1 starSears garage door services is the worst I've ever experienced. I've tried to get a service tech to repair my $4000 garage door I just purchased about 3 weeks ago because the garage door opens and closes all throughout the day and no one has been seen to repair it or find out why it's malfunctioning. They have rescheduled our appointment 3 times without contacting us and we wait around all day for them just to have them tell me they dont know whats going on. Its been a fiasco and a headache. I will never order anything from them ever again. Wow!!!!Review fromBrittany P.

1 starWhen I bought my home in November 2021, Sears had contacted me trying to get me to purchase a home appliance warranty. As a new home buyer this sounded like a great idea until: My dishwasher broke early June. A phone call was made and I was on my way to receiving a brand new dishwasher. I pay my premium each month, I've paid the $75 deductable and yet it is now near September and no one can give me any answers as to where my dishwasher is or when it will be here. I've contacted Sears Home Warranty countless times and to no avail, I still don't have a dishwasher OR any answers. I believe I am being swindled as no one has offered me any answers. This is my first ever complaint to the BBB; I am not a complainer; but as a single mother of 3 young kids a dishwasher is a NECESSITY. I hope this review helps bring other naive first time home buyers some insight as you'll be much better off shoving $50/month under your mattress than wasting your money with this company.Review fromMartha T

1 starMy name is *************************, I have been in contact for at least 3 months with Transform Holdco LLC (Sear). This is in regard to the Whirlpool refrigerator that my daughter and I purschased. This problem started back in June 2022. We did receive a correspondence that they would pay for the repairs per a young man name ******. Then once we had the appliance repaired and to send them an Email copy to the email page which I did in July. Since then I have sent in 4 different times copies of my email pages of the billed receipts. And every time I speak to one of their customer service persons. Its there recommendations is to resend the receipts. This was the final straw I want my monies paid in full back the total cost of which I paid to Ace Appliance Center which you can see from my receipts. **************Review fromLinda B

1 starI have been dealing with this scam of a corporation for 10 months now. Their technician, after putting in multiple parts, which probably cost more than the dishwasher itself, 7 repair visits, 3 no show visits, finally declared it unrepairable. After a month of "call back in 10 days" and 5 calls to agents who either don't speak fluent English, cannot help because they cannot read the previous agent's notes, flat-out lies from the previous agents as to what they tell me and what they put in their notes for the next agent, there is absolutely no recourse! I cannot get beyond the agents: they cannot send me to a supervisor, and they tell me they have no way to connect me to a team manager (although this is upon whom they continually blame the lack of progress on my replacement), and no one follows up on any of these calls or "escalations"; it is upon the customer to continually call back...and then they tell the same story, but then there are others to blame: now there's an off-line agent and an off-line manager that has failed in the line of communication.Oh, how I RUE the day I bought all my appliances for my kitchen remodel from Sears!! We've already had issues with the refrigerator as well. I have filed a complaint with BBB, but since Sears Holdings Corporation/Transform SR ****** LLC is not BBB Accredited, I'm not holding my breath that they will even respond. I would give them a 0 of 5 rating if I could!Review fromLawrence R

1 starDo not call sears home services to have a repair done. They will inflate the cost of labor and claim to give you a discount to get you to buy a sears home warranty. A sears home warranty is not affiliated with sears it is managed by Cinch home warranty and the technicians are terrible. They charge $75 just to make an appointment and you don't know who they get to come. i canceled my warranty because the sent someone who couldn't speak English and did nothing. It's the biggest scam going.Review fromTai K

1 starKENMORE REFRIG W/SDS, 1500-2500. 8/9/2022. SU# *******. SO #******** Tech ID: ********** is a total ripoff. They missed the appointments twice. All online and automated service. Finally they showed up third time. We already knew the problem being bad compressor in the refrigerator. The technician said it will take at the most 90 minutes to complete the repairs. Then he called the office and they sent estimate of ****** for the labor. Parts were covered under warranty since refrigerator was little over 2 years old.Where in the world you will pay ****** labor to install compressor in the refrigerator which takes less than hour and half to install?Furthermore they will not provide me parts under warranty since I am a technician and can do the job. Also online I found out that this was a chronic problem with Kenmore refrigerators using ** compressors. It should have been covered with full warranty.I do not mind to pay reasonable charges to install new part which takes less than 90 minutes to install.I would like to file complaint against Sears for charging unreasonable amount of labor charge,*******************************Review fromNowa S.

1 starPLEASE AVOID at all costs. This company is nothing short of a scam. I requested a duct cleaning service to my home, and two technicians came to do such work. At the beginning it looked like they knew what they were doing. One of the technicians went to the roof to do something with the duct system, I imagined it was part of the process. As they were wrapping up I noticed one guy pulled a spray can I thought it was some deodorant or some antibacterial spray. When I got a closer look, I noticed it was glossy paint. This man was using just free hand painted all A/C grills without asking or cleaning them. I had just painted the whole house including ceilings, he stained all ceilings and when I realized this I asked why he was doing this, the reply was don't worry about it and with a wet rag he began to clean the ceiling leaving ********************* in each room. Once I confronted him he stood ** in front of me and said; So now you are not going to pay? stamping his feet inside my own house". I requested to speak to the manager, but that was not possible, he made a call in Spanish and he said he was giving me a discount. At this point I felt in danger and only wanted them gone. A week later I went on the roof to discover this man had left my brand new unit pulled apart, hurricane belts undone, screws all over the roof. At this point I made a few calls to them. It was impossible to get anyone to return a call. I stopped payment. Then I got a letter from collections which said that they were going to ruin my good credit. I waited to get a reply but that was never the case. Finally after a few months I got on the phone with some very aggressive and rude man by the name of ****, I felt verbally assaulted. I paid over $2,800.00 for a service that was not performed correctly and now I have to spend another 3k to fix my ceiling.I was going to court but my lawyer told me to skip it since I was going to spend double the cost for possibly no refund.Review fromDavid B

1 starAvoid this company completely.Made apt online to repair refrigerator. Day of appointment realize never got call previous day reminding of appointment. Check email and realize that the website had completely made a phone number. The status page lists my appointment as still coming, and has my correct phone number.Chatted with someone from website to confirm appointment (which website still lists as happening) and she said that the technician was unavailable and I'd have to reschedule. The reschedule appointment is "coincidently" the same date as I could have gotten by just going to the website and booking a new appointment. Supposedly called 2 days earlier. I never got anything; maybe they called the phone number the website completely invented. But the status page did not say "needs to be rescheduled", nor did I get any email or text. So I don't believe it. Called customer support through painful automated system. Only way to get to a human was to click that I wanted a new appointment. Person who answered could only offer empathy. (Must be in the training). She had no power or authority to do anything. Didn't offer to waive diagnostic fee or try to work to get me scheduled earlier. She seemed to have no more power than I could have done by just going to the website and just booking another appointment. I was getting super irritated to have her express more empathy every minute because that honestly the only thing she was empowered to do.Avoid this company at all costs. It just isn't worth the aggravation. I'm honestly glad that I didn't end up with the technician coming. It would likely have involved multiple trips with random rescheduling needs. I should have known that they company is likely a sham "Transform Holdco" that is just using the Sears name to offer pitiful service.
