I WANT A NEW REFRIGERATOR. Purchased 1/3/2022 and have put another $1000 into it in the last 4 Months. Cannot talk to anyone in Sears Holdings except people from other Countries. I guess my next step is a Lawyer to settle this case.

Awful company, run, do not do business with them. Subpar service. Repair out twice now to service a refrigerator that is six years old. He didn't have his service vehicle or his tools and did nothing, both times. This guy needs to lose his job.

As of today 8/22/2022 I still havent received a final resolution response to my cancellation request or my resolution refund request in the emails thread below regarding my horrible experience. I would NOT RECOMMEND this company TO ANYONE; YOU ARE WARNED. Aug. 10, 2022, Hello. I have tried all day since about 11:00 am this morning to resolve this simple but very concerning matter that caused me many phone hours and talking to several customer service representatives. They were not able to satisfactorily assist me. Therefore, I was told twice that a supervisor would call me back in about an hour well that was about 4 hours ago still no callback. Here is my complaint in a nutshell to be respectful of your and my times. See ticket information attached. The Tech name ***** refused to give any other information. 1st of all he didnt have a mask and my 91 year old mother just got out the hospital a 1 1/2 weeks ago. He was given a new mask then his attitude was nasty from that point on. Here are the bullet points of my complaint as Im requesting a refund since he (*****) refused to service my washing machine upon a few minutes after arriving. 1. He said he wouldn't unstop any clogs. 2. Stated it was not his ******** could get fired. 3. He refused to give a write up on what he found as to why he could not perform his job. 4. He then said I probably could find another warranty company that will allow Techs to remove clogged machines. 5. He just walked out after being in my home in minutes. 7. I was deny my deductible refund, they refuse to send out another Tech. Lastly, two supervisors from your escalation department told they didnt have the power to even just canceled my plan. I received legal advice regarding the online cancellation form. My 1st claim ever after 1.5 years of monthly payments. I will not them another *****, especially regarding a simple resolution of needless to say if it was a difficult or expensive claim.

SCAM ALERT. Sears home warranty service is a scam. My washing machine been down since March 27,2022. Sears send ************ out to fix it. They kept ordering parts even after ************ told Sears that the washing machine has a shortage in it and it would cost more then the washer is worth to fix it. Still nothing. My washing machine is still broken and Sears just kept giving me the run around. DO NOT BUY SEARS HOME WARRANTY ITS A SCAM. ********************* and time.

To repair my 5 year old Kenmore Elite fridges failed compressor, on 07/20/22 the Sears **** Services phone representative said the technician would charge $300 for the labor, parts are free (given the 10 year manufacturer warranty for the compressor, and an additional optional warranty service for $49.99/mo would waive 50% of the labor fee which would be $150 off the labor. I was told I could cancel within 30 days with no additional penalties, fees, or charges. On 07/20/22 I agreed. Two days later, I was charged $612.25 ($476.36 for labor subtracting $150, the so called 50% discount + ****** for parts). In response to my concerns of ****** excessive fees (labor costs and parts costs not covered under the manufacturers warranty) the technician (ID ******** responded your fridge is worth $2000, besides it is 2 hours of labor, and the manufacturer does not cover additional parts. On 08/03/22 it took only 30 min fix the fridge + 20 min for pumping Freon into the system (automatic pump did the work while the tech was in his car) with a liberal labor time= 50 min. On 08/17/22 1:12 pm with 3 days left in my 30 day cancellation period, Sears **** Services company representative ***** H (ID ******* refused to cancel my subscription unless I pay an additional $150 for labor ($626.36 for labor for a total of $762.25) to avoid the $49.99/mo for 12 months charges. I refused explaining their flawed business model was predatory and asked to speak to a supervisor. The representative responded, there are no supervisors here. I ended the call. I called my bank to refuse further charges from this company and claim $345 to be returned. I got a 2nd quote by the ***************** for the same repairs totaling $477 as further evidence for the overpriced $762.25 Sears **** Services ****. I regret not reading these reviews before hiring Sears **** Services , please don't make the same mistake I made.

I currently have a warranty from Sears Home Warranty, and submitted a claim for my refrigerator. Received a Contract # and Contract Job # and have had three (3) technicians come to my home to review. Was told that I needed a Compressor. However, six weeks have passed, and I have not received any type of follow-up from either Sears or Technicians. When I put in my job # it is listed that the job has been completed. I only get prompts which also state that I need to contact the technicians who were sent to my home; however, when I call them, I only get the answering machine, and no formal response. I have paid my initial fee for service, and my monthly payment for the warranty. I've been told by the technician that my refrigerator would be replaced; but I never receive any formal response from anyone. When I signed up for the warranty, was told that I would receive $100 reimbursement for food loss. Now I am being told that this is not part of the warranty. I am constantly passed from one department to another and have spent hours on the phone. .Whenever I do have an opportunity to speak with someone, which is very rare, that person does not seem to know what is going on. At one point, I was told that my refrigerator was repaired, and the job closed out. which was not true, as no one has been to my home to repair the refrigerator. At this point, it seems as if I will need to purchase another refrigerator, since I cannot get a straight answer from anyone at Sears. This complete process has been an absolute NIGHTMARE, and I would not recommend this particular service or SEARS to anyone. I currently have five appliances under warranty, but do not plan on renewing once this expires at the end of the year. I do hope that I can get some type of resolution to this matter before taking further actions. **************

I called Sears home appliance repair to fix a dryer. I was given an estimate by the sevice person who then charged my card. I said no, i was then told by him and customer service agents as ********************** i ould not be charged. Lo and behold I get a **** for all of the charge, when I did not get the service or parts and bought5 a new dryer instead. i am now having to go through a huge long dispute process with my credit card, Instacart credit card, to even get this taken care off. My suggestion always always keep all record of all computer chats, all transactions, everything. Hopefully they will resolve and refund the almost $450.00 for nothing

This company will rip you off please, please do your research before doing business with Sears ************* They charged me $562.06 for a compressor for my Kenmore refrigerator. That is listed on their Sears parts direct website for $307.00. They also charged me $112.52 for a Drier Assy. that is listed for $76.00 on their website. For most service companies it is normal practice to stock items that you will need to complete a job. If not you will always be making several trips to complete a job that *** take you a few hours to do. Good luck with customer service it does not exist. You will get the run around for weeks in hopes that you give up! I find it interesting that if you call Sears that they ask on the automated call if you are calling about a refund.... I will be filing a complaint with the A.G about price gouging!!

I purchased an warranty for the appliances in my home. Been trying to get my washer fix since June 17, 2022. I have called Sear's several times with them falsely setting up fake appointments to get me off the phone and no Technician showing up on the schedule date provided. This is truly unprofessional and unacceptable.
