  I purchased a brand new Pontoon Boat from Camping World in Tyler * when it was delivered to my ****** it was missing parts which would not allow me to use the boat properly. The cover was filthy * the floor surface was stained * the boat was missing items that were clearly represented on the advertisement. Now that don't communicate with me. This was a $50,000 purchase and I can't even get a call back from their management regarding these issues!

  Poor customer service. ********************** doesnt get back to you on issues you have with the ** they sell you. Maintenance manager doesnt follow through with saying h*** order the part himself. They charge you to mail keys they didnt give you when you bought the ** and they dont work so you paid for nothing. You leave him email messages and he doesnt get back to you. You call the business and they say someone will call you back and they dont. You spend thousands on an **, the company delivers the ** with out coordinating the delivery date with you so you can be there to receive it and they dont give you the right keys for all the doors and compartments to lock your stuff up. Once they get you to sign the paperwork they write you off. Not a company I would recommend to other people.

  We purchased our travel trailer from this dealer and never again,we signed all paperwork and the financial person came to ** and stated that there was a mess up so we had too resign after that is when we left with our camper. We traveled 4 hrs too get home, we looked all over for the keys too our camper and they were no where's to be found,I called numerous times on that matter and about 6 weeks later we received keys in the mail... we didn't get our license plate until about 5 months after purchase... last but not least,we put a $5,000.00 down payment and on all paperwork it shows nothing about our down payment,we will never do business with this company again!!!

  Oh how I wish that I could leave a negative star rating. I honestly do not know where to begin with my lengthy list of complaints. Bottom line.consumers beware when doing business with Camping World to include their headquarters. They blatantly lie, making promises and guarantees they have no intention of keeping. There is a lot of miscommunication between staff even after I repeatedly clarified our need for specific repair work to be done. The workmanship of their repairs is sloppy, done haphazardly and without a thought out, step by step planned process. We were told some repairs that were already done had to be undone and re-done again to facilitate completing other needed repairs. This estimated date of completion for all our repairs has been grossly way off and as I write this review today, many weeks later, we still have no end in sight.

  They had a camper listed at just under $12k. Contacted sales and set an appointment to view the camper which was 4 days away. They then made a deal with another buyer, without notifying me as they just wanted to get me on the lot to try and sell me something else.The deal with the other buyer fell through, so we are rescheduled for the same time and day. The day before the scheduled visit, I am notified that the camper hasn't been through inspection/service yet and might not be available to view. We tentatively keep the appointment hoping they can get it through.Find out the morning of, that it wont be through inspection and available to view until a week later. I offer to view the camper anyways so we know if we want it or not, knowing that they still want to do their thing. I also ask about just buying it as is and not dealing with the inspection. Find out that it isn't possible because a manager has already approved the work to be done. Which they can't, or won't, tell me what work actually needs to be done. Not sure how they know what needs to be done since it hasn't been through inspection.And now the price has jumped to $16,995.I have, in writing, the original price. Sales associate and general manager will not honor that price and blame it on the system.

  Never will step foot into another camping world. Completely negligent business. We purchased a 2011 interstate airstream advertised for home delivery. Never was the defects disclosed to us only noted when the van arrived. Non work A/C, breakers tripping and a non working waste pump. To make matters worse it was so full of waste. In addition this company sent 2 delivery drivers from MA to GA with our van on tires that expired in 2021. We purchased this van 7/2022. The ** agrees to cover the repairs if taken to our nearest camping world which was *****, **. Our van has remained at that location for 11 months unrepaired. Never will we ever buy from camping world again in our life or support any of their locations

  We have went through 3 separate orders that have been damaged or defected!! It looks as though these toonmate seats have been sitting in a warehouse and now have mold and discoloration from moisture as well as scratches all over the plastic from being mishandled on or near a rough surface! We were told in order for the items to be returned/replaced they needed to be damaged and disposed of and we needed to send proof of that! We were told to burn the plastic and cut up the seats even more before they would be replaced, which I felt was asking too much as is!! We did this and we received replacements, but the replacements were damaged even worse than the originals! We have been through such a difficult time with Camping World and the ToonMate seats and will never ever purchase from them again. We have spent close to $3000 on items from them and needless to say they are junk!

  Sold my Rv to Camping World of ***********. Horrible experience. Person lied and lied and lied some more. Made me waste time for nothing. Made me wait 3 days for check.

  I wish I never did business with this company. I traded my pop up camper and purchased a travel trailer in the beginning of May 2023. I had to leave without my TT and return so the hitch could be installed on my vehicle another day. I was told I would get a phone call- never did. I called then had to take a half day out of work because they dont put hitches on after 3 yet after taking time out of work, the hitch was put on at 4:30pm. Now I wait for the registration.. I have made numerous phone calls requesting my registration and am still waiting almost 2 months later. I wrote a money order for the *** that Camping World employee was supposed to bring to the *** and now I am receiving emails from the *** asking me to pay the amount I gave to Camping World. This has been the worst customer Service I have ever had to deal with.

  Although Camping World is not part of the BBB. I hope youre reading this before investing in anything from this company. Let me tell you our story. My husband purchased a motorhome from this company, its been three months and he still hasnt received it. This is a used motorhome. One that was in stock. They gladly took his hard earned money. But hasnt came through with any of their promises as of yet. lots of no return calls.. which as cause so much stress on our end. We have had to cancel vacations that was planned assuming we would have this motorhome. Or we have paid more money to rent an Airbnb.. so sad!!!! that a large company like camping world would treat a family like this. I will say, I will gladly update this review if needed. But as of now. beware of making any deal with them. I hope this will help someone. Sincerely C. Bull ??
