      I ordered a part 3/10/2023 at the LKQ location in *********** I was kept telling told my part was on its way and it would be here on 3/16/2023 and it never arrived I ended up going in person figuring out what was going on they kept telling me its on the way to only find out it was never shipped out we are now on 3/20/2023 and I still yet have to received my part with no update or anything Im the one constantly having to call to figure out whats going on this is very unprofessional

      I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.
      yes the process was very frustrating me because they were not giving me the real truth of my part then when I received it almost 2 weeks later it was damaged but I didnt wanna have to wait even longer for a different part so my mechanic had to try to fix it himself because lkq they kept telling me one day and comes in 2 weeks later from that day I was given

      I paid Automotix/LKQ $1,549.28 on Feb 27, 2023. The ***** is LN2OHVMWB and the Invoice# is *********. This was for a used engine for my 2015 Honda CR-V EX-L, Vin 5th digit 'M'. I was assured by a salesperson over the phone that it had been tested and ran fine. It came with a 12k mi/12mo warranty, so I was not worried about the engine not working. When it arrived roughly a week later, the shop that I had install it found that it had a broken timing cover which meant they couldn't mount it in my vehicle. They would need to remove the timing cover from my old engine and put it on the new one. This required very careful, detailed work with sealant, and they informed me that this would be an extra $1300 or so on top of the original $1800 to perform the engine swap. After negotiating somewhat, the final price was to be $2850. After they put in the new engine, they found that 3 out of the 4 cylinders didn't have anywhere near the amount of pressure needed. The engine was a hunk of junk. I filed a warranty claim with automotix and the very next day they spoke with the techs at the shop and determined that they would need to send a replacement to fulfill the warranty. Only problem is, labor isn't free and I was sold a salvage engine, not an excellent condition engine. The warranty doesn't even come into play, they didn't ship me what I ordered. I have called and asked them to cover the labor charges but the rep said they will only cover labor in the event that they have sent 2 or 3+ dud engines. This is absolutely unacceptable, and the fact that they have a policy for what to do when they've sent a customer 3 completely broken ********************** should speak volumes. I am not made of money, in fact quite the opposite. I have been scammed by LKQ and I need them to recompense me for the labor required to install their faulty engine, and also the transportation costs I have had to incur while I wait for weeks on weeks for my car to be repaired only to find out I have been scammed.

      1) This response completely fails to address the fact that I was not sent what I was supposed to receive.

       2) This level of disregard for my issue (caused by LKQ) is absolutely unacceptable.

      2) It took them 9 days to come up with this?

      Any reasonable person can see that they are completely in the wrong for this behavior. They are trying to scam me.

      Purchased online a rear axle paid $1,786.10 it was shipped to the repair shop when the rear cover plate was removed it had bad spider gears along with cover plate cross threaded threads. I contacted seller 03/06 pictures were requested and sent 03/06 and in that email the cost to fix with new gears and installed was $850.00. follow up emails on 03/09 and on 03/10 then after 8 days I was offered only $300.00. In the mean time during this I sent emails stating the shop bay could not be tied up and when with the process of ordering the parts and having it installed. Now after the fact on 03/15 they say ship it back for a full refund when they knew that it was being fixed and installed. These people are disingenuous .!.!. I want the $850.00 refunded.

      I am rejecting this response because:  The How, Who, What, Where, Way's  did it take them over Five (5) days after being sent pictures of the defective parts sold as good working order and they were not.  They knew or should have known as the cover was removed before shipping. I acted in good faith and after no response and tie-up the garage bay for days without notice there was little option then to have it property repaired to a working rear AS ADVERTISED.

      Noteworthy these merchants have a very bad reputation for these kind of SHENANIGANS.!.

