Wednesday May 17th I called and was quoted $545 without the catalytic converter was okay with that so schedule a pickup for Thursday May 18, 2023 on that day driver came and said cats are missing so was going to adjust the price I explained the price was for without the cats he denied that being true so since I needed the money for an time sensitive emergency I accepted the new quote for $325 which is complete out right wrong since they had to reprint the check I had to go pick it up at LKQ Yard in *************** ******* before it was final the driver physically took the title went over it and said he was making sure it was good just something they check obviously when buying a vehicle he then told me it was ok and good to go he told me to give the lady at LKQ the title in exchange for my check and he towed my vehicle upon picking up my check I was told the title was a closed title and wouldn't pay me they told me that if I wanted the vehicle back I would have to pay them a tow fee to drop back off or have another tow truck pick it up. This is complete unprofessional unfair and unfortunate for me. It was not my fault that any of this occurred I should have been paid the quoted amount from the start or told they couldn't buy it. As of today Friday May 19th I have yet received a call back from the LKQ CORP office in ******* that I called and was told I would be contacted back regarding this and I have not received any money and my vehicle still is in their possession this is wrong I'm so many levels I just want my quoted amount since I have to deal with this much unnecessary problems I have been yelled at by the office lady and rudely treated.Business Response

I am rejecting this response because: I'm not satisfied knowing I was not in the wrong in way and for me to sale my vehicle May 18 2023 because I had an unexpected emergency only for LKQ to pick up my vehicle then denied to pay me or return my vehicle for a huge mistake on their behalf. And after going in to the business the same day of my vehicle getting picked up I was approached rudely and was highly mistreated as a customer and was told to leave. I have just received my vehicle back June 6th, after having to wait without payment it's out right wrong, I feel this is very unprofessional and very much unhealthy business and I hope nobody else has to experience this such situation I faced. I feel LKQ should be liable and take blame that this was a very wrong thing to do and understand this has negatively impacted me as I was already facing a financial emergency which was the reason I chose to have the vehicle picked up in the first place. Its something I can't seem to process on why would such a great company do something like this to me and fail to realize what this kind of service causes. I hope someone understands me and steps up to make sure this doesn't go unoticed because it can prevent a lot of negative thing. Wake up we are suppose to help one another and smile and bring happiness to everyone we come in contact with we should love one another and live with peace, money and materialistic things can be replaced but us people cannot and our hearts we should cherish remember that. I purchased an 18" wheel for my ***** car on April 14th 2023. The total purchase price, including $22 for 3 day shipping, was $333.84. I did not receive my wheel until April 24th. LKQ sent me a 16" by mistake. I confirmed on a phone call with *********************** that she was showing in the system that I ordered an 18" and LKQ had sent the wrong size. I was sent a "request for return/replacement" link to fill out and send the picture of the wrong part. This was a 5 day process. Finally on Friday April 28th, ****** confirmed that she was in contact with the warehouse that was sending out the correct replacement wheel. My husband spoke with her and was told we would be receiving a *** label to return the wrong wheel. She told my husband to send that rim back when we received the new rim. She told ** we would receive a tracking number when the replacement was sent, but I never did. I called May 8th to find out where the replacement rim was and spoke with ******. He stated that the replacement had not been sent because they were waiting for me to send the wrong wheel back. I reminded him that we were told to send the wrong rim back when the new one was received. My husband took the old rim to *** drop off that day (the 8th) after talking with ******, and LKQ received it on the 9th. I received a phone call from ****** stating that they were shipping out the replacement and it was set to arrive on the 11th, he told me to look for a tracking number to come to my email. Today is the 15th and I have not received the rim nor any tracking information. Today makes 22 business days since my original order. This mistake was made by LKQ and it has been a huge hassle. I have emailed *********************** asking for tracking information a total of 7 times since our phone conversation on April 28th and she has not responded. I've also emailed ***** Prenitss with no response.I have asked for my situation to be forwarded to a manager, several times, and have not gotten a response.Business Response

