I was traveling for an ***************** in ** when my son fell ill. The treating nurse was pretty good despite being overwhelmed. The problem is this companies billing. Upon arriving home, I received an additional bill for a balance of $50 that my insurance didn't cover because this visit was out of state. I received a text message from WellNow stating if I paid the bill today, I would pay $42.50 to settle the bill which I did immediately, and it cleared my bank. Two months later on May 9, 2024, I get a call from Phoenix Collections stating my account with ********************** has been placed in collections for $50.00. I called WellNow billing, and they said they were now going to refund my $42.50 by check and I needed to pay Phoenix Collections. In my 65 years I have never heard of such a terrible thing and this company should be investigated for billing malpractice.

They started to double charge. They kept sending a bill, even texting about the bill. I sent in proof that I paid the day of the visit, giving a copy of the bank statement, they still refuse to correct it. Tried to give one more chance and they tried charging $100 when our copay is only $15.WellNow Urgent Care

Went to Wellnow in ** for a table saw injury in April 2022. Had to pay around $280 up front which is unusual but I paid since I needed treatment. Great five star doctor but over a year later I am still dealing with billing out of *******. My insurance paid the bill and Wellnow owes me over hundred dollars back. They did say that it was odd that I paid so much up front and keep saying they will refund me in two weeks and they never do. Billing is frustrating to deal with if you are lucky enough to get a chance to talk to anyone.WellNow Urgent Care

I have been doing the asbestos physical exam for my job for 3 years in Wellnow this clinic on ******************************* In my opinion the prices are more expensive every year, the figure they have when you pay online is not true, you have to be prepared to pay a few dollars more, I paid online $165 and at the clinic they asked me for about $75 more.In the year 2022 I paid $105 exam total.In 2023, my colleagues and I had to do and pay for lung plates, when these exams must be done every 5 years and mandatory by the work company, not by the Clinic.Now its current price in my City of ******** is $241 and 1 hour and a half away in the City of ********* the price is $80 for the same asbestos physical exam Regardless, they require that you make other types of tests mandatory, such as lung plaques, otherwise they will not give you the medical certificate of the examination with final resultand since they are private, they have the right to do what they want.The care provided by the professional nursing staff was excellent, but the welcome and attention at the reception was terrible, the worst of the mistreatment.I am very disappointed and it is my last year with this type of Clinic.WellNow Urgent Care

The fact they wont let you be seen until you pay a past due balance is absurd! Never asking a potential patient how they will pay but just telling them without payment you wont be seen. Never been to any urgent care, physicians office or er where that has been told.WellNow Urgent Care

If you have more than one insurance providor, don't visit tyhis place. They will process one of the insurance checks and keep billing you even after they get paid 100%. This is not right, and its not just a one off problem, it happens each time. I'll never go here again.WellNow Urgent Care

My credit card was charged $100.00 for the service I received the day I went. 15 Days later my credit card was charged $100.0 again- for the same service. After 3 phone calls of someone telling me they reversed the charge the representative tells me they only do Paper Check refunds and it will be 2 to 3 weeks before I receive it!!!WellNow Urgent Care

I had a horrible experience at this clinic...specifically with the girl that was working at the front desk. I was extremely sick (hence the reason for my visit) The girl at the desk, informed me that ALL patients must fill out the online registration forms via their phone, so I complied. I completed the forms and and was waiting patiently to be seen, when an older couple came in. She proceeded to tell them that since they are not tech savvy, that she would bypass the online registration process for them. She then led them back to see a Dr. while she kept me in the lobby area...waiting. I was there first, I completed the forms, as instructed, and I was ill. Apparently, since I am a few years younger, it's acceptable to discriminate against me? When I asked her why she did that, she wouldn't address my question, and left the lobby area. What a horrible person and an equally horrible facility for having some one like her under their employ.WellNow Urgent Care

Went to 2 urgent cares trying to get a tetanus shot first in Niagara Falls she told me I had to register thru online and do all theyre paperwork for them (which took me over a half hour to do a couple weeks ago when I took my son due to me having problems comprehending things I read) and then it would be at minimum an hour FOR A TETANUS SHOT ONLY and there was only 2 people waiting so I left as I had to pick my son up went to grand island one today and told her I have problems doing the online due to comprehension issues and she said well youll still have to do it in order to be seen even after telling her I looked up symptoms and am having a few including fever swearing for no reason(Im always cold) not to mention as soon as I walked in NOBODY ELSE EVEN IN THE WAITING ROOM SO CLEARLY NOT BUSY she rolled her eyes and acted like it was a problem to even talk to me. At this point I left again, confused as to how these receptionists are getting paid when we have to do theyre job for them and they wont even help or answer questionsWellNow Urgent Care