      On 3/7/23 I purchased a Radiator Core Support Upper Tie Bar. The price listed on their website is ***** with **** core fee. They charged me instead for a Header panel at $46.11 plus a $5 core fee. They overcharged me by $25.12. When I challenged the overcharge they brought a supervisor named **** to assist. He said charge him for a header panel. The exact part I bought is listed on several websites as a Radiator Support Upper Tie Bar.       I am rejecting this response because: the part I purchased is called a radiator support upper tie bar and is listed on your site specifically by that name. Your company picked a different name that doesn't match the part to charge a higher price. The part I purchased is listed in the Mopar catalogs as radiator support upper tie bar and I provided several links showing it. Your company lists a lower price online and charges a higher price at the window. Management agrees with the overcharging and encourages it.

      I purchased a 5.7l hemi engine a week prior and took it apart to see what was wrong with the engine and discovered a cracked cylinde wall while at the machine shop to get the block redeck for cylinder heads. Shop manager stated ***** is trash from cracked returned to warranty the engine out and was told no refunds on transaction even though warranty was purchased this is the third time I have bought a broken or faulty parts and was rejected refund. I have the engine still and brand new parts to rebuild but can't because the engine is trash.

I have view hundreds of reviews of lkq rejecting warranties and advertising online for warranties being optional and not required for purchased of parts but forced down throat of buyers. I am filing a lawsuit against the company for following. bad faith in rejection of warranty and false advertisement of pricing and warranty exchange.

      Team Toyato purchased an engine from LKQ and *********** told me to reach out to LKQ and they supposed to honor the Warranty but I am supposed to find a garage to replace it and No Garages want to do the job since *********** put it in first cant get a garage to approve the replacement engine in my car I have 2 years or ***************************************************************************************************************** I dont know what else to do and then I found out LKQ is going against privacy rights giving me information they shouldn't have cause I didn't purchase the engine *********** Bought it with a credit card this was sent to me so It sounds kinda sketchy to me how they do business there I am verydisappointed in there service so it feels like I have a warranty I can not use it's our only car me and my mom Have she has sugar diabetics and heart problems and cant walk great and I have health issues might be getting a pacemaker put in I need reliable transportation

      I  Didn't purchase the engine for my car the dealership I bought the car from made the purchase and I dont have an invoice number to give you because they never gave me one and when I reach out to Lkq they are telling me to take my car to another Garage since the dealership I bought the car refuses to work on it and I am finding out no other car garages will work on it since they didn't replace the engine in the first  I was by **** in the *********** **** Salvage yard I wasn't gonna get the invoice number and now I can't. Get anyone to honor the Warranty with Lkq  This is ridiculous all the foot work I have to do to try and resolve this issue on my own I feel abandoned  with the car dealership and Lkq

      Complaint: ******** I spoke with ***************************** and he told me I need to find a Garage to fix it and this response from Lkq was the party the purchased the part needs to file the claim so they are contradicting what each of them are telling me to do and I still have this car burning oil and I feel I am getting the run around about who needs to file a claim and I have reached out to Garages and no one si far is willing to work on the car so I feel the Warranty is not getting honored because of what they are telling me to do and the car dealership where I bought the car is Refusing to work on it So now we have a breach of the contract here with a possible lawsuit pending  I just want the car fixed and no one is willing to do the work on it so Lkq consumer relations is telling me since I did not pay for it the dealership did and team ****** is not honoring the Warranty  which they supposed too and ************************; says I can take it to any Garage to have it fixed which Lkq says it needs to go back to the party that purchased it from Lkq  and  I been calling Garages and no one is willing to do the work on the car Thank you

      Charged me more than double after quoting me a price. I made it very clear what part I needed and they agreed(general manager). Went to check out and it was more than double what they quoted land added warranty charges that I didn't know about or ask for.

I made it 100% clear what I needed because of this exact reason.  It was 20 online then quoted 30 in store. Then charged 80 at checkout. Even though I was told 30 multiple times. This is an issue on all of the reviews.

      LKQ sent me a defective engine I had my local dealership install it 3 months later the engine started smoking under LKQ standard 6month 6k mile warranty my engine is covered but LKQ refuses to cover the full amount I would like to settle this before I have to *************** for breach of warranty
