We put a deposit on the Friday of Memorial Day weekend at Camping World in **********************, and noted we would be transferring money, plus we put a deposit down to hold the camper. We came home and order led the sway bar and weight distributor, which would arrive Thursday as well, the day the money would settle in the bank from the transfer, due to the holiday on Monday. Got a call Thursday around 3 pm, but was working, so a voicemail was left saying the camper was sold because we didnt do a credit app. I called back and talked to the saleswomen, *******, who worked with us, and said nothing was said about that when we signed the paper for the deposit and hold. She noted she didnt know about it either and her manager told her after the fact. I asked why it wasnt communicated to us then once it was known. All she could say was sorry. The manager then called my wife later and offered campers to us, along with ******* continuing to send other options for us, despite being told we only liked the one we deposited for after looking at roughly ***** that Friday we were there. The manager also tried to blame my wife by saying she didnt return the one call that was made asking if we needed anything (still have the voicemail), which we didnt because we were waiting for the money to transfer. This is unethical business practice by all means.

Horrible store, do not get scammed into listing your RV for sale here! Went in to consider putting RV up for consignment and was offered a scam of a contract. Man said one thing, contract said another. When we questioned it, he got upset and didnt want to give ** a copy of it to take and review and was angry we wouldnt sign on the spot. The anger and overall look of him and a number of employees almost seemed like they might be meth heads. Bad look for the Camping World name.

The associate some people that work at the camping world in Greenwood Indiana need to have a few lessons on how to handle their business with the public first The company should be willing to help anybody no matter their situation with low credit or great credit, or in between I feel like I’ve been discriminated against Not just wants but twice now they’ve tried to apply for financing for a camper the company was very quick to get rid of us as potential buyers of a camper. can you put world should do better they should be willing to give people either more money for their trade or be willing to take a little bit of a loss on a camper that would be taken off their lot that they would no longer have to pay taxes on, but instead, they choose to be inconsiderate.

We were sold a new trailer with a cracked roof; they said to sign the paperwork, and the roof will be replaced. After signing the paperwork, they stated they did not have to replace the roof but would patch it. The unit had stained seats and high mileage on it, which made me start to wonder if it was used because of so many broken items on the inside. The onboard generator did not work, and they said to bring it back. That was nine weeks ago! Calling weekly for an update, but not a single call was returned until I had to drive up there for an update. Camping World stated they had been trying to contact the manufactory because they did not know how to work on this generator. Over the course of nine weeks, they stated that ***** would not return their calls, so they did not know what to do. I called Nexis today and was able to reach two people who stated they have had no calls or contact from CW. When asking why it's so difficult to get a return call, the staff becomes hostile and abusive, even going as far as swearing at you. I have owned this trailer for two payments now, and I'm ready to camp at Camping World so I can enjoy my trailer. Trusting these people with a 110,000$ purchase was the most mistake, and not so much from the used trailer they sold me but from being scammed into thinking it was new. The culture is one of taking on frustrated customers with abusive and foul language and how they won't return calls.

Be fair warned... the place is a fraud. The moment they sell you something you are dead to them, and will get NOTHING but lip service from management and smoke & mirrors from the well trained folks at the counter. Good people working for a c*** organization still equals crap!! You've been warned!!

