Went to WellNow in ****** ** and they gave me a bunch of c*** about my insurance and told me they don't except it !! That I had to pay $165 to be seen or I was refused service ...so I came to a different WellNow in Clay ** and low and behold they excepted my insurance. So just bc your lazy and don't wanna do your job I have to drive 30 something miles to a different location??!! It's all a money game and this company/business needs to get there s*** together and find qualified people that actually want to do there job!!!

I was just at well now urgent care in ****** ** Yesterday to bring my sick one and a half year old. Got there 4:30 registered online, did everything I was supposed to and was told 7:30 is estimated time I would be seen. Waited for 3 HOURS WITH A SICK BABY WHO HAD A FEVER AND COUGH. WHEN I WAS LAST PERSON IN THE WAITING ROOM THEY TELL ME THERE WAS AN ISSUE WITH MY INSURANCE. WHY WOULD YOU NOT TELL ME THIS HOURS AGOOOO!! Very unprofessional and seemed like they did not care. Absolutely ridiculous. They didn't even bother to see my baby or offer me any other optionsWellNow Urgent Care

I called a year ago in regards to my visit on 4/23/22. After reviewing my billing summary I realized they ran a test that was unnecessary due to my medical history. The representative that I spoke to said she would have the charge removed from my statement. I paid the rest of my bill and didn't think any more about it. Saturday 12/2/2023 I received another statement with immediate action on the top. I called today and spoke with ********* at Wellnow. She stated that my account in the amount of $10.76 had now been sent to collections. I explained that the test that was run was never discussed with me and would not be pertinent due to my medical history. She told me that the medical provider can run whatever test he wants and that was the consent that was signed for treatment. I'm pretty sure treatment and testing needs to be discussed and they cannot just run whatever they want. I asked to speak to a supervisor and ********* refused to transfer me. She stated they could no longer help me since the account had been transferred to collections and she proceeded to give me the phone number for collections. I reached out to the number provided and they were not able to pull up any information on me. Basically she lied, I went in and paid the $10.76 they wanted on WELLNOW's website which was obviously working just fine. She just didn't care enough to take any time out of her day to help me get to the bottom of this. **************** and I hope this doesn't happen to someone else who is really struggling to make ends meet. Own up to your mistake and stop inflating medical bills! Isn't it already expensive enough?WellNow Urgent Care

So I went in yesterday and they didnt have time to see me so I scheduled an appointment for today at 11:25. I get there and you guys are closed even though youre supposed to be open until 7 PM tonight seven days a week why did you have me waste a 40 mile drive to see you when no one is here I will never come back again and I will let everyone know that you guys are a jokeWellNow Urgent Care

RE: ******, ** location I was very sick, and visited the Well Now yesterday. I checked in on the computer and then I got a text message to go to the front desk. The receptionist stated that I had a balance of $350 from: 11/30/2022.I advised her that this was 1 year ago. I never received a bill or a phone call about it. I also advised her that me and my kids come to Well Now all the time for COVID, ear infections, strep etc and no one mentioned this bill until 11/26/2023. I also advised the lady that I have had ** ******** since April 2021 and if I really had a balance then it would be a system/billing error because I have insurance.She proceeded to say that I cant be seen unless I pay up. I told her what she is doing is illegal. The whole time she is talking to me and typing to someone on the computer. She said that the person on the computer is telling her to charge me. After arguing with her for a while and telling her this is a scam, she lowered the price to $50. I paid with my debit card because I am very sick and need to see a doctor.I tried calling billing but they close on Sunday. Anyways, I was seen yesterday and got diagnosed with Step. The doctor was nice. However my issue is the front desk.I called today the billing line and spoke with the escalation department. She advised that no one in my family was seen on 11/30/2022 and I DONT owe any money. In fact she said I have a credit of $165 because in September my son was seen there and they also scammed me because they bill the insurance and took money from me at the same time. I had this credit in the system since September. I thought they will refund it to the card, but they didnt. The escalation department said she is mailing me a check for the $165 on Monday.So now, I need to know what type of scam are these people running? What is going on? I need my $50 back asap!!!I called the Cicero location and left a message for their manager and emailed them.Very disappointed by this!WellNow Urgent Care

I had sought medical attention at your facility,******, **, for an ear infection, rendering me temporarily unable to work. Subsequently, I needed a medical certificate for my workplace. On November 14, around 2:21 pm I called and I was advised to visit in person for on-site completion.Following this guidance, I visited on November 17, 2023, arriving just before 4:00 pm. At the front desk, I explained my need for paperwork regarding my previous medical encounter. Regrettably, both staff members on duty responded with displeasure, stating such services were not provided. To resolve the situation, I requested to speak with a manager, but was told the manager was unavailable. Seeking a healthcare professional, a person who identified as a nurse emerged. She dismissed my request, claiming no one instructed me to be presenta statement contradicted by my call log. I highlighted the inconvenience of traveling from Corning and sought confirmation beforehand. Despite presenting evidence of contrary information from my initial call, additional staff members, including another woman, denied such guidance. It was communicated that, as a private, for-profit urgent care facility, your establishment does not engage in completing medical paperwork. Staff explicitly asserted, "they are NOT *******," emphasizing their for-profit status. After an extensive exchange, I requested my medical records and, deeming it prudent, left with my spouse. During departure, staff declared any future return visit would be futile, with one woman suggesting we would be promptly turned away. This contradicted my initial pursuit of a medical certificate at your staff's urging. This experience has left me disheartened, expecting professionalism and compassion from a healthcare facility. Discovering your for-profit status has prompted me to reassess my expectations for such entities, saddened by the apparent lack of consideration for patients' well-being. I walked into this clinic today at 8:55am and no there was no receptionist or anyone to talk to, so I waited for over 10 minutes when someone finally come out. When she did she was rude and didnt seem to care that I had been waiting for her. She didnt even apologize. Thankfully I live in a huge city and have choices, so I left and was able to get professional assistance just a few miles away with happy friendly staff. Go somewhere where they appreciate your business.WellNow Urgent Care

if anyone is wondering why this location has a ****/ 5 for rating please look at the reviews and let me add a another negative. Iits 720 pm on Wed 11/15 and my wife went to *********** location. The doors were locked and my wife went to this location cause she had a cough and wheezing and coughing attacks. A latino line in nationality walked to the door and said "what do you want?" My wife explained and was told well we cant help you, we are full and only 1 doctor. keep in mind only 2 cars in the lot but they are supposedly full..This was a lie cause all the did was clean the front desk and refused to ****** walkins.Trash! *********************** if you are the business manager please look into this . At 10 :00 i will be putting this review on social media to the *********** Community. I am sure that the staff is not really bad but I think we can agree this one latina that works the front desk makes your whole practice or Office look dumb and refusing medicall attention is a common practice cause they wanna go home. Once again not busy just wnted to clean up to get out.WellNow Urgent Care

I have been sick and went to wellnow, the dr. asked if I was allergic to any medication I said yes Im allergic to penicillin. She then proceeded to tell me well Im gonna give you this medication but it has penicillin in it knowing 100% that I am allergic to it. Decide if I started to have a rash or going to anaphylactic to stop the medication.WellNow Urgent Care
