They charged me $150 for a visit with no insurance, still tried to bill my last insurance of record and then sent me a bill for the amount I already paid 3 months prior with a threat to send to collections.WellNow Urgent Care

Absolutely horrible billing experience. Wellnow decided to charge a completely incorrect insurance code and instead of reaching out to me with the issue decided to charge a saved card on file. This then caused that account to be over drafted and I incurred another charged due to their neglect. After getting the run around on the phone with them for 2 weeks they finally issued my refund.... to a PO box in a city, I have never lived! I'm glad their bills have the correct address to get to my house, but the refund goes to a phantom PO box.WellNow Urgent Care

I was sick and needed to visit the local ugent care. I was denied services due to an unpaid bill from year prior. The unpaid service was never billed to my insurance, nor was a bill sent to my home address, even though all information was correct in their system and verified when I was there. I was unable to be seen and needed to seek medical help elsewhere. I recieved an "Immediate Action Required" bill a month later for this visit from over a year ago. They had finally filed with the insurance and the bill was for the remaining amount. I immediately paid the bill with confirmation number from my bank. A couple weeks later I received the same bill. I thought maybe the bill was mailed prior to receiving the payment from my bank, but a couple weeks after that I received another. I called WellNow and they informed me that they could see the payment was there but they turned it over to collections AFTER THE PAYMENT WAS RECEIVED. I have been working with collections on correcting WellNow's error and furious that I have invested so much time into their unprofessional, unreliable, and unorganized business.WellNow Urgent Care

If I could give a zero I would. We have been fighting a bill that they refuse to fix from our insurance company. They keep charging us $140 however we only owe $19.80. we have sent them countless emails, made several phone calls trying to get them to change it but they refuse. We have documentation of the emails with the letter of benefits attached from our insurance and everything. They sent the bill to collections instead of fixing the billWellNow Urgent Care

I was sent to WellNow for a pre-employment eval/physical. I had been there previously for an ear infection. The business for which I work has a contract with them so the visit is completely covered and billed to said company. Not only did WellNow send me a bill for the visit, they CHARGED MY BANK CARD FOR THE VISIT without my knowledge or permission. While disputing this with my company's HR, they told my representative that they were going to send me a check; when it would be easier and faster just to reverse the charge on the card (especially in 2024). The visit was in April, the bill came soon after, and the charge went through during the first week in May. I still have not received said check. This has caused overdraft after overdraft, and has been absolutely terrible. It's unfortunate that I'm now going to have to contact an attorney over something that should've been rectified immediately.WellNow Urgent Care

I went to WellNow in 2022. The appointment was billed incorrectly to my insurance company. They never send a physical bill to my address (they said they did). I begin to get collections notices. After hours on the phone with both WellNow and my insurance it was rebilled correctly and I was told no balance remained. This was in 2023. Last Week May 2024 I get a collections notice for the same item. I call WellNow they tell me I have 0$ balance. I call the collector they say the received a notice on April 29th 2024 for the bill. No one at WellNow would help clarify or correct the error. This is outrageous and terrible business practice. I have disputed this bill with the collectors, a process that could take time. This is all at the expense of my credit and my life when really there is no reason as I have a $0 balance. This should be 0 stars but it requires you at least leave one.WellNow Urgent Care

Actual facility and staff is wonderful. Billing is a nightmare. My daughter was on her fathers insurance which they incorrectly billed. I got a bill (on a Saturday which is their custom- shady) for 400 dollars. Both my ex husband and I called about this and corrected the situation. Three months later on another Saturday another bill comes for 400 and now Im threatened with collections. Absolutely ridiculous- do your job billing department. I have a feeling bills are sent because there are poor saps who will just pay them off without thinking about twice.WellNow Urgent Care

I visited a well care in ******** ******** this afternoon to get care for a loved one. We had waited over 2 hours, a nurse with a very bad attitude snapped at me that another woman came in and couldn't breathe, explaining this womans medical situation and what her care was going to be. I was put off by this as a fellow health care worker I don't believe it is appropriate to discuss another patients medical issues as it borders on violating hippa laws. I then am asked for my mother to come back in and as my mom was trying to enter the back area we had a random woman yell at us that we aren't allowed back there. I was shocked because she did not work there and tried to brush it off. This same woman continued to interupt my business and said I was a rude person for mentioning hippa laws to the nurse. I had enough of a stranger aggressively bossing me around and giving her unwanted and unneeded opinions. I firmly told her to please shut her mouth and shortly after the well now staff informed me I wasn't welcome there and I threatened another customer. They didn't ask how it happened or take into regard this woman had came at me first twice already. I am somewhat poor and she was a privileged white woman dressed better than me so of course she was believed without even consulting me what had happened. I am sick to my stomach with how I was treated there and that they allow random patients to boss others around and be nasty and when I voice that I don't want her speaking to me I am the bad person for that. When this woman had twice started with first when I had zero intentions of saying a word to her. I had enough when ignoring this woman didn't work and I had to be asked to be left alone, yet I'm the one who did something wrong here? This is not how you run a Healthcare facility the staff there are unprofessional and allow some customers to behave however they want and blame others who didn't even start the whole situation to begin with.WellNow Urgent Care

On December 21, 2021 I was injured on the job and have been out of work on Comp since. My initial contact with medical care was at Wellnow in ********. I had to visit this facility a couple times within that year due to COVID related scares. My insurance was supposed to cover the bulk of everything. ******'s Comp was supposed to take care of the rest. I have endured ongoing hassles with billing because they keep putting everything in and out of collection. Yesterday I received a notification from ***************** in an attempt to collect on $70.60 which should have been handled over two years ago, as this was part of my Comp case. Today I called Wellnow billing, only to be told by **** that "this bill was already taken out of collection over a year ago and I can't understand why you're getting a notification now from a collection agency". That makes two of us. But I have had more than enough of this. I don't owe them anything, and I just want to be left alone.WellNow Urgent Care

Got a bill for a service for my daughter in the ************, ** area for a date of 01/26/2018 with a bill for $138.16, but funny thing is we live nearly 150 miles away and she had seen her personal provider in **************** by coincidence 01/25/2018 and gotten a prescription! Was not even associated with Wellnow or this clinic as I happen to work at the clinic where my daughter went and would have been livid and climbed someone's a** if we would have been sent to collections. My daughter at the time was a minor and I would not drive over 150 miles to an UC when we have them around us and at the time there were NO Wellnow clinics in the area to my knowledge and would have taken her to one that takes our insurance. Anyway they sent my now adult daughter a collections letter from the ************* and I plan to turn them into the Illinois Attorney General for fraud.WellNow Urgent Care
