The virtual care visit tried to charge me $120 when my visit copay is $0 and has been $0 since I started using the service. There is no number to call for help so I went a different route. Friends and family have been desperate for a medical visit and paid $120. They are stealing $ from customers covered by insurance!WellNow Urgent Care

We have privately funded Local 669 ************ that is based through **********/Blue Shield PPO, ********. Because it is privately funded from the union, we have more options offered to us than traditional Blue Cross/Blue Shield customers. To that end, while we do have a deductible plan, when it comes to Urgent Care, we are covered at 90% with NO DEDUCTIBLE. We have told Wellnow Urgent Care this many times yet every time someone from our family tries to go there, they want to charge us up front $40.00 or more. This is not acceptable, my poor sick husband had to leave and go somewhere else to be treated even after explaining our coverage and suggesting they can call the number on the card to verify our coverage. The receptionist wanted no part of it and was very unprofessional and would not even look into it, just repeatedly told him he had to pay. Our visits usually end up costing around $10.00 after going through claims, so then we would have to wait for Wellnow to get our $30.00 back to us when they felt like it, no, sorry, we don't have money like that lying around during these challenging times.WellNow Urgent Care

This is like many of the complaints already submitted. I was seen in September and charged a copay of $40. I got a bill last week 12/12 for $160 additionally owed. While I was expecting to see a bill, this was not itemized and had no other information. I received a text that I activated autopay, which I did not. Then I was billed today 12/23 for the $160. I did not authorize this at all. This cannot possibly be legal and they have no proof that I enrolled in autopay. This is a predatory act. Im fortunate that this does not cripple me financially but others may not be so lucky. Shame on this business preying on the sick and injured!WellNow Urgent Care

My college student has double insurance coverage and wellnow sent his outstanding bill to a collections company. They never submitted the claim to his secondary insurance even though we followed up with them when we received the bill in 2023. They needed to resubmit the claim. We have been dealing with this for 2 months and the collections agency does not have any record of his account. I have asked to speak to a wellnow billing supervisor and was told by the representative that they do not have a supervisor and was completely dismissed. I asked how claims are submitted to collections and perhaps there was a clerical error. I was told no error occurred. WellNow billing is a joke when it comes to problems. They are not helpful and not willing to investigate the issues.WellNow Urgent Care

I have had a really bad experience with the billing department. They say I owe a copay of $40.00 through a bill or text but when I call them they say it will be resubmitted and not to worry. Then I will get another bill or text and so on. My insurance is good, I have had no other problems or issues with any of my doctors, hospitals, etc. as far as billing goes. During one of my calls to this billing department the man I spoke with said that this was billed incorrectly. Today when I asked to speak to a supervisor he told me that it was already taken care of. This has been going on now for 7 months and are threatening to send me to collections for their mistake no less!!!!I have now called my secondary insurance and they are sending me forms to fill out for bill. I will Never Ever visit this facility again!!WellNow Urgent Care

Was seen in the beginning of October and was wrongfully charged a co-pay, had to jump through hoops just to be told I had to contact billing, and then billing had to reach out to their refund department. Ive callled about 6 times since then trying to get my refund and just keep being told its processing and theyre waiting for the refund department to do their job. Over 2 months later I still havent received anything and no one can allow me to speak to a supervisor. ******** customer experience. I just want my refund.WellNow Urgent Care
