      My daughter used WellNow. They never sent a bill. We received a collections notice only. DO NOT go to WellNow. Find another urgent care.

      Billing department is a scam. Their systems are extremely faulty. Took my daughter for a sports physical, which required prepayment prior to even being checked in. I did that and received a receipt. Then 2 weeks after the visit I was sent a bill. They mixed up patient numbers and could not be resolved by proactively calling. I had to email the receipt received from them to a general email address and got no response. Instead received repeated phone calls and text message saying I had overdue payment. Calling again I was now told I had to provide proof of payment by sending copy of credit card statement. I did that 3 times. Re-forwarding the same email as I continued to get harassing calls about lack of payment. Every time I called, they claimed I did not send the proof of payment. So while on the phone I would resend the SAME email while the representative said the needed info was received and would be resolved. But again several days later, was called about missing payment. Something is seriously wrong with their email system and payment system. I had to repeatedly ask for this issue to be escalated and for confirmation of receipt and to stop receiving notifications regarding payment. I spent too much time trying to prove payment when their own systems dont even allow a patient to be seen without successful payment up front. I will NEVER go to a wellnow office again.

      I received an invoice and promptly paid it. One month later I received another bill saying my account was overdue. I have spoken to three different people and was told the receipt they provided me when I paid the bill was not acceptable proof of payment. What??? Makes no sense to me. I then had to send them a copy of my credit card statement proving I charged the payment. I was told they have to research this and make sure the payment was actually made. My credit card company is now involved trying to resolve this for me. I never heard of any company not accepting their own receipt as proof of payment. I will never go to Wellnow again!

      I received a bill from WellNow in July for services rendered over 2 1/2 years prior. I called to find out what it was for and was told they were re-filing with my insurance and not to pay the bill. I then received another bill on 9/7 stating that I still owed the money only to find out that they sent it to collections on 9/6, the day before I got the bill. WellNow says there is nothing they can do. I can't even pay the amount due because it was sent to collections. I tried calling the collection agency and they said there is nothing they can do since it takes 2-3 weeks to process the incoming paperwork. This is incredibly unprofessional that they don't even track their own payment directions to patients. We will never go to WellNow again and recommend you find alternate care as well.

      I rarely need to visit an urgent care but in the past I have chosen the Well Now on *********** in ***********, **. They had a clean environment and friendly staff. Today I had an eye injury and when I called my optometrist they advised me to visit urgent care for an exam. I got there and they handed me a tablet and told me to enter all my info and scan my ID and health insurance, a little annoying but I understand things change. I give the tablet back and the woman advised me I had a $40 copay. I told her I didn't have a copay, that I have ******** and to please check again. She again told me that it was a $40 fee, I showed her that my card even said $0 for urgent care. The woman next to her told me they can't go by what the card says, they have to go by their system and even if I have ******** I still have to pay the copay. I told her that was incorrect and to please verify my coverage. She asked me if I had a ******** card, I showed her my benefit card and she said that wasn't an insurance card and I had to pay the copay if I wanted to be seen. I left and went to ********** urgent care.... no copay, and they advised me to make a fraud complaint. Also on my way out the girls started laughing and saying I was rude for leaving... never again will myself nor my family visit any wellnow after this experience.

      *****. Went to our local WellNow many times, no issues before. This particular time they saw me quickly and sent me to the hospital ( never asked for payment, I knew I was in the system so figured they would send the bill.) ******* got a bill months later that said "FINAL NOTICE, WILL GO TO COLLECTIONS IF NOT PAID"- only to find out they TOOK my money out of my *** account the same day! Never got a bill until that day. No warning, and instead of $165, they took $400! I use that account for my son's therapy and they wiped it out. It has been a month now, and I am STILL waiting on the refund they said was "sent 10 days ago", or so they say. It should NOT take 10 days on top of waiting for it to be sent in the first place. I would have gladly paid the $165 I owed if they had actually SENT A ****. I see this has happened by reading other complaints. Awful way to do business. Never again going!

      I brought my autistic child into WellNow Urgent Care in **************, ** for a st*** test 5 months ago. I just received the first and only bill labeled "final notice" with a $375 charge with no sign of insurance claims from his ********* I called the WellNow billing department who stated they filed the claim but it was rejected by ********. After calling ********, the customer service *** stated that it had been rejected because there was a **************** on file and all WellNow needed to do was ***rocess the claim to both the **************** and ******** so the Vision will reject the claim and ******** will only then accept it. After speaking with 7 customer services ***s at ********************** they all refused to comply with ********* requirements to file the claim. I was referred to the ******** fraud department, ***************************** and my next call is to the billing complaint department. ******** insists that WellNow's billing department needs to be ***orted since they're refusing to comply with the claim requirement. ******** has always processed claims in this manner and WellNow refuses to do their job in ***rocessing the claim in the directed manner. I must say the doctors and employees at the WellNow facility took excellent care of my son and accept ********, that's why I take him there for medical care. HOWEVER, the billing department at WellNow, the WORST customer service experience I have ever received! They would rather leave the parents of a disabled child to pay a full medical bill than do their job and process a claim properly as directed by their in network insurance party?! I briefly wondered if this was a huge ask for WellNow until I spoke with a *** from ********************* who ran into the same issue; not only were they understanding and helpful, but resolved the issue in a 2 min phone call. If WellNow acted in the same appropriate manner than I wouldn't be needing to call around for someone, anyone to help!

      Went to lockport wellnow, the medical attention I got wa* great, but the billing and cu*tomer *ervice wa* the wor*t I have ever experienced, received 1 bill for my copay and paid it promptly, month* later *tart getting call* from debt collection that I owned ***** but I never *aw a bill called cu*tomer *ervice and they *aid they couldnt help me.       Their website clearly states that they do STI screenings. I usually go to ***********************************, but WellNow was much closer so I decided to go there instead. I tell the receptionist that I'm there for an STI Screening and fill out the paperwork. The provider walks in (*********************) and says "so it ***** when you pee?"No? I never said that. What a weird thing to assume.... I'm here for a yearly screening. He told me that he's never heard of that in 26 years of being in the medical field. Then he says sorry for the wait and leaves. So they only collected a urine sample. No blood draw. This is not how you preform a STI screening. So now I have unusable test results and a fat $300 bill because of their false advertisement. If you don't do STI screenings, don't say you do on your website. I had to plan a second visit with *********************************** to do it properly. And pay again. AVOID THIS PLACE

      I received a bill 2 year 5 months after my visit stating I was turned into a collecting agency. It didn't matter that I never received a ***** ***** changed my address, never changed my email address, ***** changed my phone number. Since it has been turned in to the collection agency they cannot answer any of my questions because they state they cannot see anything, But I can log onto Well now and pay my bill. Make this make sense. Well now blamed it on my insurance and I check with insurance and they paid their part of the bill in a timely manner.
