Walgreens staff in pharmacy incredibly rude and incompetent. I went to pick up prescription for my mother. The first ********* was helpful but stated only two of the 4 were ready and they were about to go on lunch so if I could come back between 2 and 230 the 3 available would be ready. I arrived back at 210 and there was a long line. I get in it and wait. Once at the counter the **** says the third prescription still hasn't been processed and suggested I call the pharmacy myself if I really want the medicine. She then goes behind the counter and talks trash about to her coworkers that I can perfectly hear and tell me to wait on the side And I will be called when it's ready. I call the other pharmacy to correct the issue with my mother changing medication. I then air and wait until 237 when my name is finally called I get back in line and when I get to the front suddenly one of the other medications, which I had seen ready earlier is now not ready. At this point I have had it with the staff and ask where it went finally a different staff member looks in the bin and finds them The third **** who was helping me didn't even bother to look for the medication she was just going to have me wait on the side yet again. This is completely unprofessional and unacceptable behavior from people who are supposed to be professional on medications that should have been ready hours before arrived. Also the complete lack of empathy by people in the medical profession was egregious. I am trying to help my mother with terminal cancer I do not have time to wait two hours to pick up medication.

I bought a Walgreens NICE brand of sunflower seeds. The package says ??% satisfaction guaranteed. When I opened the package and poured out some "seeds," there were more shells in there than seeds. The package was at least 1/4 full of shells!!! It was disgusting. I had to literally fish out the seeds from all the dregs to eat them. Walgreens is cheating their customers and being very dishonest. They're putting in less seeds and filling the rest of the bag with c*** I will never buy those seeds again, and I will be ***** of all their **** brand products because if they cheated with the seeds, I could bet they've cheated with all their NICE products in some way. Buyers beware?? Their seeds were not NICE at all and I was definitely NOT ??% satisfied. Boooo??

Its beyond comprehension how the lovely people who work in my 4 local owned-by-Walgreens Duane Reade stores maintain their composure and goodness of heart. The working conditions are atrocious, with dirty floors and shelves, and in one case, invisible built-in machinery that makes a noise OSHA would not find acceptable for people working near airplanes, much less a drugstore. The stores have approximately half the number of employees they once had, leaving them clearly understaffed at all times. Walgreens offers shoppers pick-up service, but pressures the severely overworked and undoubtedly underpaid employees to fulfill the order in half an hour or less. Why they dont allow the customer to choose a pickup window, like a normal store, is beyond me. The employees deserve so much better than the medieval working conditions they face every day since Walgreens bought Duane Reade. What a blight on society and humanity. And let me guess: the executives salaries and bonuses have reached all-time highs. Disgraceful.

Walgreens on S ****** and *********** ** in *********** is incompetent as far as I am concerned. A prescription was sent to them from a physician in Boerne Tx for a friend of mine at 10am. At 7pm they were on hold for 30 minutes. They went to the pharmacy to pick up prescription and was told it wasnt ready because a question needed to be asked. The pharmacist came to the window and asked their question and was satisfied with the answer and then the person picking up the prescription was told now it can be filled. Come back in 20 minutes. To me that is incompetence why could they not have filled the prescription and have it ready? Ask their question and then give it to the patient. I am so glad I do not use Walgreens anymore. I havent used them in eight years and I will never ever use them again. Seems like theres school children running the pharmacy at Walgreens on ****************************. Military **. in *********** !

I am just disappointed in Walgreens ability to be a pharmacy. You are given a call to come pick up a medication only to arrive and find it hasn't even been filled yet, but it "is in the system". Then, you are told that it'll be 1 1/2 to 2 hours. Then it still isn't ready. 45 minutes later, you are told it is ready and then asked to get back in line to pick it up. Just so tired of the lack of service standards these days. If the team is overworked, try hiring some more people. Some of these medications are critical for people and giving them the runaround could be detrimental to someone's health. When we tried to transfer to a cheaper pharmacy, the Rx transfer was denied. I'm sorry, you don't get to make that decision. I feel like Walgreens has gone from industry leader to laughing stock.

Walgreens pharmacy customer services is a disgrace. I have a ********************** online account. I put at least two days ahead my mother's prescriptions because I know the pharmacy takes long to refill. They put one of the prescription on hold for questionable reasons. In the app it says don't have to do anything about it. In the meantime one day is running and nothing is happening. I understand that is the prescription was change by the doctor is questionable, but if she already have taking the prescription before why put it on hold. I called around 12pm was on hold for about 20 minutes. Spoke with the pharmacist and told them that she is taking the new prescription already. They told me ok they prepared it and would have it ready for the afternoon. Came to the pharmacy around 5:30 pm waited on the line for 20 minutes patiently to find out the the prescription was not ready and that I have to wait another ***** minutes. They are really playing with people's time. What was the point for me to call and for them to tell me it would be ready later. No excuse at all.

I had a recent prescription sent to Walgreens on a Saturday. Despite repeated assurances that they would get it done that day, when I called at 5:30 they admitted that I would have to wait until Monday. No one contacted me to notify of this delay. When they did fill my prescription on Monday, they double charged me. This is the second time a local Walgreens has done this. When I called the local store, they flatly refused to address the issue. Told me I had to call corporate. When I called corporate, they insisted that I needed to address this at the local store. When I told them the local store refused to even investigate the issue, they told me that Walgreens would deal with the situation (even said it was "simple"), and I would get a call from Walgreens in 20 minutes. That was 3 days ago.I finally had to contact my bank, because Walgreens would not address the issue in any way. Deeply disappointed.
