1 starI had the dyson hp02 fan which was making a strange sound, I called customer service to troubleshoot. They accepted to replace the machine with an upgrade to the hp 07 fan since the hp ***************************** so I dropped off my fan at a *** center to return to a dyson warehouse for the exchange process. 3weeks later and I havent received my replacement fan. They took my dyson hp02 fan and they never sent me my replacement. *** called several times and I keep getting told that the warehouse is still investigating the issue. What a rip off! If they are not going to give me a replacement fan as they promised, then they should send back my original fan.Review fromAudrey G

1 starHad been using a Dyson purifier/humidifier for a while, and it seemed to work fine at first but after it's first cleaning it started having problems. It is now completely unusable for several reasons- the air it releases smells like old socks and plastic (with regular proper cleaning and the brand-name filter), it emits a high-pitched whine continuously even if the purifier was not even on, and it often randomly jumped from saying the air is clean to saying it is bad and blasting the foul air smell. It caused me to have increased respiratory issues and is clearly TOXIC. I was using it in my bedroom so I could breathe easy at night and it has caused my health problems to increase dramatically. I kept blaming other things in the room until I removed the air filter and suddenly I am not coughing and wheezing all the time. When I tried contact Dyson about these issues, I got no response even after multiple attempts.The $1000 "purifier" will be going in the trash, where Dyson as a company belongs.Review fromChris B

1 starI ordered a vacuum from Dyson on-line, and then received an email saying it was out of stock now and it couldn't be fulfilled. Instead of offering a refund, they asked if I wanted a different model. The email came from a fishy address, and had misspellings in the body of the email itself, so I reached out to customer support to see if this was legitimate. Once I started the chat with customer service they guaranteed me that they actually had the order in-stock and it would be shipping in the next 2 days. I asked why they sent the email then and they couldn't tell me anything. Fast forward to a week later and finally a free adapter for the vacuum they offered at checkout arrived, but no vacuum. I reached out to them again to cancel the order because at this point I knew something was off and was initially met with "you can't cancel your order because we don't have it in stock right now" - to which I let them know "I can". After a lengthy phone call I finally got them to cancel my order, but they said they couldn't send me an email verification of it so who knows if it worked! 1 starBought a V15 Cordless Dyson Vacc in May 2023 at the store. They were to ship the best version with all accesories from the manufacture immediately. Approx 5 days later the manufacturer emailed me a cryptic message asking because they were out of stock for the version for an unknown period of time that I purchased a the store and did I want a different (cheaper) version at the same price, not informing me of the Vacc diffs, but finding out that that it comes with less accessories and that the retail is lower. After 4 days, finally able to reach the original **, ***** store and they said that they would ship the Vacc and Dyson would ship the rest of the shipment, brushes, etc. . Vacc arrived 2+ weeks after I thought I would have it in 3 days, and 3+ weeks for the other items. Found out that while the wall dock didn't hold all of the accessories didn't come with the cheaper unit because it is for the V10 not the V15, while it is sold with the more expensive version. Bait and switch. So, while the V15 sits pretty on its own stand the rest of the accessories are on the floor with my dog chewing on the items, until I can buy multiple grey V10/V15 wall docks from ***** because I can't reach a Dyson person to sell me the grey $20/$25 item to me to get the misc parts off of the floor. 1 starOrdered a vacuum through their website on 5/29 with a promised delivery date of 6/1. Package was not delivered over a week later. I reached out to customer service and they said they could ship a new one but it would take 3-4 weeks! I said no just cancel my order. They provided a cancellation confirmation number. I received an email shortly after saying they would not cancel my order but I could wait until the vacuum arrived and then return it. I indicated that arrival was the problem and they suggested I reach out to the shipper (GLS). So I did and they immediately told me the package was missing and provided written confirmation of that. I talked to Dyson customer service again and gave them the lost confirmation and they chastised me for contacting the shipper myself. They said that was inappropriate and they would need to open an investigation themselves. I asked to speak with the investigators and was told they werent available and were not onsite. The agents continued to tell me the vacuum would be delivered and I should rest assured. Its now almost a month later. The vacuum has not arrived. Tracking indicates its lost and Dyson refuses to acknowledge this and issue a refund. I disputed the charge with my credit card and they immediately credited me backed and frankly were shocked at how Dyson has handled this. This has been the worst customer service Ive ever experienced. I would not recommend purchasing through Dyson.com.Review fromJingwen C

