      I bought a remanufactured engine from LKQ and had it installed with a local shop Aamco Transmission back in November of last year. After install it has been found that I was sold a defective engine. There is a cylinder misfire on cylinder 5 at highway speed. My car has been in the shop for over 2 months with no resolution and I only got to drive it for a few days after the install of the defective engine before the check engine light came on, Aamco went through everything they installed to make sure they were not at fault before starting a claim with LKQ claim number is WC128425. I received one call from ****** *** the technician where he was rude and condescending saying it was unlikely to be the motor. After weeks of him requesting several tests from the shop I called and asked to speak with his manager and I was told that the manager was sent an email with my info and i would be contacted in a couple days that was on Dec 14th. I received no reply so I called again on Dec 19th and asked to speak with a manager again and I was transferred to a guy named ******'s voicemail where I left a brief description and my info and still no reply from LKQ. My husband talked to ****** on Jan 10th and was told that he was waiting on an email from the shop with photos and info on the last test. He later called the shop and admitted that he had all that info and just needed a email on the manual for the equipment used to do the test. I called againn Jan 11th and asked for the manager's email and my request was denied but they assured me again that they sent an email and I would be contacted still nothing to this day. They have asked the shop to preform the same leak down test 3 times now and after the 3rd time the shop has sent several emails to ****** with no response.

      I am rejecting this response because: the replacement part is only part of my concern and complaint. LKQ was super responsive at the beginning with the shop at least when they were checking things that would have been the shops responsibility but as soon as it turned into testing the engine which is LKQ's responsibility they became unresponsive. Also asking for the same test to be done 3 time is ridiculous and costly for both me the customer and the shop. Also my warranty is now 3 months in and it has been in the shop for the majority of that time.

      I ordered a ******** **** C300 transmission. I had it shipped to my mechanic. The mechanic stated that the transmission is programmed to another ******** **** and not reprogrammable. I let the company LKQ METRO AUTO PARTS (560). They stated that they would only refund the transmission after I ship it to them. The transmission is defective and cannot be installed on my ********. I already pd 260 to ship it to my mechanic and they refuse to send me s return shipping label So I am losing my 260 shipping plus tje 290 return shipping for an item that is programmed for another ******** ****. I want both shipping refunded. ******. plus my the purchase price of the transmission

       The Module on that transmission is a one time use,  vin burned item. The proper install of this transmission requires a new module be purchased. Refer to ALL DATA or ******** for more information. The offer to return the part is the most we are able to do.

      On the website that they sold this transmission it does state that the module is a one time use or that you have to buy a new module. When i called for the return they stated that they didn't know abot the module.

       The installation guidelines from the manufacturer and from ALLDATA state that the part must be changed at the time of install. These instructions would take precedence. I will not be able to assist further in this matter.

      This is the manufacturing company that the auto shop where my vehicle is uses. My vehicle has been in the shop since October 2022 due to engine failure. This company has sent 4 different BAD engines from October - January and my vehicle continues to sit in the shop waiting for a good engine. The first engine sent was covered by warranty and paid for. in October 2022. That engine failed and the replacements started from there after each failed engine during the testing process. The mechanic working on my vehicle explained that this company should be doing a compression test before sending the part to the shop. He stated that it is obvious they are not doing those tests because each engine failed compression testing on their end before placing in the vehicle. Cylinders were found to be dead and engine only holding about 70% compression. Not only is this wasting time and labor for the mechanic but also a financial hardship on myself waiting on my vehicle to be finished. For 3 months not having the vehicle while still paying monthly bill + insurance + cost of finding other sources to get to and from work. The employees from IKQ company do not respond to the auto shop's intent to contact for updates on the next steps or decisions in a timely manor. It takes days to hear back from them wasting more time and days with my car sitting. I tried contacting the business myself and was told by one rep that i am considered 3rd party and they cannot speak with me and then i called again and another rep told me that the auto shops account is frozen due to receiving a bad check from the shop for another vehicle and not my account. I went to the shop and seen for myself and was shown the tags on the engines that failed with the LKQ tag on them so they DID come from this company. The last bad engine received early January 2023, 2 weeks ago. The ********************** ******************************************* ************ 2015 Dodge Journey Failed engine since October 2022- current

      purchased new parts from LKQ/Keystone and there is no written policy on the receipt. I requested a refund and was willing to pay a restocking fee. They would not take the parts back and would not refund my money.

      I have been trying to contact the LKQ Pick Your Part - ********** ** and LKQ Corporate offices within their business hours and no one answers or not available to take any calls. I have left messages and no one answers. I have been trying to speak with someone at Yard #****. I need to have a check that was issued to my deceased husband to be reissued to his estate account.

