This would not be an issue because of your Survey which you claim will save me money! In fact at the end of the survey you tried to sign me up for a year-long subscription to a magazine this is deceptive advertisement. No one reads magazines anymore. Add the end of the survey I rejected the survey. You signed me up and also miss directed me so I ended up with a double order this is unacceptable and I will not tolerate it.

Purchased a trailer from camping world in October 2024. We were interested in buying a trailer listed for $20,000.00. We upfront got push back for trying to buy with cash. So we decided to finance. The company began the purchase with conditional financing (the bank called and offered 6% lower the next today). Before we knew it we spend $4000k they didnt list in the contract for cleaning and specifics of things they take care of before pick up- cleaning, look over, making sure all batteries work, roof is good etc. We also got hussled into warranties to get a good interest rate. Mind you Im all for paying for service but that was absolutely absurd how bad they played their scandle game. Went to pick up the trailer a week later. It sat in a dark garage with water everywhere on the floor when we got there. We started around the trailer. We asked multiple questions as we knew things to look for and check on. There was a leak that caused the pump to not shut off. My husband asked if they checked the bearings and repacked them if they needed it- they confirmed it was done. They confirmed they handled cleaning, they showed us how to use the trailer. It hasnt been charged so we had to wait to check the slide and jacks. We took their word for everything they said they did and we left, took the trailer home and parked it for the winter. We were going to go camping for Easter and decided to check it over. We found we had a leak and took the trailer in to ********* since the experience with ****** was so bad. ********* after 6 months ********* has fixed my roof, fought with a warranty company about the appearance package they wont cover because it wasnt done or done right by ******. My trailer was coated in Dog hair that I scrubbed for hours. The bearings were never touched and were shot. The batteries were never checked, they were Corroded. ****** needs to refund the $4000 as they obviously didnt do what they signed saying they completed or a lawsuit is coming.Business Response

Had a tire blowout while traveling causing extensive damage to our Fifthwheel camper. Brought to Camping World for repairs and filled an insurance claim. Estimate was sent to ********** and they received $2800 to begin work. After nine weeks and repeated calls get a progress report with only minimal completed repairs I had to pick camper up to winterize and store for winter as we spend 4 months in the south and wouldnt want to leave it there or pay for storage. Upon taking possession of unit determined that many repairs are still needed. Returned to ******* in April and have attempted to bing until in for the remaining services. ****************** will not return my calls and neither will operations manager. Have discovered through talking with claims department that they have been paid for services that were estimated but never completed. Dealing with insurance to try and resolve but they tell me service **** wont return their calls ********* after attempting to get may camper repaired now for a total of two months in the fall and two plus months this spring, I have no option but to file this complaint and hopefully State Farm can get their money back and I can go elsewhere for service. *********************Business Response

An online purchase was made on 5/01/2025 in the amount of $19.25. It was sent to store where I picked up. It was order # ******* for 2 bunk sheets sets. Upon getting them and finding out was wrong size because ours our actually twin beds, I returned items to the same store for refund on 5/06/2025. Note this is well within the 90 day return period and they were both unopened. I was told I could only receive a gift certificate for in store purchase which I did not want or a check to be mailed to me with in 2 weeks. I said I wanted my money back so would like the check. My receipt shows check to be sent to me at my address dated the day of return. I have never received that check so called customer service who told me they do not send out checks and would contact the store, but the store did not respond to them. This has been more than a month now and I want my money back! I am getting nowhere with them and will never make another purchase through them!Initial Complaint

Took camper to ********** camping world they were suppose to repair refrigerator, said they did. ********************** in drive way then take to first rv spot. Not working still. Now camper out of warranty. They also failed to repair any of the other issues I took my camper there for. Call them they say they cant help me since I am in ********** now, they tell me nothing about having 30 days to reopen ticket for warranty Struggle with getting it back to camping world because I have to rent a vehicle to do so, the other camping world knew all of this before ******* me off the lot without my camper repaired. - call calera camping world, they say yea bring the camper here refrigerators usually have a two year warranty so you should be good. For months they lead me on and lie basically wanting to pull my camper into the shop 3 times. None of the times did they get what they needed for the warranty company. Finally after 4.5 months of sitting here someone tells me oh your refrigerator isnt under warranty and its 2500 dollars. I feel they are not taking responsibility for anything as a business. They arent trying to make it right. They have wasted my time for this long, camping world as a whole has let me down and wasted my money, time, and energy. I am seeking they take part of these charges away for my inconveniences and their incompetence and leading me on for months.Business Response