1 starI purchased a Dyson heater, model HP01, from the Dyson **** outlet in January 2020. After three years of careful use and maintenance, the product suddenly malfunctioned. On March 2nd, I contacted your customer service center through your official website and followed their advice to send the faulty machine to your repair center via *** courier service for inspection and repair.Firstly, on March 10th, I received a message from the repair center requesting payment for the repair. Despite multiple attempts to contact the repair center and make the payment over the phone, I was unable to reach anyone for several days, regardless of different time periods or consecutive attempts. Unable to make the payment, I had to resort to completing the payment through a link provided by the online customer service center on the ********************** official website.However, within two hours of receiving the machine back on March 23rd, the same malfunction occurred again. In other words, Dyson charged me $162 for the repair, but failed to fix the issue and returned the faulty machine to me. Consequently, on the same evening of March 23rd, I contacted the Dyson website's online customer service and explained the entire situation.On March 26th, I sent the faulty machine back to ***, and according to the tracking information, it arrived at the repair center on April 14th. However, since then until today, June 5th, I have not received any updates regarding the progress of the repair. Every time I proactively contacted the online customer service through the ********************** website, they informed me that the repair center is still waiting for replenishment of the parts required for the faulty component. They were unable to provide a repair completion date and despite my repeated inquiries, they remained uninformed. This handling attitude has left me deeply disappointed.Review fromHazel Z

1 starDyson customer service gives false price match promise to misguide customers buy products through their website. Same case as many customers encountered below. Last month, I decided to purchase the Dyson Airwrap and V15 Detect vacuum. Before finalizing my order, I contacted Dyson's customer service to inquire about their price match policy, as I found better deals for these products on Bestbuy and ****** respectively. To my delight, the representative confirmed that Dyson would indeed match these prices. Trusting this information, I placed my order on Dyson's website. However, after a long wait of 14 business days with no update, I contacted Dyson's customer service once more. This time, I was informed that my price match request had been denied due to it being against their policy. This not only contradicted the initial information provided by their representative, but it also resulted in a higher cost for the products. Even though Dyson acknowledged the miscommunication on their part, they refused to take responsibility for the misinformation and failed to refund the difference. This experience has left me feeling deeply disappointed and frustrated. The fact that Dyson is unwilling to honor a commitment made by one of their representatives seems very unprofessional and unfair. Furthermore, the delay caused by Dyson has resulted in missed opportunities to purchase the products at discounted prices elsewhere. 1 starTheir customer service is really horrible. The agent promised to send me a complimentary hair dryer stand two months ago. I followed up and they denied it even though I still have the transcript of the conversation I had with the agent. What's worse is that they just registered my machine without my consent. And the purchase date they put in is completely wrong, which would shorten the warranty I should have on this machine.Review fromDevin J

4 starsAfter I filed with the BBB, the complaint was handled quickly and correctly. It is unfortunate that it had to get to this point, but I understand good help is hard to find, even for Dyson. **** in customer relations went above and beyond to handle this.Review fromMichael M

1 starSpend half as much with the competition. No benefit is given for the premium paid to Dyson. **************** is no help when order expectations are not met. Shipping is never in a timely manor, both times I have placed an order with Dyson the expected ship date was not met and falsely advertised. Items are always in processing when checking on status and no expedited shipping or discounts offered for the inconveniences. Products also do not outperform the competition, you are just wasting money using Dyson versus others.
