Front desk receptionist at WellNow in ******* ** argued with me over how to pronounce my last name, kept calling me up to the desk because she apparently doesnt know how to do the job and got rude and snippy when I questioned their billing and why I wasnt alerted to a balance when I first checked in or when I made the appointment the day prior. When I told her there wasnt a need to be rude when patients are asking valid questions, she started muttering under her breath about not taking care of me. Then while I was in the room with the medical assistant, I very clearly heard her talking to someone and then heard the ** say we wont do anything for her then. Once the ** came into the room, she never looked at my injury, never even physically touched me to check if it was broken, just said they couldnt do anything for me, they didnt even have an X-ray tech(despite advertising that they do), sent a script out for a med I cant take due to stomach issues *** said for me to call an orthopedic doctor on Monday. Less than 10 minutes spent with me. I realize its urgent care but patients still deserve respect and a standard of care. I will be reporting the ** in question to the state board and disputing any charges. ThenWellNow Urgent Care

1 star because 0 isnt an option. I took my ill 5 year old to the Wellnow in/near ******** ** 7/30/23 with no one waiting in the parking lot or waiting room. They told me it was a 2 hour wait we were the only patients there. Then drove to ********* ** from and took over 2-3 hours to complete our visit. I paid $110 to be seen. They ran a rapid strep test and made me aware that it was $60 more. No one was at the counter for me to pay for that up charge when we left- I kept waiting but eventually had to leave to continue on our journey to an open pharmacy then to ****** assuming I would later get a bill. Today, 2/2/24, over 6 months later not only do I receive my 1st statement from Wellnow, but it brightly warns that my account is past due. The bill is not for $60 as it should be, but the bill is for $230!!! This is a joke! No simple strep test urgent care visit should be near $340 total! That business is not in the area where I live But if it were, Id slander them to every one I know. This is outrageous. Grossly over charging, extremely late billing with threat that Im the late party PLUS subpar care in the urgent care facility. How can this business be allowed to continue with such poor practices?!WellNow Urgent Care

They have a new "company policy"claiming that all patients with my insurance must now pay $105 deposit to be seen in their facility. Then once they have recieved money from the insurance company they will refund any overpayment. In the case of our insurance, we only have approximently a $40.00 coinsurance. So the company holds onto our $65.00 until they recieve payment from our insurance, and then will refund us. So I pay $105. My insurance also pays. And then two months after my visit, I am supposedly going to recieve my fund. I have contacted the billing department who is completely unhelpful. Management does not care and wont accept any phonecalls. Billng staff wont return emails, nor allow me to speak to anyone who can help. I have requested that my initial deposit be inline with what my co-insurance typically is and told that this is a company policy and there is no one I can talk to. Is it fradulent to knowingly charge more upfront then I will actually need to pay? I have asked to speak to anyone who can help me get this sorta out and have repeatedly been told, that is company policy and no one will speak to me.WellNow Urgent Care

I am not happy with wellnow in *************. I have insurance and I specifically asked if they accepted my insurance and the receptionist said yes. I get a bill and they billed me because my insurance was no longer accepted there as of may 2023. I went there on October 20, 2023. Because of the receptionists incompetence I am being penalized and have to pay as if I made a mistake here. I am a college student with insurance I dont even have funds. Highly upset and disappointed with the receptionist as well as well now.WellNow Urgent Care

I would place a 0 star rating if I could. Their billing department is very hard to deal with. The customer service agents are unhelpful and dismissive. They will refuse to transfer you to a supervisor to get more help. I have a bill I am trying to straighten out and cannot get any help.WellNow Urgent Care

I would not recommend Wellnow to anyone. They diagnosed my wrist injury incorrectly, provided me with a splint that was incorrect for the issue I was having (per my orthopedic) and then proceeded to bill $850 for the same splint you can go to ******* and get for $13.99. I filed a dispute over 3 months ago and have followed up on the dispute several times since then and their only response is "your issue has been escalated but no response has been received".WellNow Urgent Care

Veterans you don't have to go there. This is garbage care to collect a quick fee. Go to the hospital, it's cover also you just have to notify the VA within 3 days of going.WellNow Urgent Care

This place is horrible! My wife was feeling very ill so we decided to go to this WellNow in ********* ** on 12/26/23 when we walked in 2 hours before closing we were told they were not seeing any more people. So they made us an appointment for 6:30 the next day (12/27) on the 27th around noon they called to cancel the appointment because they double booked so my wife and I decided to show up there at 4:30 so she can been seen and we were turned away again and they made another appointment for us today (12/28/23) for 7pm. Well it is 5:30 and they just called us to tell us they are running 3 hrs behind so my wife asked what would they like us to do at this point the office manager said you will not be seen because we close at 8pm and then hung up on my wife. After 1+ hours of waiting standing up, all the six (6) chairs were always taken. Instead of this location spending money on buying K-Cups and ****** machines, they should invest on getting more chairs for the patients that have no choice but to wait hours standing up.WellNow Urgent Care

I went to the ************, ** location in July for a ovarian cyst. I was given a pregnancy test that I did not want because the medical staff did not believe me, to then deny service and send me to the *** The doctor told me in July they did not have the imaging technology to help me and referred to their clinic and I quote as a "bandaid clinic". Two weeks ago I finally received a bill for the July visit for $450, ($50 for the test I did not want and $400 for an "outpatient visit" where I received no help). I called the billing **** and requested to debate the charges considering I received no medical care. I was told that I would hear back within a week and have heard nothing since. I went again yesterday because I had symptoms of a ear infection and every primary care facility within a 50 mile radiua has a 2 month minimum waiting list so I was limited to urgent care or the *** Reception staff were extremely rude and refused to assist myself and other patients now that check-in kiosks are available. The receptionist also loudly announced that I had an overdue bill and if I didn't pay half of the bill ($225) at the time of service I was not going to be seen. I left extremely discouraged. Thankfully, another urgent care was able to treat me and discovered that my eardrum was bulging-- something that could have been discovered at Wellnow had their office shown any compassion towards their patients. The lack of communication, organization on the part of Wellnow's billing department, and the lack of compassion created a situation that should have been avoided.WellNow Urgent Care