Complaint: 23438288
I am rejecting this response because:Statement Regarding Communication with Camping World Corporate Office
I recently spoke with Terri Bartlett at Camping World’s corporate office regarding the ongoing unresolved service issues with my camper at the Calera, AL location. During our phone call, no resolution was offered or discussed, and at no point did I state that I was unwilling to speak further on the matter.
Terri asked me to provide documentation—specifically, emails from a former Camping World employee. I informed her that I would first like to speak with someone to determine whether that was the appropriate next step. Shortly after, she sent me an email that stated, “Per our conversation, please reply to this email with your documentation.” Since that time, we have been actively compiling and organizing my full timeline of calls and emails for review.
Camping World’s later claim that I was not willing to continue the conversation is both inaccurate and unprofessional. This misrepresentation reflects a concerning lack of accountability and undermines trust in Camping World as a service provider. My full timeline clearly shows that throughout nearly five months that my camper remained on-site at Camping World Calera, I was proactively and repeatedly reaching out via calls and emails to request updates and push for resolution.
Instead of accepting responsibility, Camping World corporate representatives have focused on deflecting blame onto me, rather than acknowledging or addressing the documented service failures and miscommunications that originated from within their own organization. This is precisely why a transparent and documented review of my experience is necessary and justified.
Sincerely,
Jordan SorrellsBusiness Response

CWRV Sales has spoken to the customer. The customer
submitted her refrigerator concerns in January of 2025. Customers' concerns
were addressed in late March and early April of 2025. The customer feels that
this delay was the reason for the warranty denial. Her refrigerator/Magic Chef
warranty expired on 8-25-24. In addition, the customer stayed in Camping World
Campground for 5 months free of charge. To that end, we now consider this
matter closed.

Complaint: 23438288
I am rejecting this response because:
I am writing to formally respond to your recent message, which failed to address the actual substance of my complaint and, in several places, misrepresented both the facts and the timeline I have clearly documented.
To begin with, the suggestion that my extended stay at Camping World’s campground was a courtesy or favor is profoundly offensive. The only reason my camper remained in your possession for nearly five months was due to repeated delays, miscommunication, and outright negligence by your staff. I was not enjoying a “free stay” — I was stranded and forced to leave my camper in your care while chasing down basic service information, updates, and accountability.
Let me be absolutely clear:
The delay in repairs was not due to any warranty denial. The actual cause was your staff’s consistent failure to diagnose, follow through, or communicate effectively about the issue with my refrigerator.
My concerns were not addressed in March or April, as you claim. I have detailed records proving otherwise, including unanswered emails, delayed diagnostics, and failure to notify me of any warranty issues until May — long after the camper had sat on your lot with minimal action.
Any claim that my complaints have been resolved or that my experience reflects standard practice is simply false.
The implication that I received some form of compensation through free campground use is an attempt to deflect responsibility rather than acknowledge the disruption and financial burden caused by your prolonged inaction.
I have provided documentation at every step of this process. The timeline and communication trail speak for themselves and reflect a pattern of disregard for customer service and accountability.

My husband and I purchased a new 2022 Sundance ultralite pull behind on June ******* in ***** AL. **** though it was "older" it was still purchased as "brand new with 1 year, bumper to bumper manufactures warranty". It did have a small amount of cosmetic damage in an interior wardrobe that the dealership gave us a "we owe you" to have it repaired. Never mentioned a time frame that it needed to be done by, nor did the paperwork have any "expiration date" on it. Our salesman was very helpful and explained how the warranty would work if we had any problems within the first year. We have only been able to take our camper out 2 times in the past year with our busy schedules. We scheduled an appointment on April 5, 2025 with camping world in ******, AL to bring it in for the "we owe you", a bathroom faucet that was cracked and leaking, and the rear entry door to be readjusted or replaced since it was hard to open and shut the last time we took it out. The associate we spoke to said it was under warranty, so we shouldn't have to pay anything out of pocket. They called us 2 weeks later and explained that upon inspection, several seals were leaking, the "we owe you" was expired and that the warranty wouldn't cover any seals after 90 days. But no proof or paperwork has been presented for us to review. They just wanted to write up a quote and expected us to pay for it. I called our salesman in ***** to get some clarification and he was very adamant that the warranty should cover it all. We went in person on May 31, 2025 to discuss this with a manager since we weren't getting any clear communication from the service department. He basically just tried to placate us and didn't seem to have any solutions other than to get us out the door. They claim Salem will not return their calls about the "we owe you" but I have spoken to ***** several times and they are claiming that Calera will not return their calls. I do not think we should be financially responsible for these repairs.Initial Complaint

