      Physicians ************** (WellNow) follows billing practices that are unscrupulous, deceptive and maybe even illegal. The are a ripoff! I went there for a sore throat, cough and sinuses. They collected $35 during my visit. I wasn't informed of any other charges, but later I got a statement stating that I owed another $297 with absolutely no details or explanation other than to show the "original charge" was $451 with an "insurance adjustment" of $118. On their website, they say that the self-pay pricing is $165 (and even list all of my symptoms). I've previously been to one of their facilities when I had no insurance, and that's what I paid. But because I had "insurance" (really not insurance, but MediShare), they more than doubled the "original" cost and are billing more out of pocket than the self-pay option. I tried calling the number they gave and the number didn't work! I've sent 4 letters, to the billing address and to the actual location disputing the amount and asking for details and have received no response. About once a month I get a call and/or text message saying that I owe the money. I see that this must be their standard practice, given the other "reviews" listed here. I guess they count on people not checking the BBB. I left a negative ****** Review and others should also. This is a scammy practice.

      Paid the $35 copay. Wellnow trying to charge $35. Went to the clinic they sent the receipt in to show it was paid? Now they are trying to charge $70. The clinic service was great. The billing department $;( ??. And to top it off. They dont answer the phones? Been on hold twice and waiting over a 1/2 hour and no response?

      Wellnow automatically debited from my bank account a month after I visited for a second copayment. I made the required copay when I was there, that is how wellnow had my debit card information. I never authorized a second copayment and a second copayment was not due by me. My insurance payed all of the bill except my single copayment. Im furious that they took my money without me authorization the withdrawal. I have a receipt, and its on my bank statement, but they said they show no payments when I was there.

      They violated HIPPA for myself and others in the waiting area. Discussing aloud reasons for visits and patient information across the room for all to hear. Staff at the desk were very unprofessional. I would not include the provider in this complaint as they were attentive and professional.

      If I could give less than 1 star I would. Their receptionist messed up my insurance and never billed it and instead charged my card without authorization for the full amount. Came in for a broken food got half way through the appointment for them to tell me the xray machine was down. Never again!

      I went to WellNow urgent care on 9-16-24. I am a senior citizen and I am on ********* I also have a supplement plan. The plans I have I dont pay anything out of pocket. No co-pay no deductible no out of pocket. The receptionist said I had to pay $40 for the visit. I was arguing with her that I dont have to pay anything. She said I would get a refund after insurance was billed. Just received an explanation of benefits from my secondary insurance which they billed. Gladly they wouldnt process it. ******** needs to be billed first which they werent. Tried all day calling the billing department. On hold for 60 minutes at a time from 9am until 5pm. No one ever answered the phone. Kept saying that it was very busy with phone calls and I should stay on line to keep my place. Never an answer. I knew when she asked for $40 I should have left. Will never go there again. I want my $40 back.

      Pretty sure I have pneumonia so after 2 weeks of waiting it out to see if it would go away on its own my chest is starting to hurt so I made an appointment for WellNow. My appointment was for 3:30. I arrived at 3 and there was a very nice gentleman working behind the counter. I pre registered and I was able to have a seat. After an hour and seeing 2 people who just came in go back to be seen I went to the counter to ask how much longer and the girl who was now behind the counter was super rude to me. I asked her why she was being so rude because I didnt approach her like that and another woman stepped in and started talking to me. So apparently it doesnt matter if you have an appointment. I was told they dont have appointments and they take you depending on the severity of your illness. But who decides whos sicker than who?! They werent able to tell me how many more hours I was going to be sitting there with a bunch of sick people so I left. Unseen with my pneumonia.Not Happy and will Never Ever go back to WellNow!!

      Wellnow very rude. Billed me by threatening me ( my first billing), if I don't pay will go to collections. When I called representative stated that's a general generated statement and nothing she can do about it. Threatening on the first billing is horrible and demeaning. I also overpaid my bill never got the over payment back so they are thieves too.

      It seems I am not the only one who feel this company has predatory billing practices based on the other comments. My son, went to the urgent care and gave his debt card. We received a paper bill to our home which said due on receipt of the bill. We checked with our son and he said his debt card was not charged so we sent in the payment through the mail. Two days latter they charged his debt card. We called customer service and waited for 45 min. My son needed to be on the call for HIPA policies. He has high functioning Autism so I wanted to help him. We finally talked to a representative and explained the situation. She asked to put us on hold and promptly disconnected the call. Second phone call, 30 min wait, the representative saw the two payments and said a refund check would be issued in 10 days. Nothing. Third call, 45 min, the representative saw the issue and asked to put us on hold. I insisted she take my number first and call back if we got disconnected. We were put on hold and got disconnected. To their credit, we did get a call back. We were told it would be 30 to 40 days. We are on day 60 and still no refund. I'm thinking this company just makes things so frustrating you just give up.

      I required stitches June 3rd paid the copay. I returned to have them removed on the 10th and was told to come back th 14th, the stitches needed more time. Now after multilple invoices and phone calls the invoices continue. **** W
