I have nothing good to say about my experiences with WellNow at any facility. They value greed, not the patient.The woman at the front desk of the ************ facility is unyielding in her unhelpful answers to questions like "Why is the wrong insurance company appearing after you scan my card? Can we fix this?" Her dismissive "you'll have to call billing" answer to everything was infuriating. Even more infuriating was her one different response that I must pay an outrageous amount (almost $400) just to be seen, because *surprise* insurance didn't cover my last visit when the WRONG INSURANCE COMPANY was billed.Shocker, the wrong insurance company didn't pay, so I had to cover the huge amount, with the assurance I'd get reimbursed when the claim finally went through. Is anyone surprised that WellNow will not reimburse me?Trying to get anything sorted out through this company is a joke. I did talk to billing, first to get my correct insurance info nailed down and claims reprocessed, and then again multiple times to find out where my reimbursement is. This has been since August 2024.I'm told IT IS WELLNOW'S POLICY NOT TO REIMBURSE AFTER INSURANCE PAYS THEM. Apparently "it's a convenience for you to use this as a credit on your next visit". What? You must make a formal phone request for reimbursement, then sometime (when? not yet) they will contact you to tell you if they will approve your reimbursement and arrange transmittal of YOUR money.This is so disrespectful to the patient. I have reviewed elsewhere and a bot tells me to contact wecare at ************************. I have, multiple times: no *********** has now been one month since I first formally requested my reimbursement. I'm not allowed to see my files or itemized bill/reimbursements, no one in customer care will confirm anything except that a request has been made, and no one has responded to any emails. I did receive an email and text today reminding me to update my payment method with them. So very wrong.WellNow Urgent Care

I visited the WellNow Urgent *********** in ************, ** early June 2024 as I became ill with Covid while I was on vacation. They took my insurance information but I was charged $145 at the time of my visit. I received a bill for an additional $170 in early September. My insurance covers this type of service 100%. The first time I called the billing inquiries number I was told they did not have my insurance information. I gave it to them a second time. The second time I called, the operator responded with "I bet you are calling about a refund". I indicated that I was and she said it was pending and needed to be moved into a different column for processing. Since early September, I have placed eight phone calls to WellNow regarding this refund and have received nothing. Several times I have been told it was marked to be expedited. I have asked for a call back from a supervisor and have received nothing. I asked to speak with the refund department and was told they were not accepting any calls. Yesterday I was told that it is ready to be processed in the form of a check but they could not provide a time frame when I could expect to receive it. I have NEVER seen this level of poor customer service. I am prepared to take whatever legal action is necessary to receive my $145 refund. I would not recommend this company to anyone no matter how ill you are. Ironically, the care i received was fine but the payment/billing/refund experience has been beyond horrible.WellNow Urgent Care

My daughter visited a WellNow clinic in *********, ********. She presented her insurance card and was told they didn't know how to bill her insurance. She paid a portion of the bill following the visit and received a bill for the remainder which she also paid. Silmultaneously, they did bill our insurance who also paid them. We have been trying for months to get her refund issued, I am routinely told that the issue has been escalated and someone will get back with me. I was told that I could not talk directly to the refund department or a supervisor. The visit was in May, we paid the full balance in August and our insurance paid it in September. We are now in November with no sign of a refund. I plan to call them everyday until the refund is issued. It is unethical to accept 2 payments for the same service and not issue a refund.WellNow Urgent Care

I visited **************, ** on Sept 17 2024. I paid my $75.00 copay when I was at the ********** location on Sept 17, *****. Since then, I have received a bill saying I owe $75.00 still. I called WellNow on Oct 04, 2024 and spoke to a man who told me to email with proof of payment and the account information which I did that same day. I never received any response or acknowledgement to that email and was surprised when I received another bill in the mail with a statement date of Oct 31, 2024. I called the number on the statement on Nov 04, 2024 and spoke with a woman who told me that she escalated the issue and that I'd receive a call back in ***** hours along with an email confirmation. I called today on Nov 15, ******************************************************* with a supervisor and after 3 hours and 22 minutes on hold they hung up on me. I called back and was also hung up on when I asked to speak to a supervisor. I am currently calling right now and speaking to a third ****** today and am currently on hold. I don't understand how this is still not cleared up almost two months later. This is a horrible business practice as I keep getting texts and emails about the outstanding bill which I shouldn't have received in the first place.WellNow Urgent Care

They kept sending the insurance information to the wrong address. Finally corrected but never updated the payment from insurance or myself. Called with my insurance company and was told it was corrected and there was a zero balance. 1 year later get a notice that they sent to a collection agency still showing that money was owed. Took another month for the collection agency to update the file showing no payment was needed and the balance was zero. Their billing department needs training. Would not recommend going to them.WellNow Urgent Care

Computer system was down for my visit, so they billed me. I received the bill, paid it and then was charged again after an autopay had been set up on my account. I have sent 4 emails with no response and made 3 phone calls, each time being told it would be taken care of and nothing has happened. There are no real contact numbers or emails to be found, only for the call center that is their customer service. Medical staff is always great.WellNow Urgent Care

My daughter presented her insurance card at the WellNow in ****** (closest to the **************************) and was told by the woman who checked her in that her insurance WAS ************* forward to 3 weeks ago and I'm looking at a bill for $240, because her insurance was not accepted by WellNow. My daughter was instructed by me to go to another facility if her insurance was not accepted. WellNow employee gave my daughter incorrect (false) information which I'm now being billed for. I have now made 4 calls regarding my daughter's account for the charged billed for on 8/29/24 for my daughter in the amount of $240.00. A case was opened & was promised a return call over 2 weeks ago from a supervisor and have not heard back from anyone at WellNow. The employee's error is costing me $240 (+$40 copay). WellNow is asking me to be responsible for WELLNOW'S ERROR. At best this is incompetence and at worse it's fraud.WellNow Urgent Care

Unprofessional, dismissive treatment during allergic reaction at urgent care. I couldv're died. T, and L should not be in health care.I visited for the first time after experiencing an allergic reaction while in class. I promptly scheduled an appointment for 7:50 p.m. and called 15 minutes prior to notify the clinic that I would arrive by 7:52 p.m. However, my call was unanswered.Upon arrival, I found the clinic doors locked. I knocked for approximately four minutes, during which two front desk staff members observed me through the door, laugh instead of offering assistance. At 7:56 p.m., they finally opened the door and informed me I was late and could not be seen. This was stated without consulting the doctor. When I inquired about a possible 15-minute grace ******* one staff member, identified as T, told me they would not accommodate me.Despite explaining that I was experiencing an allergic reactionI was in distressthey initially declined to see me. After pressing them to ask the physician, the doctor agreed to see me. However, another staff member, L, insisted that I complete the online check-in process, including uploading my insurance card, which I had not yet done due to the urgency of my condition. When I explained I was actively experiencing symptoms, her response was dismissive, which felt inappropriate for a healthcare setting.When I reached the co-pay section,If you dont pay, you wont be seen, requiring me to call my father while in distress to complete the payment process. This situation was especially challenging, given that I was experiencing symptoms such as burning sensations on my face, difficulty breathing, numbness, and tingling in my lips.Having worked in healthcare for seven years, I found the lack of empathy and professionalism exhibited by these front desk staff members deeply concerning. I worry about the impact such treatment could have on vulnerable patients, particularly the elderly, and am saddened by this experience.WellNow Urgent Care

They are thieves, they pulled money out of my account after I paid in full for my visit and even asked them if I will be paying for anything else. I call them and nothing , they give me an email address to make a complaint to and nothing. I will be suing.WellNow Urgent Care