I traveled 1+ hours to buy a fender from a car I saw in LKQs web page that matched with mine in brand, model and color. I drove back home, reading the receipt I found that I got a charge for a 90 day warranty???? The charge was without my consent. Im pretty sure they been charging warranties without asking. If I was asked like Im sure is dictated by law, I will decline in the act. Ive been told my engine was in the process of going through inspection and they would reimburse me for the mechanic fees, Ive been waiting for several months now, I reached out to **************** Sunday evening he responded to me with the attached statement- saying that the repair shop refused engine pick up. I contacted the shop via phone and he stated no one had shown up to get the engine no one had called until late last night may 8th 2023. Ive had issues from the beginning to even get the engine replaced from **************** and thats when *************************** called and emailed me saying he would make contact with the shop and get this new engine sent out I shouldnt be waiting so long. I have the No fault gold which covers, engine replacement, Repair shops, car rental, and tow. I broke down on Christmas Even 2022 with my kids and husband going home from being away traveling for work for 7 months, I paid out of pocket to get from *********** to ******* and had to ****** a trailer to go back to *********** two days after Christmas, I have paid hotel fees, my kids did not have a Christmas, it was miserable for all of **. We had no sleep and took turns driving home and then back to get our truck. Im not even asking for reimbursement for that Im asking for the $1990.00 from the shop repairs. The rental fee was over $1500.00 because they took so long to get my engine. I ended up paying around 2300$ for the rental alone. *** tried to get them the pick up the engine and give me the mechanic fees back. I have copies of receipts, I have the waranty papers and several more emails from these people. And when I reach out to them I get an email asking how I got their email instead of a resolution. ****** wouldnt respond to myself or the mechanic shop for weeks so I called LKQ to find out why it was taking so long, then ***** issued a new engine. This process has put my family in the hole and I just want my money from repair facility and the rental reimbursement.Business Response

I purchased a used propeller shaft from Ebay.com on April 26, 2023 in the amount of $343.74 USD; item number is ************. The seller is LKQ Corporation. The used propeller shaft that I purchased was supposed to be from a 2009 Lexus RX350 AWD according to the **** listing details. Instead, what was shipped was a used propeller shaft from a **** ****** Highlander. The wrong part came from a vehicle that is 7 years older than what was purchased. Not only is it from an older ******, but when it was shipped, it was shipped in plastic packaging with no supports in the middle. With an item that is approximately 7 feet long it was insufficient packaging to any standard. The universal joints are worn, and the rubber boot in the middle of the driveshaft is torn; possibly from insufficient packaging protection. The item is not only from an older vehicle, but it is damaged in multiple spots. This is a transaction that is both careless and negligent. I have documentation from LKQ Corporation that proves the vehicle that it came from was the wrong vehicle (SKU tag from LKQ Corporation) and not the vehicle it was supposed to come from; visual proof of the damage; and the original **** listing that supports the above claim. I have attempted to resolve with the seller, however, the sender does not respond to emails.Business Response

On 3/31/22 I ordered an engine with a warranty for a total of $1230.50. The engine was delivered a couple of weeks later to my mechanic. Once the engine was in, after about a month I was having trouble with it and took it back to the mechanic. He said the engine he just put in was bad so he contacted LKQ. They took several months replacing the engine, claiming the paperwork got misplaced. In October of 2022 they finally sent a replacement engine to my mechanic and he put it in. A few months later the second engine cut off while I was driving on the highway and I had to get it towed back to the mechanic. He said the second engine was now bad and I would need a new engine. But at this point the original warranty had run out and they said there was no warranty offered on the second bad engine. So after 1 year and two engines and $4000 later (for engine and labor), I do not have a working car.Business Response

I am rejecting this response because: When the first engine went bad , LKQ was contacted to replace the engine. They claimed they lost the paperwork, waited several months before replacing the engine, then gave me a bad engine at the end of my warranty when there was nothing I could do about it. The car was for my son and it was still at the mechanic shop when he went off to college. He didnt get the chance to drive the car before he left and since we were given 2 bad engines from your company, he has no car to drive at school. We paid for a working engine and never received one. This is bad business.

