      Consolidated Communications is slow to cash my payment checks (13 days from the day I mail it to ************ **), but mails out new bill so it shows erroneously I have not paid previous bill.

      They are the worst. I am in ************* and my internet has been out for three weeks since we got a very heavy snow storm. After giving them the benefit of the doubt that the storm knocked out my service I called them to report my outage. I was told that the whole state was out and they were working on restoring it. After a couple days I called and was told that they were still working on it. My next call I was told that they had it repaired but a falling tree knocked it out again. My next few calls I was told that they would send a technician to my house. Finally they checked my service remotely and verified that the trouble was in my modem. They scheduled a service call for Feb. 8. No show. Next call I was told that they rescheduled for today, Feb. 13. On Friday I received an automated call saying that a technician would be here the next day which wouldn't work for me. I called and resumed the original date of Feb. 13. It is now 5:45 and again no show. Unbelievable what a horrible, unreliable, inadequate, unresponsive bunch of liars this company is. I am yet to deal with billing adjustments. I don't even want to think about how that will go. I would never recommend Consolidated Communications in a million years. They don't know what the word "communitions" means. They should be sued for their lack of upholding their responsibilities.

      First, during the worst of Covid, when internet was an absolute must-have, consolidated did ** the great favor of installing our router (something we could have easily done ourselves, but they refused to give ** one) THREE MONTHS after we moved in. Since then we have had 3 years of horrendous speeds and constant outages. 8 months ago, the first rival provider offered to lay fiber in our town, only to have consolidated step in and underbid them, saying they would instead lay the fiber, with trucks rolling out that month, and receiving a state ***** to do so. Not a single foot of fiber has been laid since they took our states money, and we are still stuck paying for sub-par internet, and terrible customer service. Their business practices are abhorrent. If you have a choice, choose any other provider.

      Consolidated communication has old technology equipment & refuses to invest in new caller ID equipment. They dont have a problem charging customers for the service though $$$$.

      I called consolidated last weekend to let them know my mom passed away and to have the **** put in my name. They said they had to cancel her service and start new service for me. She scheduled an appointment for someone to come out here today between 8 and 4 and scheduled my mom's account to be closed around the same time so we wouldn't have any service interruptions. Fast forward to yesterday. The internet is shut off. Ok cool, she said she was going to get it as close as she could. Today, at 4 pm when nobody showed, I called consolidated only to be told it wasn't fully entered in the system and the system canceled the service call and the earliest they can get someone out here is the 30th. I received a call the other day confirming my appointment!!! It said after I confirmed that the tech would be here TODAY 1/21/23 between 8 and 4. Now we don't have internet and I hope my kids don't have any homework they need to do!I told the guy to cancel my service and I'll go with someone else. I hear CTI is better anyway.

      We overpaid our bill and can't seem to find anyone to issue ** a refund of $163.94. Horrible customer service, when I call I tell them I want our refund and then they put me on hold. Disconnected every time. They must dump me into the "forget about it" que. Does anyone know how I can file a complaint?

      complained about our internet service for at least 1 yr.we call we get same did you do this we will send someone out . Ok they show we have new wires running from box to modem , have had the best modem . When guy arrives everything is great. They leave our speed goes way down again and cant download, we get bumped off We have had this problem for along time . Think it is about time for new wires to their sub station. Not getting my $$$ worth . Thinking also time for some kind of rebate.

      Unbelievably bad. Late on a payment and we are out of service for 2 months after paying a few days later. They screwed up and transferred the account to a new request for fiber, which we do not need -only for emergency other than our cells. Support sayed- oooH sorry we can't help you , it looks like it has been terminated- DUH after one week and they contacted us with a Field engineer? And now the ****** can reinstate it after their own stupid mistake?? Don't count on them they are idiots

      Horrible. On and off internet for 2 years with countless calling and techs coming out. The last time and 3 days with spotty internet (mostly no internet), tech didn't even show but claimed they, "replaced a line" or whatever. Honestly, they can't fix the issue after 15+ calls and claims of doing something, and I'm paying $90/month for garbage. Going with a wifi-available internet. I live in the boonies but guarantee the wifi speed at 3 bars will be better than snail internet or no internet. Not acceptable.
