1 starDO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH DYSON - I ordered a flat iron for my wife, and after receiving payment, they indicated they did not get paid. I contacted them and proved payment, but by then they had cancelled my order and issued refund. My question is, if you did not receive the money why are you issuing a refund. 1 starI ordered a tool kit from Dyson to work with my vacuum cleaner. I received tracking information that my package was on the way. When I received it, I only received one box. The tool kit was supposed to have two tools in it. I did not receive the work top tool, but I did receive the crevice tool. When I called customer service to ask about my other tool, I was told that it was out of stock and I would have to call back in two weeks to ask them to send one out free of charge. As I paid $60 for the two tools as a package, there is no free of charge in that. When I asked why I needed to call them and have it sent, I was told that was the way they worked. I have a picture that the *** label was only affixed to the crevice tool and there was no attempt to send a second item. At no point was I informed that the other tool was not in stock, nor was I informed that there was/would be a second package. I told customer service their resolution was not acceptable and I either wanted them to mail it without me calling or a refund for the tool I did not receive. They agreed to a $20 refund. I have been told, it will take two billing cycles or approximately two months. This is the worst experience I have ever had with Dyson. And at several points, I had to ask for clarification from the customer service rep, who said that I would be offered a refund for a return. He then clarified that as I did not receive the item it was not a return. I do not want to return the crevice tool I received. That is the whole purpose of why I ordered the kit. I dont feel that Dyson even tried to assist me. The only reason I had any resolution was because I pushed. We shouldnt have to do that. Dyson should have sent me some sort of notification that the one item was not in stock. By the way, I also have a screenshot that shows it still stating it is in stock. I think I should still receive my item. But I should not have to be the one to notify them to send it.Review fromJulia G

1 starDyson is absolutely horrible. Jerked me around for over a month to get out of honoring my warranty and send me a replacement for my BROKEN airwrap. I see several people who have filed complaints about them not honoring their warranty, it astounds me that they have an A+ rating... They outsource their customer service to god knows where and they wont let you talk to a supervisor, they just do what they can to save the company money. For a company that "prides" themselves by being the best, they are far from it. I will never purchase from Dyson ever again. I have called customer service at LEAST 40 times. Even the Dyson ************** said they get complaints all the time. WHEN WILL THEY LISTEN? Probably never. They're a multi-billion dollar company and cant bother to have good customer service. Is Shark any better? I don't know but at least their hair dryer and vacuum works and has never given me issues. Dyson's products are not well made and have flaws. FIX IT.Review fromAlmira T

1 starI bought a vacuum from Dyson and the brush roll stopped working during the **********. Contacted customer service and they said I had to ship the defective vacuum back before they will send a replacement. So I will not be able to vacuum my house for a month until I get a new vacuum. 1 starI am 73, and bought my first Dyson 10/11/21. I have a 2 year warranty on my Dyson v15 Detect. My Dyson died on March 18, 2023. I have called customer service and talked to technicians 5 different times. They insist I return the vac. My husband has Parkinsons, and I have MS. *** local shipping refuses to send the vac. The closest shipping facility is 40 miles from our home. We have to hire transportation anywhere outside of town. This company has the worst customer service department of any company I have ever dealt with. The five different techs, with whom I spoke, each made me go through their troubleshooting before the would even talk with me. I do not mind paying a higher price for a good product, but I do mind a company that requires this kind of interrogation before they will even consider replacing my vacuum. At the very least they could have sent us a stamped self-addressed shipping label in order that I might be able to mail this from my local shipping facility. I will never purchase anything from them again. My older dog just passed away, and the company Chewey, from whom I purchase all my dog meds and food sent me a condolence card and flowers. 1 starNothing but liars in their customer service department. I ordered a vacuum on April 1st and it was to be delivered on April 4th. Every day I get notification from delivery company GLS that it has been rescheduled for delivery the next day or days after. I call each day and am assured it will be delivered the next day. 3 days ago I was lied to and told that they contacted *** and *** would go to GLS and pick up the vacuum and deliver it to me the next day.... two days later still nothing. When I called 4/12 I was told same tracking number which is for GLS and not ***. EVERY person there is a liar. They "escalate" the request over and over and make promises that I will receive extra items. I just want the vacuum cleaner I ordered. They REFUSE to cancel day after day and then 4/12 said they would cancel and issue a refund, but it will take a week to two weeks to receive my refund. Of course it will. Then I get an email saying it has already shipped and they are unable to cancel the order. MORE LIES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! With a customer review rating of 1 out of 5, I guess I should have done my homework before ordering. 1 starSent in a heater for repair Nov 2022 following all instructions provided by Dyson, as of this moment, April 2023 I still have not yet receive my machine back. Called numerous of time, escalated and escalated, I keep getting same answer said my unit is repaired and should be sending back soon (same answer for 2 months) but never any actual progress. 5 starsI have bought my first Dyson living in **************** stuck inside with the fires so bad we couldnt open up our doors, and it was so dark out over a week.Since then I have purchased 3 formaldehyde, Dyson purifiers, 2 Hot/ Cool, and 5 other purifiers during Covid which we had twice. I have now not needed inhalers, or a specialist with heavy allergy medicine. In this large home I can always tell a difference in air quality, all you need to do is turn it off and see within no time things are so different once turned back on. I strongly believe after the issues of living in a place that was renovated for moving, and that the Dyson helped saved my life, and my daughters. Long story there. I wouldnt go another day without this product, and I have tried other air purifiers in the past, but I never had this result. The reason we have so many years because we have recently purchased a larger home, and we have some at another home out of state. We also love the vacuum switch was one of our first purchases back in 2015. I never knew that something could be so wonderful. I remember back in **** my father purchased a vacuum for over $2000. Dyson is the best. Nothing compares, and the price is fair. I highly suggest to reach out to customer service until you do you find somebody that will listen, because they are out there.Review fromKelly O

1 starI purchased a Dyson pure humidify + cool cryptomic on 8/30/20 Serial # *************** The first model would not call for a deep clean cycle, nor could it perform it when manually prompted.The second replacement was delivered 12/16/20 serial #*************** This model called for a deep clean cycle, but the humidifier completely stopped working. However the air purifier/fan still performed. I called when it first broke for a replacement as it was still under warranty. It was out of stock. I opted to hang on to it, as the air purifier was still working. I was told to call back and given an estimated date of when back in stock. Called again and again, always out of stock. This was purchased due to covid. My mother had stage 4 cancer and my daughter was in nursery school. Coexisting in a home, trying to do whatever humanly possible to keep my mothers air germ free, which is why I didnt want to be with out the purifier and wait for a replacement. Well my model never actually was returned to stock due to the design flaws. I was shipped my upgrade PH04 on 7/28/22. The warranty was extended to 12/10/22.Well now my current non warranty machine only 8 months old just stopped working on its own. And is not able to be repaired, per your service center that I had to argue for hours to even ************** to. I cant pay to have it fixed. Ive been offered 30% off a new machine So instead of $1000 of non working equipment, I can make it $1700 and be out even more$?!There are multiple reviews with customers experiencing the exact issues as me!! You are losing longtime loyal customers. This should be recalled. They do not live until warranty expiration and do not perform functions as advertised. Its a great idea, but until the tech is mastered, you shouldnt be selling them. You are ripping off people and losing customers and Im sure stockholders. I was both and will soon be neither!! I used to get excited for your new product launches.