I am rejecting this response because: you are basically telling me you know you sell bad products. For $1500, not a small amount of money, nothing I received worked. Just because you gave me a second engine , everything was bad, therefore I never received what I paid for. I paid $1500 for an engine with a warranty, so my expectation was to receive an engine that should last at least one year or it would be replaced. But to replace a bad engine with another bad engine is very bad business. Both engines didnt last 1 year together! I am only asking for a working product which is what I paid for and expected to receive.

My ex husband and I have been searching for a door for a 2014 ***** Equinox (color black). after an accident in Dec. I have been to all the junk yards, parts places locally and found several doors either red, white, blue or silver. no black doors. We settled on a black door from LKQ it had to be shipped from *****. We spent $200 extra of the going rate of all of the other doors. just so it would be black. We worked with a guy named (*****) after spending the money. The door did not show up at the given time(*****) saiid it would. He assured me it would be there the end of day. It did not come. I then called him the next morning and he did not know where it was. and then said it would be delivered the next day. I just said take it to a lkq location I would pick it up. I have call for 4 days *****and all other LKQ locations in Phoenix area. no one is answering, eternal hold and then hangs up. I called another LKQ site back east , they transferred me and the transfer hung up. *******has not responded after leaving 5 messages to please call me back on HIS personal line for 6 days. I finally got his email address from invoice and emailed him today. asked him to respond asap.... nothing I take a chance to see if the door is at he lkq location he said it would be sent, )apparently they don't answer phone calls either!) I go there and the door is SILVER! after he sent a picture and text to me and a phone conversation assuring us that the door is BLACK .I have them and will use them as evidence. I am not able to reach anyone or have them pick up a phone. The lkq location that I picked the door up from said" uh... we never guarantee the color of the door." WHAT?? It appears as if LKQ and or ***** likes to promise things to make a sale and not have any integrity of what they are selling. or follow up. I picked up the door, because there is no one to answer a phone. This order was 3 days late on arrival, wrong color and no one responding for for over a week now.Business Response

I bought a rebuilt engine part number DCEX when I received the engine I started installing the oil pan when I noticed one of the bolts wouldn't get tight when I starting inspecting the engine I noticed a crack on the back side of the engine that lines up with the oil pan bolt so I called to file a warranty (wc141302) I was told that they had one in stock at the ****** warehouse and I would received it by that following Monday that following Monday I called to get a eta and the supervisor I spoke with started agurin with me saying how no one told me I had a warranty replacement inroute to me and that it'll be several weeks then two days later I received a engine with part number dcx4 so I called back to inform them that they sent the wrong replacement engine and the guy I spoke with started agurin with me again saying how lkq didn't send me dcx4 engine even tho I was looking at a engine with part number dcx4 address to me then after that I was told that the correct would be in within a week after that week was up I was told 2 to 3 weeks then after 2 weeks was up I was told 2 weeks but all of this started by the supervisor refusing to listen to me and agurin with not only me but with the managers at ********** what kind of customer ********************** is thatBusiness Response

I am rejecting this response because: They have been telling me and ********** store that the motor has been build and being prep to ship for the pass 3 weeks now but when I talk to there shipping department they tell me that the motor has not been built yet! Then when they transfer me back to the warranty department the warranty department supervisor tells me that it's been built and that I should receive it in 3 days even the ********** store assistant manager heard them say that so I'll wait 3 days call the shipping department back they tell me the same thing as before that it hasn't been built yet so I get transferred again to the warranty supervisor and he tells me 3 more days and that has been going on for a little over 3 weeks ago and I still have no motor and according to which department I talk to one will say it's not built yet while the other says it's on its way even the ********** store will verify that because they have even been on the phone with LKQ and LKQ gives the ********** store manager the run around to