      I purchased an engine from LKQ in October of 2022. I had it delivered to the auto mechanic who was installing it. When he opened the box (I assume it was boxed), he discovered that whomever had taken it out of the vehicle had cut the electrical harness instead of unplugging it and it couldnt be used. We filled out a report and I gave the LKQ costumer service rep my mechanics number so he could tell her about the situation. He was told that they had another engine that they would send. He told her to make sure that it came out of a running vehicle. He was assured that it was. The second engine was delivered and everything looked fine. He installed it and it turned out that it had low compression and wouldnt start. Obviously it didnt come out of a running vehicle. We made a second report and they said theyd send a third engine. At this point my mechanic already had 15 hours of labor into this project. I was seriously hoping that I wasnt going to have to pay for labor since they had sent two bad engines and now I was getting a third that *** or *** not work. I called LKQ and was transferred to four different people.One of them was I believe the sales manager. He told me that they wouldnt pay for the labor and that their policy was to keep sending engines until they sent one that worked. So, in theory, I would have to pay for labor on each engine until one finally worked. He then transferred me to the warranty manager who also said that they wouldnt pay for the labor. I can understand if the engine worked for even a month or two, but it never worked at all. He also said that 80-90% of the time the second part that they send works. Obviously not this time. I canceled the 3rd engine because if there wasnt anything visibly wrong with it and my mechanic installed it I would have to pay for another 15 or so hours of labor. The car isnt worth it. I honestly just want the $2,218.38 that I spent on labor back. I thought they were a reputable company.

A claim was opened and a replacement was set up and then cancelled at your request. The part purchased came with a part replacement warranty. We cannot cover labor. You have been refunded in full. My next step will be to inform my local news channel in hopes of saving someone else from losing their hard earned money on your bad products. Also, thank God for social media. Im sure there are a lot of people out there who would like to know about your business practices. I want the $2,218.38 that I spent on labor.

      On Dec. 20, 2022 my wife car stopped on the side of the road again after I filed a claim with BBB under WC119508 in september for a faulty water pump which the *************************** only paid $50 a hour for labor and the cost per labor average is $135. i absorbed the cost of $600 in which the motor cost $3,000. I took it to the I paid to have it towed to Chrysler and through numerous emails with Company, **** and *** at Chrysler and ***** at Express who fixed it prior. They have concluded the motor failed internally and will not crank. My problem is that the warranty place won't make a decision on who needs to do the break down to see what is wrong and if I pick the wrong Company then they will void my 4 year warranty in which I only had this motor a year and half. They are saying I have to pay $450 to get it looked at to determine this and it's under warranty. This is a very disheartening customer ********************** company and dishonarable company. We need movement on this vehicle since we only have 1 running vehicle and paying other people to catch a ride back and forth to work.       I ordered a Nutech engine from this company.They sent me an engine that is damaged.I have filed a warranty claim and they are refusing to honor the warranty.Their poor quality control has lead to requiring multiple days of extra labor.

      I purchased a remanufactured replacement motor through Oreillys for my **** Silverado. I had nothing but issues with it from the start. I finally had a Complete diagnostic run on a brand new motor and come to find out it had low compression on cylinder 7. So I have been trying to get this fixed for almost 3 months now The guy over the claim, ********** does not call back and has the sorriest attitude I have ever dealt with They had the shop re-do the diagnostic test and send videos of what the truck was doing, not doing, etc. Well weeks went by with no response, no return call to me or the shop. (Keep in mind the shop is calling as well). Long story short the shops video diagnostic wasnt good enough and they said they would have to send someone on site. The last time I heard from the warranty guy was via voice mail on 12/30/22 I called back within 30 minutes left a message and still no return call. I have called and 3 voicemails on his phone as well as Calling and talking with other associates at the facility. Long story short they are about as sorry a place that I have ever dealt with. I have been almost 3 months without my truck and its sitting at a shop causing me to have to pay storage not to mention no vehicle to drive to work. So we called last week on Wednesday oh yea we will have him call you, we call back just a little while ago yea he will call you right back. This company is full of C*** ********* has a 5 year warranty and it hasnt been in the truck 6 months and less than **** miles if that. Guess its time to hire an attorney

      12/11/23. I ordered a radio receiver with navigation and satellite radio mp3. Option rb5. I paid 375 dollars. I then received on different occasions 3 radio screens only which sell for 100 dollars and also is not what I ordered. I had to drive to return 2 of them and now I am waiting for the shipping information for the third. I can't get a response in the form of an email from lkq.