Twice now, they have sold my retired Mother water damaged Campers. The first was a Highwall popup. As 1st time RV buyers she did not know what to look for, so as it turned out, this unit had preexisting water damage, yet they happily sold it to **-CASH. Then a few months later, when the roof system failed and we took it in for service where, by their own admission, they had to take the roof off to replace the cables, they AGAIN failed to mention the water damage (we charged for the roof motor repair BTW). Fast forward about 18 months. We have taken the unit out a total of 5 times, and kept it under cover when not in use, mind you. We decide we want something different, so back to Camping World we go, unaware of the sheisty and underhanded tactics about to be unfurled upon **.We find the unit we want and proceed to go about the trade in process, NOW they "discover" the roof damage to the Pop up unit, and in the process diminish our trade in value which was already comically low, by $4000. We almost walked away, but the thought of keeping the damaged unit and STILL needing to come out of pocket 4K for the new roof didn't sit well so we went through with the deal. That was Friday 5/19/23. NOW, Sunday after getting it home and getting it prepped for future use, as I go to close up the front side I notice the bottom of the bed panel is popping out so what do i find? WATER DAMAGE!!!! That's right, they sold ** a 2nd water damaged unit. Which they PROMISED had been thoroughly "inspected".It is our feeling that they knowingly neglected to point out these issues in an effort to ******* a retiree paying CASH for not 1 but 2 separate units. Not to mention the RIDICULOUS labor cost of $146 to install a freaking HANDLE that was all of 6 **** SCREWS!!!!This location has REPEATEDLY been dishonest with their dealings with ** and what makes it worse is that they are doing it to a retired person.

I bought a new Jayco camper last July at the ************ store. We dropped it off the first week only Feb for 4 things. The freezer gasket was leaking and frosting up. The outside storage compartment door wasnt shutting tight. The hitch was so stiff you had to use a s**** driver to pry it open and the awning had a recall. 3 1/2 mo later they still have it. They will not return our calls or emails. When we do get them they say we have the parts and it should be done next week. I spoke with the manager a couple times and still no answers. This is the worst service ever. I already left a message we are coming after it. Still no call back!

Just picked up our Motorhome and paid $600 to get the keys back just to take somewhere else as its been there for 6 months. Not one thing got fixed or even ordered. When they called me they were telling me about a completely different vehicle that was not even ours. Its been a disaster to say the least. Wouldnt recommend anyone take their rv here for even the smallest issue. Huge waste of time and money not to mention extremely frustrating.

Do not take your camper to this location for ANY type of service, or maintenance! I took my camper in and perched an extremely expensive bumper to bumper maintenance package. There were additional items I wanted looked at and repaired as well. When they called me to come pick up my camper, none of the items I pointed out had been repaired. Not one! When I called them out on it, they blew me off and basically told me I could fix it myself! In addition THEY broke my rear tail light and tried to cover it up. When called out on it, they made absolutely no attempt to make it right. However, they would be happy to repair it for a fat premium! CONSIDER YOURSELF WARNED.

We have had an 11-month nightmare "working" with the ******************* location. The only positive I can say is that new Services GM *************************** is doing his best to clean up the mess.Sales - The salesman *** told us "they are all built like sh*t, so which sh*t do you want". We shopped around at multiple locations, but were in a bind and needing to purchase ASAP, ******************* had the model we were looking for. *** misfiled our paperwork, and gave us the wrong ** twice at time of pickup.Services - We took our ** in for the 90-day warrantee inspection. All repairs were cosmetic. The services worker noted, what we thought were, all of the issues to be resolved. He told us they would order the parts and we could bring the ** back. We dropped our ** off on Nov 2, 2022, as of May 2023 have not had all of the repairs. The services department has turned over, but even the new staff failed to order or complete work timely. While on-site, our ** had further damages due to storms freezing our pipes and hail damage. We were informed of the frozen pipes weeks later, we were never contacted regarding the hail damage. The last of the parts were ordered in April ************************************* Sep 2022. As of today, we are still waiting on 3 items to be fixed.Customer Service - I placed a complaint detailing the timeline and challenges we've had with this location. ***** was our "representative/advocate". She was condescending and incompetent. I asked about escalation or investigative processes multiple times, but she continued to contradict herself. I asked for a peer-review of her "investigation" of the negligence of the ******************* services team, but this was denied. CW offered $600 for our troubles, which frankly is a slap in the face for dealing with the lack of professionalism, lack of communication, and overall respect of their customers for almost 1 year. We chose to not accept this payment, and instead have the opportunity to share our miserable experience publicly.
