I purchased a Powersmart Snow Blower Model PSS24HP/MB7109A from my local ********** on October 16, 2023. I have used the machine exactly once. The product manual says not to return the product to place of purchase and to contact the manufacturer for any issues related to the product. This machine began leaking oil after the first and only time it was used. I have called the companys customer service line hundreds of times over the last few months, and have only been able to speak with a person once. That person who called herself *******, said they would complete a warranty registration for the snow blower, and also send me replacement parts to take care of the leak. It is now another month later and I have tried calling them on average two to three more times daily with various results always ending up with either a recorded message that says no one is available to answer your call, or a recording that says how many callers are ahead of me and to wait for the next available agent. The very last call I made yesterday morning when the company hours were open for business, resulted in the recorded message saying there was only one customer in line ahead of my call, however, I waited for three hours only to get another recording saying no one was available to take my call. Due to the extremely difficult process to get in contact with anyone from the company and to have them apply the warranty to try to remedy the problem, as well as my very disappointed feeling with the sub par product provided, I would like the company to know that I would like to send the product back to them for a refund. I have kept the original box that the snow blower was shipped in, which I now feel is a bit prophetic and also a little ironic, says to keep in the rare event it needs to be shipped for service.Initial Complaint

I bought a brand new snow blower from ********** on 8-27-2023. It was a PowerSmart 26 in. 2-stage gas snow blower. Went to use it on our first big snowfall, 1 foot, and the upper auger cable broke off. I have tried calling them and left voice-mail at their number ************. I have also emailed them multiple times at *********************** with no response. I would like either for them to repair this or reimburse my money since I could not use this brand new snow blower. Any help you can provide would be appreciated.Initial Complaint

Snowblower bought through Amazon. Received broken.Have spent two weeks just trying to register for warranty. No one answers phone calls or email. Have a new machine I can't get fixed or use. If you call them your told your next in line. After a 35 minute wait it tells you there is no one to help you and they hang up.Home Depot also sells them and they are getting complaints about them. THE company list two different addresses. ****** and ***************** both in ********. Different phone numbers but they go to the same answer system. I'm lost at what to do. On 10/1/23 I purchased a PowerSmart Snow Blower from HomeDepots online order site. On January 12, **** I used it for the first time. After 2nd use (same day), the blower stopped throwing snow out of the chute. I checked all probably causes, i.e., chute clogged, something jammed in blades, broken shear pins, etc. and none of these were the cause. I contacted the Technical Support number shown on the blowers manual *************) on several occasions (leaving voice messages with no return call as well as staying on hold for 37 minutes after receiving wait on the line for next available representativeyou are 7th calleretc., then you are next in line just to receive message were sorry but no one is available to take your call right now, please leave your name and number and someone will get back with you). Please note on 1/19/24 I also sent an email that is also listed on the manual ************************* and have yet to receive a reply nor even an acknowledgement that it was received. One of your questions is What has the business done to rectify and respectfully said nothing has been done as I cant even reach them nor receive a response to email. I feel PowerSmart has consciously and intentionally made it impossible for customers to reach them and is scamming consumers.Initial Complaint

I purchased a Power Smart Cordless Snowblower Model DB2805 on December 15, 2022. The impeller and auger suddenly stopped spinning as I was recently snowblowing my driveway. I've confirmed that there are no obstructions in the machine, the shear pins are not damaged and the drive belt is in new condition and in place. I've called service centers in my area all of whom will not accept Power Smart snowblowers for repair saying they cannot get replacement parts to do repairs. This snowblower is still within the 2-year warranty period so I tried to contact ********, **** to find any repair facility that will accept repairs for this machine. I called their Customer Help line ************* several times only to be put on hold for long periods, told that I was next to be answered but then returned to the main menu with no response. We purchased a snowblower on January 13th **** and it quit working the same day. I have tried to call the company 6 times and have been put on hold each time for 35 or more minutes only to get disconnected each time. There is never a person to talk to. Back in Feb 2023, I contacted the company re my snowblower, where the auger belt continues to slip off. I received a response via email from ***** in February, requesting I provide the serial number, shipping address, and proof of purchase. I sent the information. I continue to send emails in March 2023, and June 2023. I was still asked to provide the serial no., shipping address, and proof of purchase, for which my previous emails included that information, to no avail. I've also tried contacting them via phone, but stay stuck on hold, and when it is my turn to speak to someone, all of a sudden, another message begins with having me start over, as if I was never on hold. The last time I contacted them was in October, 2023, by email, for which the person apologized for the 'inconvenience', and requested the same information that the others requested. It's as if they have not read my previous emails. Out of desperation, I tried calling again, Jan. ****, and the same instance occurred with me being on hold, and the answering voice directing me to start over with 1 for choosing a name, or 0 for operator. I was on hold for 37 and 47 minutes. That is why I decided to file a complaint. All I am trying to do, is for resolution on the slipping auger belt. My warranty expires in May ****. I am dissatisfied with the level of service this company has provided. I would appreciate resolution. I am not sure if they are trying to stall the process so that my warranty will no longer be valid. Thank you for your assistance.