On approx. April 1, 2025, I took my pop-top camper in for a 4" crack in the plastic top. At drop off I explained exactly how I wanted the repair done, I shared a video of the process, and it was agreed to. I called advisor **** ******* 2 days after dropping off my camper to make sure they were using the process I expected, as in reality it was the only way to properly fix the top. I was told at that time by Mr. ******** "My guy is doing it his way. He knows what he's doing; when he's done, it'll be the strongest point on your top. Long story short, they did not fix the top in the manner agreed to, and within a week of getting my camper back, the crack reappeared and began to grow. I spoke to service manager ****** ******** who seemed shocked at the lack of craftsmanship, and ****** promised me both a full refund AND a 5-year guarantee that the crack would not reappear, instead of the customary 1-year guarantee that all customers get. I spent the next week trying to get the guarantee in writing, explaining to ****** that the crack was already back; the service advisor INSISTED on doing it his way, which wasn't the way we had agreed on, and now it was failing almost immediately. ****** lied to me and said someone else was writing up the guarantee. Well, my guarantee turned into a Zoom meeting with Camping World Corp.. Within 4 mins I was told, "We are giving you a full refund, and that's it. No guarantee included. I haven't cashed the check. I don't want it; I want my camper fixed. They say they don't want to work on it. It's because they destroyed it and know they can't fix it. They withdrew my 5-year guarantee, but I am still entitled to the same 1-year guarantee that all customers get. If they don't want to fix it, that's GREAT, because I don't trust them. I want to take it somewhere else to repair the damage done by Camping World, and Camping World pays the bill. To offer me a refund and destroy my camper free of charge is not an option. Please assist me in making Camping World live up to its obligations.Business Response

I want them to honor the one year guarantee every customer gets. A refund check was sent to me even though i have several emails sent, before they mailed a check, telling them im not accepting it. Telling them dont mail it to me, but they did anyway. I havent cashed it. Do they think destroying my camper top free of charge is ok? I bought an ** at Camping world in ********, **. The ** is brand - new. I had problems since the day they delivered it. I had a flood from the toilet. water was overflowing. I called the technician which I pay for monthly, he said, it was the dealership's problem because they did not empty one of the systems. Now I have a problem with the water system, the hose is suppose to be connected to the city water and after about 10 minutes the water starts to spurt out which is not normal. The dealership refuses to help me, the warranty company refuses to help me. The dealership wants me to bring in the ** to them, which I cannot do, I do not have the equipment to hall the ** back to them. I paid 700 hundred dollars to have it delivered to my property. Why would I pay for delivery , if I could have brought it home myself. No one answers me and they do not call me back, once the item is off of the lot they do not care anymore, I have a one year warranty, I had a problem with a vehicle once and they did the same thing, I won and they had to take the vehicle back. I am stuck with an ** in which the water system does not work and it is brand new. I need this repair in order for the water system to work properly, I am using water with a system that I am not suppose to use. Company has not responded and will not as per our last conversation come to the residence where the RV is stationed to fix the water valve, I am utilizing water from a system I am not suppose to use, it is for emergency only, at this point I have no other choice. Not one sales person has responded to my calls! This RV is really a piece of crap for the money and supposed to be NEW! I do not trust this company and do not believe a word they say. I need this fixed immediately and when the sale was completed, the sales person or the finance manager explained if there was something wrong with the RV , I would have to haul the RV myself back there to be fixed. This is was not explained to me. This is a horrible company as well as the technicians because I receive all different answers.

They fraudulently charged a card. I discussed a purchase with them, we came to an agreement that they would charge a $500 hold and that would be released after papers were signed. I came to the agreement verbally with ******, They then changed the paperwork when my ex husband came in to sign. They then charged my card $2000 for a down payment that he didn't require, we had our on financing. They told my ex husband a lie that I was aware of the $2000 and was ok with it, So he signed since I was receiving radiation for my cancer and he could not get a hold of me, which I explained to ******. I think that's why they changed all the details because they knew my ex husband was just there to sign and they could take advantage. They changed the financing details and stole $2000 from my card. I had told ****** many, many times that I was ok with the $500 as long as it was refunded but that I was not authorizing anything further on my card. They did not tell my ex husband which card they were billing, they just said the card on file. It was also already charged prior to my ex husband coming into the store, they did it while getting paperwork done. I am not sure why they changed the agreement, ******** stated they were ready for the loan at 100%. They changed the financing terms and down payment to get their rep ****** more commission on the sale. We have not finished the loan through ******* first. They keep running my ex husbands credit and will not refund my $2000. My card was ran fraudulently and without my approval. I told ****** that he was not to run more than $500 and he agreed I would get my money back.Business Response

I am rejecting this response because: They should admit fault for what they did wrong. They've called me multiple times to harass me regarding this case. Mike in finance has been extremely rude and degrading. Tried to tell me I was breaking the law by recording my calls, even though we're a one sided state. He was extremely rude, said he would refund however my credit card company stated up until the exact moment, no refund has been issued.
Sincerely,
Sandy HardyBusiness Response
