea) would only state as soon as possible. I asked when I should follow up if I didn't hear back...1 week, 2 weeks, etc and she responded that she didn't know.Review fromStephanie L

1 starOn Friday 05/10/2024 at approximately 0445 I arrived at the Wellington McDonalds to get breakfast and at 0448 I placed my order at the drive thru order screen. At 0449 I pulled up and paid for my order using my bank debit card and pulled up to the pickup window at 0450. After a minute or so the attendant advised me that the gravy would take 4 to 5 minutes and I replied ok. At 0453 cars started to line up behind me and there was no attendant in sight, so I pulled into the waiting space #1. Then at approximately 0455 I shut off my vehicle and went inside to see if my order was ready and stood at the counter for 2 minutes and could not get anyone’s attention. I could not wait any longer or I would have been late for work, so I made the comment that this was ridiculous and went back to my vehicle and left at 0457.
Later at 0527 I called the Wellington McDonalds from work and requested that I not be charged for the breakfast I never received. The woman that I spoke to advised me that I would need to go to my bank to get a refund. She additionally stated that after 4 minutes she was looking for me and could not find me which was not true. I advised her that I had to move because traffic was backing up and that I even came inside to get my food and she responded to me that was not true. I advised her that I had a dash cam on the vehicle and the times and actions were being recorded. (I recommend you check your security camera and check the times). My card was charged $4.88 at 0449 for an item which I never received. I attempted to rectify this by phone directly with McDonalds with no avail.Review fromEdward K

1 starTried to use receipt code - buy one get one. Manager fires back that I cannot use the receipt code. They are not corporate but privately owned. The receipt I got says the same: Complete the survey, buy one get one of equal or lessor value. She shot back that everyone wants free food and she was not giving me what was due to me. NOT CORPORATE but subscribes to the Corporate standard? This place needs an overhaul and retraining on customer service and customer care. 1 starHere's the review I had previously left for the McDonald's at ***************************************I love getting food from here all the time. They tend to get my order correctly. Except, they always forget the sauce. Like literally every single **** time. They remember the extra ingredients or not to add certain things. But always forget when I ask for sauce. Doesn't matter what time of day it is. They'll just forget about it.Update: I thought I should give the place a second chance. How wrong I was. Their customer service is horrible. They laugh at their customers when we voice they got an order wrong. They toss things at you when you ask for them nicely. And the managers could care less. It's like they enable this horrible behavior from their employees. Oh and let's not forget the guy handed me coffees that weren't even closed right. An entire iced coffee, glad it was cold by the way; fell over, all over me as I drove away. Just imagine the damage if it had actually been a hot coffee. I can't believe McDonald's is now hiring just about anyone. What's next? Throwing hot coffee at customers too?! HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. ********.Review fromTracy J

She has a very very bad attitude telling the customers this morning they had better use the kiosk she wasn't ringing up any orders at 8:16 am on 4/12/2024 ticket number was 82. I proceeded to use kiosk it would not take my card so I still had to pay her whereas I asked if I still have to pay why couldn't I just order here where she walked away into the back saying that lady up there is rude and some other things whereas I proceeded back outside to the drive through and ordered when I approached the window she was rolling her eyes and when the man brought me my food he slung it on the little shelf and said here and walked away I waited and asked for a ketchup he yelled what did you say I said I said can I have a ketchup please he slung that up there and walked away. When I looked at my sandwich that was supposed to have light sauce it was smothered in sauce and meat and egg was fine so I proceeded to leave and said I didn't trust them to make me anything else and that I would call corporate and launch a complaint! I spent ***** cents and had to throw the whole thing away! Please teach your "managers" that they can't treat customers like that and you all lost a good customer I will not be going back to that location! 1 starThey was supposed to give me a refund. Then they reversed it. I had horrible experience while waiting on my food. Then I never got my food at all. I tried to call them; they answered the phone and then laid it down. I have sent several complaints online also.Review fromLucas P
