I visited 12/30/2023 and paid and provided my insurance, I am just now getting a statement for 9/20/24 due 10/5/24 saying I owe $350. The provided phone number does not exist, I cannot find an email to contact. I have been on Hold for over an hour, and the location in my state is now permanently closed. Not to mention a data breach I am reading about online. I fear this will tarnish my credit for a bill I do not owe forWellNow Urgent Care

I went on 6/9 for an injury. My insurance was in network, and I told staff I hit my maximum out of pocket and would owe nothing. I was still charged $87.78 and was told I would get a refund. They got my money... plus the insurance company paid on June 17th. Yet, I have received no refund. Initially, I kept getting ridiculous excuses. Now they won't answer calls or emails. So, WellNow, don't bother to respond with some BS response. Clearly, you do not take patient complaints seriously, or you would stay true to your word.WellNow Urgent Care

I took our daughter in to have her eye looked at. We made our co-pay at the time of the visit. I provided our insurance card (front and back). About a week later, we received a statement in the mail indicating a balance due which should have been covered by insurance. I have been on hold for hours waiting for someone to take my call. I would not recommend anyone using a WellNow Urgent Care office. Find something else.WellNow Urgent Care

Gone to Well Now in ********** ** several times and service was great! But the last time was a nightmare! I injured my Achilles on a storm door, got stitches, asked for antibiotic and they said I didn't need it, I told them I know my body, but nope no antibiotics. 5 days later...boom infection, pain, so I went to the urgent Care, they had a sign on the door SORRY DUE TO UNDERSTAFFING THIS OFFICE IS CLOSED! Returned the following day, did a skin culture on my wound, sent it out, 2 days later they are calling me to tell me I had MRSA! Never had it in in my life! Then they gave me antibiotic! I was furious! So the two appts my copay was $25 the staff argued with me saying it's $50 it was not! I finally got a hold of billing and they also gave me grief saying to call back when the insurance pays the claim, they had already paid it! So I called back they said they would send a refund check for $50 that was 2 months ago! I'm still waiting! Anyway as I write this I've been on hold for 55 minutes with billing, no one has answered and a recording continues to tell me due to unusually high call volume please hang on the line your call will be answered in the order it was received! Yeah right! This is totally unacceptable! I want my refund and I will use this urgent care ever again!WellNow Urgent Care

This morning, I went to the WellNow Urgent Care in ******, **. I am a senior citizen and have *************** Insurance. The receptionist insisted that their "system" also needed to see my ******** Card. I explained I was told by my insurer to never use my ******** Card, that their card covers both! The receptionist then told me that I would be responsible for a $40 co-pay, even though my insurance card states $0 copay. After a very lengthy discussion which I stood firm, I was finally seen and treated. Upon leaving, I called *************** Insurance and related my experience. They apologized and assured me that I indeed have no co-pays & no need for my ******** Card. For anyone that finds themselves in a similar situation, I would highly encourage them to leave the facility and seek another Urgent Care.WellNow Urgent Care

My wife had a Covid test for a serious medical procedure. 2 years later we receive a collections notice for a $200 Covid test that was never billed to insurance. Have tried reaching out numerous times via phone and no one answers the phone, returns phone calls, or emails. Next step is the NYS Attorney Generals office.WellNow Urgent Care

I was incorrectly charged for a visit on 8/1/24. My insurance has paid in-full the allowable amounts. I have made 3 phone calls to WellNow to request reimbursement and sent 2 emails to their email. Every time I call the 800 # I am told a check should be arriving soon or that I would receive a call back. Neither has happened. I was a bit hopeful when I put a negative ****** review and they responded with a new email address. I sent an email. I received no response. That was 5 days ago. Tonight I sent another email requesting an update.I have spent so much time chasing the upfront money I was made to pay to receive care. Never again.WellNow Urgent Care

I brought my daughter in for a physical and was up charged for a different service then sent a bill for the difference. When I tried to inquire about the discrepancy and why it wasn't billed to our insurance, the billing department lacked training, follow through, and customer service. I was told on two occasions that a manager would get back to me. It has been two months, and no one has reached out. Why was I asked for a 'co-pay' when nothing was being billed to insurance? Why change the nature and price of the appointment without informing the client? Why send a 'past due' notice and have so many fruitless interactions for an issue that was solved in five minutes face to face in the clinic by a non-billing employee? We will not be visiting the clinic anytime soon and if anyone does, I will forewarn them to not only double check their insurance but also their billing. What you might save in time for the appointment you might just lose chasing down incongruent billing.WellNow Urgent Care
