I am so upset with uscellular prepaid. I bought a $65 refill card and the 10 digit pin under the gray strip is missing and they won't credit my account for it so because of this my service is going to get shut off and without internet I can't do my job or my college homework and I am going to lose my house, my car, and flunk out of college. That was my last $65 I had to my name. Uscellular has caused me to lose everything I have worked for my entire life for.

Terrible ripe off scammers! Shut off phone end of paid period and they still charged me another full month because they dont pro rate bills. They claimed my recycle date was different than day I closed it. Missed by 3 days but had to pay entire month plus $7 to call and pay with associate because account closed cant pay in store or online. Sure send a check but late fees if they dont get it. Cornered at every turn to milk ya. Hate US Cellular. Had them for 10 years no problem until last two years bills went up and up. Mint much cheaper. Half as much and no scams.

To be honest with you, this company is not what they say they are. They advertise lower prices but weve been with them for almost 2 years and every year our bill has crept up now we have over a $500 bill and I started trying paying off devices so that I wouldnt have to pay for the installments anymore. As soon as I paid them off, they refused to unlock the phones due to. They wanted my bill to be 100% current in order to do that so basically Im paying for a phone that Im going to and theyre gonna keep it if I dont pay off my bill and I cant go anywhere else that is a crime and that stealing they basically are stealing the property that Im paying for this is the worst cell phone company? I will never do business with them again and I will make sure that everybody Everywhere knows that this is a terrible terrible! company to have a cell phone with.

So, this is going to be broken up into two parts, actual service, and customer service. If I could give 0 stars for customer service, I would. For the actual service, I have no complaints, service was good in my local area. For customer service, the absolute worst customer service I've ever dealt with. I had been offered a job outside of the **** and contacted US Cellular to end my service since they did not cover the area I would be going to. I was told I needed to pay my phone off, and that 2 hours after it was paid off, the *** would unlock so I could change providers. The next morning, it was still locked. I contacted support and they told me 2-3 days after the phone was paid off it would unlock. On day 3, I called again, and I was told my phone was put in a "priority" unlock status. At this point, I had already flown out to my new location and had no cell phone service at all. On the day my service ended, (7 days after the initial request), my SIM was still locked. I contacted support and they told me yet again they would put a request in, and it would be 24 hours and it would be unlocked. 24 hours later, still locked. I contacted support and explained how frustrating this was because I had no service and I was no longer with them and the phone had been paid off for over a week and my SIM was still locked. Their excuse was that I "fell off the radar" because they were backlogged. They also told me the initial "issue" was probably because they had put I was on military orders, which was not the case, and I had never even brought up going overseas for the military. They failed to mention that in the first 4 or 5 calls. 9 days later, most of which were overseas with no service, my SIM finally unlocked. It was a shame their customer service was as terrible as it was, as I had no issues with them prior and looked forward to coming back to them once I was stateside. 0/10 do not recommend to anyone.

Only giving one star because I have to put a something in. Constant dropped calls or calls that don't even come through. We've had US cell for many years but the last 2-3 years have been horrible. Looking at switching to another carrier.

I'm appalled with the service my parent's have gotten over the past couple of years. They had us cellular for their land line for a number of years and over the past couple of years their land line would quit working. We would have to reset about once a week. For the last month, their land line has not worked, which is hugely problematic as they are 86 years old and rely on it.
We've been told they don't know what the issue is and blamed it on other providers they have for cable and internet. Their internet and cable company have been so kind to come to their house and check things out. It is a us cellular problem but no one knows how to fix, nor has anyone from us cellular helped us.
We are now switching providers to Spectrum, but us cellular will not release their phone number. They have had this number for 60 YEARS. Spectrum has tried to resolve and I have tried to resolve to no avail. Now today, us cellular will not speak to me as my name is not on the account, but it was noted earlier in the week that I am an authorized person. I have called us cellular twice this week and the representatives have seen I am authorized, but today they wouldn't talk to me. This is ridiculous and completely frustrating. This should not be so difficult.
I've kept track of my time and I've spent over 5 hours on the phone with various representatives just this week. Over the last month it's been close to 15 hours.
I'm begging you to release their land line phone number. Have some mercy for older folks trying to navigate a technological world that is overwhelming and difficult.

Was offered a "free phone upgrade" to the new Galaxy S24 Ultimate. Asked repeatedly was it actually free, did it come with service requirements, contract, etc. Woman in store said no, totally free, no obligation. Called their customer service line and asked the same questions. Got the same answer. So got the phone. It was not free. My bill per month tripled, I was locked into a contract for 3 years, and was charged a bunch of fees even though the big banner on their store and behind the sales woman's head said I was not going to be charged fees. The most aggravating thing: they charged me a big shipping fee to ship my new phone to the store!
When I complained to the store manager, he said I would have to talk to my sales woman because he had no idea what had been said. I pointed to the recording security device above my head and the three others in the room and said, you have what was said exactly right there! He insisted I could only work it out with the sales woman who wasn't here that day (and what use is such a store manager?!). Coincidentally, she has odd hours and I take care of my elder parent 24/7. She emailed me personally about a new promotion, so I emailed back about my issue and she said she could not help me.
My entire area was without service for 3 weeks starting a few days before Helene. The hurricane was blamed and customer service assured me crews were working on our only tower 24/7 to get it fixed. I have a clear view of the tower from my porch. No one was ever near that tower for the entire time. And all the other carriers had excellent service in my area. Due to my constant need to have service (24hr care of elderly parent), I had to buy a second phone and take out service with another company. US Cellular will not refund the 3 weeks or let me cancel my service with them. Nevertheless, I am done with them. WORST BUSINESS EVER!!!!!

Absolutely the worse internet provider I have ever used. I had to use them for 2 years because they were my only option until recently. I switched the day another service became available. They never once delivered the speeds that they claimed. If I asked, they would say the same thing about how they were working in my area and that the construction might be the problem. That was every time for 2 years. Even when I went to cancel and they asked why, they gave me the exact same excuse. Now I have faster service for half the price. It is disgusting that such a terrible business is allowed to prey on consumers who have no other options.

Lie, they are worst than a used car salesman and use the bate and switch. After making a deal they go back and change it after you leave.
